If you value your time and expect a reasonable amount of respect/customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere. Unfortunately there aren't too many Korean salons in the area, so many of my friends keep coming back despite the unsatisfactory cuts / long wait times after scheduled appt times.. But out of curiosity, and since I'm not too picky and just needed a trim, I decided to make an appointment at the same time as my boyfriend's existing appointment. When I arrived early however, we were greeted with "are you sure you had an appointment? ...today?" Then they interrupted one stylist while they were with another client, and asked if he would have some time. And we were told to wait 15 minutes. Of course we waited and waited until a different stylist freed up and asked the gentleman waiting next to us if he had an appointment, and did not bother to ask us. When we finally asked when we'd be seen, the free stylist got off his phone and reluctantly said he would cut my hair, but he had an appointment in 20 min. So naturally, I declined the 20 min haircut from the stylist who made it clear he did not want to cut my hair. During these tough times, it hurts me to leave a negative review on a small business, but it's the repeated indecency of wasting peoples' time that needs to be addressed.. Please do better for your clients. read more

I've gone to this place for the first time about a month and a half ago. I asked the stylist (who's also the owner) to make my hair however she wanted and it turned out great! I went back again a few days ago for a trim and when it didn't look as exactly as I liked, she understood and fixed it. I'll be coming back here for future cuts. Men's basic haircut is $20 flat. I'm not sure exactly, but I believe women's is $25. read more

This is the worst haircut I've ever gotten in my life. No joke the worst haircut. Just look at the pic. It looks like I got in a fight with a weed whacker and lost. I suppose it's not entirely PSC's fault. I should have known better when the haircut from the man that was cutting my hair looked beyond foked up. This should have been a good indicator that my hair was not going to be any better. I went to my regular hairdresser in Atlanta and the first thing he said was, did you try to cut your hair yourself? FML. If you're a Korean male and you like the look of North Korean styled cuts, this may be the place for you. I would say you would have a better cut at great clips than you would this sh!t hole. read more

This place was awesome! I'm from out of town, and was looking for an Asian barber shop/hair salon and was so happy to find PSC Hair Studio. Only $20 for a men's haircut, and being Asian themselves, they knew how to work with my very straight hair. I was very wary of getting a haircut out of town, but the person who worked on me listened to everything I said and knew what she was doing! They had a slick wireless razor that made the cut fast and simple, and even shampooed my hair for free, because I had some product in it. I'm thinking of getting another haircut here before I head back home! Thanks! read more

I got my hair cut by Bora, a popular hairdresser at this shop. she made my hair worst I ever had... everyone of my colleagues said negatives. they all politely recommended not go get any more hair cut from there. in my perspective, yes.. my hair cut was like idiot looking, very unbalanced two block cut. moreover, as I remember the moment at the counter after hair cut, she knew that my hair cut looked terrible because she quickly glanced and was surprised at her work. then she made a compulsive laugh . I cannot forget the laugh..and sometimes it bothers me when I pass near the psc.. I will never go again. she should make a lot of effort to improve her skill. read more

Worst haircut of my life. My hair stylist (a young man) did not speak English. The young woman who washed my hair did not successfully translate. My hair was cut far too short, not at all consistent with my direction. She blamed me because I only said I needed it long enough to put up in a pony tail, and didn't say high pony tail. I demonstrated what I meant by pony tail. And my demonstrated pony tail was indeed high. My hair is a wreck. I won't be able to wear my hear up for workouts for a few months. I was too polite to leave when he showed up and couldn't communicate with me. Don't do the same thing. Just don't go at all. read more

I've been here several times over the last year. What keeps me coming back is it's close to my house and I know whomever trims my hair will do a good job. They know how to cut a women's angled bob. It would be nice if the staff wasn't so completely ackward each time. Perhaps it has to do with most of their customers being Korean, so they feel uncomfortable with English. read more
