Having our pooch move from another city to Waterloo meant we had to look for a new groomer. Looking…read moreat other services around the KW area, I was drawn to Clippers because of the homey feel I got from their page and reading about their staff. The parking lot is a little small but it's in a nice location where you can easily hop over to a coffeeshop or other places while you wait for your pet to get their cuts, etc. done. I liked that the staff in the back (who would be doing the haircut) was the one directly talking to us to get exactly what we wanted. She asked us the right questions, and in great detail. My partner and I had concerns about our dog's nails and they were able to clip them (which gave our little one great relief!). I was very happy with the service and we got exactly what we told her to do for our dog. Overall, it was a very good experience!

I've been coming here for years. Although the employees in the back are excellent, I have received…read moresome attitude and rudeness from the girls at the front desk. When I came in for my cats appt- there was no hello or smile it was just " whos this". Even though there is a chart right in their hands of previous appts- I still get asked what would you like today. So I said the same as last time. After some more rudeness I had drop my cat off and came back an hour later. The girl at the front asked me what I was there for. I was shocked that just an hour before that I had dropped my cat off to her. And after I said I just dropped him off - more attitude. A customer had come in when I was sitting there waiting- and she again gave attitude to another customer. The customer said " hello how are you" and right away the recptionist said " who's this" very rudely. I would be going to another place but unfortunately there are not many places around that will cut cats. I don't want to make them look bad but this has been happening many times now and I feel that if you are dealing with the public- a simple hello and or a smile would be nice. Especially for the price I pay for my cats hair to be cut. The employees that actually work- in the back- are great and keep up the excellent work!

The attention to detail, the kindness and the love and care they put into taking care of any pup that comes in is outstanding! We brought in our beagle, Olive; who HATES nail clippings. The amount of patience they had with my fur baby is amazing. Melanie and Vicky tried different techniques to get Olive to calm down for her clipping and it turned out nothing short of perfect. Due to Petmax + courier delays and the product becoming unusable for its intended purpose after discovering health issues with my cat, I contacted Petmax before the delivery was completed. Petmax instructed me to refuse delivery to receive a full refund, but the courier entered my building unauthorized, left the package in a common area without my consent, and removed my ability to refuse it. When I tried to resolve the issue with Petmax, I was required to follow a return process I cannot complete due to my disability, yet I had to disclose it to request basic assistance and proper application of their policy. Despite this, I was offered store credit minus $17 shipping fees or a physically impossible return method. Petmax stated they work with several couriers and those couriers had limitations, which is why I was refused accessible return. Upon research, the information Petmax provided appeared inconsistent with published policies from their courier network and the available courier pickup options, that offer paperless return pickup services. Other customers are allowed returns and full refunds but I am excluded from it because I have a disability that makes certain acts physically not possible for me.
