Loved the cozy environment, they also have a backyard where they have live music bands performing sometimes! They also got some arcade games in the back. All in all a solid place! The only reason that I'm giving a 4 star is that I noticed that the drink was heavily watered down and when I asked for adding less ice on my second drink the bartender said they have to add ice to a certain level!!! I could taste less water and more of the actual drink with less ice on my second drink though!

The bartenders are super attentive and the drink variety is exceptional. One half is a quiet restaurant type area and the other half has pinball and video games. The old fashioned was classic! This is a fun place to hang out!

There was a birthday party/dinner and a company wine-down all so there's plenty of room for large groups. Although it took a while to get someone to my table; the service ended up being pleasant. The crab cakes were a little salty but very good and the brussels paired well with them although my meal consisted of an appetizer and a side. Overall it was a chill atmosphere with great views. I recommend going during sunset.

There were about 4 other tables seated and bar 1/3 full. Service was very slow all around but friendly. My husband enjoyed his shrimp po'boy & fries. I really tried to like it but ultimately asked for ranch which was good.

Their decorations give off high-end vibes and make the place feel more up-scale and sophisticated. Because of this, I found the music playing not fitting for the evening. When we walked in, it was club style music that I would rather dance to, not sit, chat, and have a few drinks to. It did not match the vibe and took away from the atmosphere. We ordered a mexican pharmacy at the bar, which my friend had recommended to me. I was not impressed, but that is on me, as I should have paid more attention to the menu. I did appreciate watching the bartender make the drink, as they obviously had great expertise behind the bar. My biggest complaint was that the drink was about 6 oz and cost me $15. My overall impression of this speakeasy was just a feeling of being underwhelmed. It is obviously popular, and I would love to try more from the expert bartenders, but I struggle paying their prices and find the atmosphere in contrast to the point of the bar.

A couple of friends and i walked in around 11pm, and i don't know if i was a worker off the clock or something but there was this woman sitting at the bar with her feet on another barstool, on her laptop, halfway through a cocktail and clearly drunk. As soon as we came up the steps, she yells, "How the f*ck do people keep getting in this is the third group!" Mind you, the door was unlocked and wide open. Then, she finally acknowledges us and says "sorry we're closed." I work at a very busy bar here in Tuscaloosa, and I can understand being annoyed, but saying something like that in front of customers coming into your establishment is so incredibly gross. I had an offer to work here and this completely turned me off I will not be coming back.

It has ample seating indoors and on a large street side patio. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. There are dozens of large screen TV's throughout providing good viewing of the Alabama game. We ordered some adult beverages and some bar food (wings, rings, fries and quesadillas). We were surprised when the food arrived at the bar in cardboard "to go" style boxes. ??? (The bar food comes from a related take-out place next door.). The food was good but the wings were very small (sparrow wings?) and the onion rings were disappointing as rings go - over cooked, breading crumbly and greasy. Alabama won the game clinching yet another SEC-West title. The place erupted in cheers and the bar cranked up Sweet Home Alabama which got everyone singing. Five stars for the ambience and service but three for the food. Hey, it's a sports bar, so I wasn't expecting a super gastronomic experience. Lots of spirit and energy on game day. The Houndstooth rocks. Roll Tide!!
