I do need to say I love the one barber they have there named Roger. Yes he is no nonsense and a bit short at times but he is good for my Autistic son. And I like the way he cuts my hair. So for him I give 4 stars. But for the shop I only give 1 star. I can't get my hair done due to there being no hot water. and there has not been any for the past few WEEKS! I don't understand why the owner does not get the water heater fixed or get a new one, but I'm ready to find a new place for me and my son. Even though I do not want to leave Roger but this is just to much! read more

I take my boys to get hair cuts here every two weeks. This place has a decent set up not too fancy, and you'll never have to wait very long for a haircut. There's usually one barber in particular that never has clients... and there's a good reason for that, I'll tell you why... He is the only man working here and is very rude to customers especially if you have kids. He has yelled at my kids on multiple occasions, he always has a big mess at the table next to his station, he leaves his medication out on his little messy table. He's just a nasty Barber ! Don't get your haircut done by him. Use one of the two ladies in the back, they're awesome read more

Great pricing and did a great job on both men's and women's cuts. Good atmosphere and easy to find.

WoW! It can be hard to impress this girl but Liz---YOU DID IT!!! I called at 11am-ish on a Friday to see if a walk-in, root touch up, and partial highlite was possible that day? (Imagine? Same day service, new client!) They said yes!! I hurried myself over & arrived about 1pm. Liz & I talked about what I wanted color-wise & we agreed & she did her thing!! The color came out perfect. She even had time to cut my hair--which is also is perfect. Liz-- I am SO happy & I am looking forward to our new partnership in hair. TY :) Cuts n Co is my new favorite!!! read more

They were open on new years eve! Great price and awesome haircut! This is definitely my new hair salon.

This is hands down the best cut my young daughter has ever had -- and super affordable. $13!? Wow. We will be back and asking for Roger. He was gentle, upbeat and cut the best bob I've ever seen! read more

Great service and open on weekends. Bernie has been cutting my hair for a while now and she has always provided great service.

Leann is amazing. She did a full set for me with color along with a flower and it was perfect. She is gentle, detailed and efficient. Full set, flower, and painted my toes for $30.00!! She provided free water, soda and or orange juice. My new place to go from now on! :) Also, Roger cuts my boyfriends and I's hair and does wonderful, all for a great price as well. I would recommend this place any day. read more

~Clean Cuts and Cool Conversation~ This place is right next to Vons and Cost Cutters with a fantastic sams across the way too. The reason I came here was to take advantage of the Check In coupon on yelp, but totally forgot about it anyways, oh man. Still, Liz was my barber and was worth choosing. She was conversational and made me feel comfortable during the haircut. I hate the awkward barbers that don't talk and don't get to know you. Depends on who you are. I want this 15-20min to be a building relationship. I'm trusting you with my hair, so lets get to know each other. Haircut was really good, she continuously gave me suggestions because I gave her liberty since I wanted to try something new. There's also a segment of Cali Cuts that does other stuff. Nails and all that. So if anyone wants that. That's an option too. Well, I like my haircut and my time at Cali Cuts, I'm just not sure if my girlfriends going to be too thrilled with how short and tapered I got my hair. Oh well. read more

Bernie was awesome. My elderly mother hadn't had her haircut since pre covid . She's very frail and just had a stroke and suffers from dementia. I called from my home in Hawaii to make an appointment with someone that would be patient and understanding. Miss Bernie was so amazing , kind and gave my mom a great cut, wash , and style. I will continue to come back to her every time my mom needs her cut. She let me stay by my moms side during the appointment. It was a great experience and a great quality haircut. read more

Great service. Got there before 9 am. Chill place. Will definitely go back if I'm the area.

First time going in to the place and came out looking fresher then I thought I would, the lady that cut my hair did it so fast and so clean and you can tell she's got skill! Would recommend without doubt. read more

I had a 2 pm appt with Liz. I was having a busy day and busted my butt to make my appointment. I got there a few minutes early and the shop was empty other than a man cleaning something. I said I had a 2 pm and he told me Liz called in sick. Then there was just silence, very awkward silence. He walked back to a station and I'm thinking he's getting an appt book but no. He just said "Liz will be in at 9 tomorrow morning". That was it. No apology. No nothing. And they probably wonder why no one is in their shop. I won't be back. read more

