Great Guys! Varook and RJ are both fantastic! Recently they have renovated the interior. It's a total gem. It's a classic Walk-in barber shop. Very social environment and also kid friendly! Be prepared to wait if you go on the back half of the week leading up to a weekend, or holiday! BUT you will leave with a smile! Parkin can be a bit confusing, there is a back lot behind the building but it is almost ALWAYS FULL! Prices are great for the services provided It would be great to get one more guy...or girl in to lighten the load on the two guys...and reduce the wait times it can be stressful knowing you need about a 2 hour window to feel comfortable getting to the next thing you need to do! I've lived in Lexington for 7 years now, and this is hands-down the best shop in the city. I tried several different places my first few years here, but was always left unimpressed and more nervous to get a cut than the last. I decided to give Cuts on Lime a try after I continuously passed it on campus, and it was the best decision I could have made. The atmosphere is very laid-back and chill, and the barbers are all welcoming and friendly. After only my first few visits they remembered me and know exactly the cut I want. You can book appointments with "theCut" app on your phone (highly recommend) and be in and out in 30 minutes, however they do take walk-ins as well. I first moved to Lexington last summer. Being new to the area i asked a home town friend where there was a good place to get a cut. She immediately told me cuts on lime barber shop. So I gave the shop a call and asked if they take walk-ins and came on in that day. A short wait later I was in the chair and got one of the best cuts of my life. After that cut I was hooked. Now I try to get in isa's chair at least once a week. The barbers here are the real deal. It's a laid back atmosphere and anyone should feel welcome here. I have become quite the regular at this place over the past few years.. Nothing but praise for these guys, it's always busy but that's a sign they are good at what they do. "The cuts" app makes it easy to schedule appointments. The environment is very relaxed, playing good music with ESPN on the TV.. To address a recent review: I also, am a white male- not once have I experienced anything such as what he described. They speak different foreign languages, making it impossible to communicate in anything other than English. Makes me doubt the legitimacy of the post. By far the best barber in town. They also use the app called "the cut" which makes scheduling appointments super simple and convenient even though I'm pretty sure they take walk ins as well. I always go to Froukh and he cuts my hair exactly how I want it even if I'm not 100% sure how I want it and always knows how to make it look best. I'm also a woman so it can be intimidating going into a place where usually only men go but they are always SUPER friendly and welcoming to anyone who comes through the doors. I was the second person there in the morning and waited in the cold for 45 minutes.The Barber was 15 minutes late and after the shuffle of people that rushed the door I somehow ended up being fifth or sixth in line.This place really isn't for grown men whose time is money, its for kids that have three hours to sit there waiting for a cut, looking at their phone, and not getting paid. You can call him with an appointment if your schedule is tight or you can come in as a walk-in and the haircut is just as good every time. I was in town for an extended visit and needed a shape-up, so I ran in here just before lunchtime. I was greeted right away and had my hair finished in less than 20 minutes!
