I was in town to attend a family wedding. Audrey was very nice throughout the process. Somewhere during the service things went wrong. Highlights around my face came out orange and all the beautiful light blonde I walked in with was covered by a dark and drab toner. Nothing could be done. It was 2 hours before the wedding .I realize it's only "hair "but it will be forever reflected in my family's wedding photos and quite honestly, I was devastated and embarrassed. I avoided being in photos as much as possible. Audrey I would highly recommend classes to upgrade your skills as a colorist. Now for the amazing part. For the next day, I was able to make an appointment with the salon manager, Rebecca. She knew exactly what needed to be done. She corrected the color and did her best to bring my hair back to its original blonde and take out those bands of orange around my face. Her years of experience were reflected in the outcome. I can't thank you enough, Rebecca. I just wish I found you first. You truly get five stars for hair and your understanding and kindness. Keep being amazing!

I was sat down with a gentleman. He started my nails. He asked me what I wanted and gave me a pallet for polish. I asked if they could use the magnet to create a heart; they can't . I picked my color. But swapped to a woman who pulled my skin from the glue which tore my skin. These take forever to heal! She was over zealous with filing my thumb and took to much off on the left. The owner was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the difference between dip nails and fiberglass nails. I came in with dip, and he recommended switching to fiberglass because it doesn't require soaking off every visit or excessive filing, which helps keep your natural nails healthier. He also mentioned that my dip nails were too thick, and I completely agreed. I absolutely love how my nails turned out! They look natural, thin, smooth, and beautifully shaped. This is the best my nails have ever looked, and I've already decided I'll be coming back. Highly recommend!

I was handed off to an older guy with ridiculously long thumbnails (which should've been my first red flag). He was rough, rude, and handled my hands like he was mad at them. At one point I genuinely felt bad for the woman going next, because no one deserves that experience. My hands are probably going to be sore tomorrow, and I'm honestly shocked he didn't leave marks with how aggressively he was digging his nails into my skin the entire time.

This salon is based out of a lakeside residential property with amazing mountain views. The home itself has been converted into a salon with the family room converted into the nail salon, the garage into the hair salon, several relaxation zones serving as waiting areas, and smaller bedrooms for esthetician services such as waxing, facials, and other skin needs. Other small rooms are for massages. Candy has been an esthetician in the valley and in Anchorage for several years, and really knows her stuff. I have wax services with her, and this was my first facial. She customized my service based on what my skin type, novice experience, and needs for bridal make up. Her services are catered to your needs, she is always friendly, and ensures that your experience is what you want it it to be. Her room is set up so it can be relaxing with heated blankets, darkened window coverings, music, and will ask you what you need from her to make your experience what you want it to be. She walks you through each step, and what to expect to feel. I enjoy using Candy for services, and for new experiences because she will always make sure my comfort and relaxation is number one.