I bring my son here for haircuts. We never wait long and he gets a nice haircut at an affordable price. The staff are friendly. There is ample seating. They have magazines, a big screen tv to keep you occupied. They have a variety of men's styling products, but I don't see any for women. This shop has mostly male customers, but I have seen more and more women lately. I would bring my son back again. read more

Family said i looked shaggy as heck, so I searched out a local place. Quick and easy clipper cut with some scissor work. I had a reference photo to simplify the process, and the stylist (reminded me a little of some of my Fil-Am aunties) was friendly and kept trimming until we approached my desired length. No waiting and no customers, I went in anyway. Constant feedback was welcomed. She started longer and was patient to go progressively shorter without lopping it all off at once. I received a discount for checking in with Yelp. $2 off at time of service, totalled $14. Perhaps I am just not picky and could see how others might be dissatisfied, but I got a short, clean hairstyle and now look somewhat presentable for the family. Maybe they'll let me eat Thanksgiving inside this year, it looks to be cooler weather. read more

Walked in and got a color service right away. Very reasonably priced and a great job. Friendly and helpful staff, clean environment, nothing more I could ask for. A few weeks later, the part of my hair that was colored is very faded. I had also never been charged to have my hair dried after a color before this. Absolutely will not be going back. read more

At first I was skeptical... but my hair came out good and at a good price so I was happy overall. I don't get a lot of haircuts and I looked to yelp for some insight. After reading the compliments I decided to give it a shot. New customers are always a little awkward but the guy knows how to cut hair and in the end that's what matters. read more

Huey was superb. Cut my husband's horribly unmanageable hair and made him look like a stud. Literally walked in from parking the car and he was already in the cha Place was clean, fish tank was beautiful, people were nice. Rare for So Cal... Would definitely come back. read more

Got great cut hear from Michelle. Just stopped by needing a clean up and was pleasantly surprised.

I walked in and was seen immediately which was cool but once the man (roger) found out I wasn't vaccinated his whole attitude switched up he didn't want to have to do my beard he was starting to quickly hurry to get me out. For the most part it looked fine until I got home and looked in the mirror and there were major lines all over my head through out my hair the top had long patches etc I can't even believe the disrespect this man gave me after finding out I wasn't vaccinated. I wore a mask! I'm unsure why you had to mess up my whole hair cut and be so unprofessional about it. Plus, I tipped and now regret even doing so considering what he did to MY HAIR I paid for. Not cool, I'll never go here again! Thanks Roger. read more

Great haircut! I called to make sure there was availability and I was able to make an appointment at 4:30 that same day.

My first visit here. Thanks Debbie for hooking me up with my cut. You listened and asked the right questions. Glad I was able to get in with no wait. Kind of nice yet odd to get your hair done outside on the sidewalk. I will be back when I am in the area. read more

Bernie is my go-to haircutter. She is the only one I trust to cut my hair. Very professional and friendly

Leann did my nails. She was absolutely fabulous. Very clean meticulous in her work. Looked at my nails every step to make sure the were all matching in the shape and clean around edges. Guaranteed I wouldn't need a fill for three weeks. As soon as I walked in she greeted me asked if I wanted a cold drink. Will definitely go back to her and she was fast. Went in at 440 and got out at 6. Super happy with her work. Go check her out if you want your nails or a pedicure done. Awesome thanks so much Leanne. read more

This hands-down is the best salon I have been to. Waiting for a haircut is like lounging at home. The seating area has a giant screen TV and comfortable furniture. The walls have cool posters. The staff were very friendly, and the lady who cut my hair for only $20, did just as good of a job as the lady who I last paid $70 to cut my hair. I've been coming to Huey for over 10 years now. He never ceize to amaze me. This shop is located right next to the pet shop. Great atmosphere! The only downside is that.. theres only 1 location. read more

I've known Huey since the time he opened the shop in Santa Maria. As of now, I can still say that he cuts my hair the best out of everyone, but better yet he has also improved year after year. Cali Cuts was listed on Yelp with 4 stars - and now I know why. I called to see if I could get a pedicure the same day, and was told to come right in. Immediately when walking in, I was greeted and Leann seated me right away. Two minutes later, I have a cold bottle of water, the chair is giving me a back massage and Leann is already started on my feet. An hour later, I have a lovely set of painted toes, had a leg and foot massage and - best of all, a quiet experience. No piped in music - although the tv was on very low, everyone working quietly. The salon was clean and well organized and the price was very low for a pedicure. Very relaxing and professional. read more
