When you host teams from different counties, states, and countries, please pick fields that show some pride in your organization. They have no restrooms - only disgusting portable ones that I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole. There's trash and weeds around the field and pathways - just a terrible place for families to try to enjoy a tournament that cost so much to put on.

I played here when I was younger and now I'm bringing my son to the same field, the place hasn't changed at all. The moment you pull in there is a play area to your left and a newly built skate park. Both areas are always clean and not littered with trash or solicitors. There is also private security for the neighborhood that it is placed in. They patrol the area regularly to make sure there is no defiance in the park. Bathrooms are always well kept and clean. Area is well light from the lights over hanging from the fields. Long story short there's a little something for every age of youth.

There was so much loose dirt all along the backstop and along the 1B and 3B areas. When a ball landed in this area, it created a dirt cloud/puff. All the players shoes and socks were caked with dirt by the end of the first inning. Have you noticed how many times I've mentioned dirt? The grass IF and OF needs to be cared for; there are areas of rolling hills inside the lines that needed to be avoided; including right in front of the batters box. This field is playable, but it has so much potential. The next topic was the bathrooms. The Men's area smelled like something crawled and died in there. The Women's area was just a little bit better. Dogs were NOT allowed to enter the fan area. So be forewarned not to bring your 4 legged friend unless you want to watch the game from the OF

There are some good shady spots under the mature trees and concrete tables and benches. There is also an impressive pavilion for larger parties and such. However, the parking lot is too small to accommodate the traffic that softball brings. Which creates a traffic nightmare with lots of pedestrians in the roadway. Top secret info: Police often park their cars in this lot after sundown. The parking lot faces a stop sign, it's basically like shooting fish in a barrel. Once a month, a nearby church sponsors an outdoor movie night here. Kids just love it. The best time to come is on the weekday mornings. A group of older gentlemen race their R/C cars on the baseball diamond, which is always fun to watch. Do be careful though, I've never seen a dog on a leash at this park.

Some of the playground is pretty torn up with one orange cone as a warning for a disintegrating floor. Plenty of parking is available on all sides of the recreation center. Basketball courts are also behind the playgrounds. Beyond the basketball courts are some stairs leading to the baseball field down below, there is also parking located in the lot there as well. There are several different places to watch the games and just enjoy some friends and family and some American baseball or kickball or softball. Etc. There's a little path you can run around and be seen so it's not like running through the forest or wooded area. There's a large parking lot and street parking. The grass was lush and green, and there was plenty of it. Some very large tall trees that gave nice shade to some of the picnic tables. The bathrooms were decent but had some people panhandling in them. Parking was not too bad, even on a Saturday afternoon there were still some spots.
