I decided on this place for a haircut, because they accepted walk ins, my Graduation is in a few days, mind you I had a picture and all for this lady... and she assured me several times she could do it without the picture. She wore creepy bright eye contacts and almost identical to pajamas with no socks and house slippers .... The vibe already felt a little off, she didn't smile more give me any reassurance throughout the cut . I explained I wanted a blowout taper fade , meaning leaving fluff in the back but with a nice line up and a little clip in the front .... WITH A PICTURE .... she screwed me up!! I have razor burn all on the back of my neck , I ended up dyeing my hair directly after because of how bad it was , so I only have after pictures which SHOW NO JUSTICE ... My skin was pink and irritated and raw , my hair is UGLY. And I'm Humiliated... I still tipped $6 .... But NEVER going back ... in pain and embarrassed! read more

Absolutely horrible job at cutting hair. My daughter and i got the guy that works there, and he didn't even know what he was doing, and you could see it all over his face. i had to ask him several times to correct the very uneven and long areas he didn't cut, and he still couldn't get it right. I eventually said don't worry about it and ended up going elsewhere to correct our horrible haircuts. Went in for a very simple clean up on the sides and back of my hair. Leave the top long, just blend it in since I never come here and I was only in town for the day. This lady completely screwed up my side part and it's taken me over a month and a half of awkward haircuts of trying to grow my hair out long enough for my current barber to fix it. If I could give them 0 stars I would. My husband took our 5 year old son in to get a haircut. They got there at 9:25 when no one was there and people gradually started to come in to get haircuts. He was the second person in line to get a haircut. My husband sat there for over an hour waiting to get our sons haircut and finally walked out and left. They took at least 10 people ahead of him while they were still waiting. This is poor service and we will not be back. read more

My wife took our 7 year old there tonight for a trim and was refused service because my son's hair was too "curly" or in other words too coarse. Was told to come back when "Rico" is there. My son and I came by to get a haircut and signed in at the same time. So,after about 15 minutes they call him back. I sit there and watch people come in and because they knew them they took them back before me. Like 4 people went in front of me because they knew them. I watched one guy come and and say" can you cut me real quick,I'm in a hurry"? She did. At that point I just left.the place I usually go was closed so I figured I'd try something new. I don't know her name but I walked in and had shoulder length hair walked out with hardly no hair at all, I told her do NOT cut by bangs (my hair was all one length) she whacks them all off. I even showed her a picture printed out on paper not on my phone and she just whacked where she wanted to she knew she messed up and kept cutting to "fix" it. I did show my butt in the salon because she was too busy listening to other people gossip and f****d my hair up!! It took me a almost a year to grow my hair out from her f**k up. I will NOT ever step foot back in this Cut's by Us it was a truly horrific experience. If you do not know how to cut hair or listen to a person who is telling you how they want your hair cut do NOT work in a salon. read more

I wish I could do 0 stars!! This place is awful!! Ladies do not try to save money by going here to get your hair cut! You will have to spend more money in the long run to get your hair fixed from it being cut wrong! I had the worse experience by going to this location! My hair is uneven and my "layers" look like straight lines across my head! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I would post pictures but the page is not giving me the option to! The manager is rude and does not even try to help the customers. She is very argumentative and says she will "try" to fix it. But who wants someone to try and fix your hair when it is already awful?!? NOT ME! I have contacted corporate and they are not as helpful as they should be either! I noticed two reviews that were not happy with something at Cuts by Us. One was about having to sit while watching people who just came in being taken back first. I use Cuts by Us and I would assume this is because the new people coming in had an appointment. I always make an appointment with the stylist I like so many times I go ahead of people sitting there. Which carries into the next review. This person liked the first haircut she got but when she went back a second time used a different stylist and didn't like her cut. I recommend the same thing make an appointment with the stylist you like. Or if you don't want to tie yourself to a certain, find out their schedule and go in on the days they work and ask for them. Bottom line, Cuts by Us is a walk in Solon but they take appointments and you can ask for a certain hair dresser. Sarah at Millbrook Cut by Us has been cutting my hair for some time now and I have been very happy with her. read more

I went in for a simple hair cut...I told Roger 4 times no more than half and inch. He cut 3 inches off and wouldn't listen to me when I asked him to stop. The right side was and inch longer than the left and I was afraid to ask him to fix it so I had to get my 13 year old daughter to fix it when we got home. The entire time I was in his chair he was talking about dumpster diving and his other various jobs where he resales the crap he finds in the trash and about getting stuff off the side of the road and cleaning it up and reselling it. I'm super upset and will never go to this place again. I don't recommend it to my worst enemy. read more

I have hair that is very hard to cut. It is baby fine and not everyone can cut baby fine hair. I have been to Cuts by Us twice now. The first time Denise cut my hair. She listened carefully to my directions and cut my hair in the style that I had asked her to. The next day when I styled my hair it came out just as perfectly as it did when Denise styled it for me. I just hate it when I go to style my hair after I have had it cut by someone new and it doesn't quite come out right. I really loved the cut Denise gave me. The second time I went to Cuts by Us Tammy cut my hair. It was nice but, I think Denise did a better job. Tammy showed me a new product that I just love for the fly aways. I think the reason that my hair cut did not come out as well this time is because, I was not as specific about what I wanted. The location is convenient to my home, the ladies are sweet, you can walk in, and the price is great. I paid $22 for a full cut and style! I will continue to get my hair done at Cuts by Us. read more

I went in for just a trim & came out with uneven layers, bangs (which i didn't ask for) and hair 2 inches shorter than what I requested to be cut. My hair was still wet when I left so I didn't realize how bad it looked. When I got home to style it i realized how bad it was. I went to Willam Mason and paid $35 to get it fixed (mind you I already paid $15 and a tip for the bad hair cut) so I went back and nicely explained my frustration to only receive a gift certificate for my next hair cut. I'm not sure what i'll do with a gift certificate to a hair place that messes up my hair, but until then it remains on my kitchen counter. Overall I do NOT recommend this place!! read more

I had my hair cut by kayla moore. she was amazing! I had major split ends and was afraid I was going to have to lose most of my length. however kayla saved my length, got rid of my split ends, and gave me an amazing cut that I love. kayla is def my new hair stylist. read more
