Tagging along with Irene, at the Kawaii Friends Fair (upper level of the mall in the Hallmark/Dunkin Donuts wing, formerly known as "downtown")... she pointed out: Sharon Fleur Creations. Specifically, she called to my attention... a Miffy pen topper. I understood what she meant. It was the last Miffy... and it was my chance to create a pen of my choice. I went with the lavender and fuscia themed Miffy and placed a fuzzy ball with a sparkly ball under her... so cute and reasonably priced! Sharon, the vendor, was very helpful and patient! Thank you! Thanks, Irene, for encouraging my crafty side. I'll go back one day and maybe get a cute plushie bag charm or create a keyring!

What are you celebrating…read more.. Chances are they have the perfect card for you for all occasions and holidays to give for all ages and what I do love about it is it's unique. These days a typical card is quite pricey so rather than getting a card I've been going quite off the usual yet still nothing beads a handwritten card and thanks to Decowoods you can find that here. It's not just cards but gift cards and gift sets as well and as school starts there were gifts for teachers which makes it easy as many are shopping it's all put together for you. The lady working it is so friendly and helpful to find what we would need and at such great prices for something hand made is special and why I keep browsing over her selections. Thank you!

Shopping in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawai'i…read more.. While at the Kawaii Friends Fair at Pearlridge Center on 7.26.26, Irene pointed out DECOWOODS, a vendor that specialized in homemade greeting cards. This vendor's products are very neat, kawaii, and affordable. I got to mix and match 4 handmade cards for $5. I selected 8 cute cards to make it an even $10 so that I could get a stamp on the Loyalty Card! The nice lady running the booth was very pleasant and friendly! I look forward to seeing her again in a few months. I'll check her Instagram for her next location and dates.

Walked into this store on a whim. I observed only one employee inside the store…read more I asked her if this store just opened up. The young employee did not appear to understand what I asked her. I asked if she knew the opening date and I realized she didn't understand the question. I went on my way to look around. It's a large store filled with niche squishy toys, blind boxes and an array of character stuffed animals. There is also a wall of cool cellphone covers. After I walked around and enjoyed the variety of items offered there, I approached the employee again to ask her if she had a business card. Sadly, I don't think she understood me again. The prices appear reasonable, at least for the cellphone covers. The large variety of items available here would make any adult and child smile. I'm pretty sure you would find something that would make you happy. Good luck on your new store. The store is located on the street level, makai side. We've all passed here…read more.. For many reasons is there many have since closed and moved on it's so sad to see from way back in the day what this area has been so vibrant and fun location is now bare and depressing. Thankfully there are still many great biz here including Starbucks, McDonald's, Auto Zone, Ono Loco Tacos and Texaco it's obvious of the huge void in a couple of anchor spots and has been for several years and have yet to hear a peep of anyone occupying the vacant spaces. Not sure how this Marketplace is surviving but hoping it does and return back to life like how it used to be especially when they demolish the Aloha Stadium that's a whole new craziness. Thank you!

When it's pupu time, we enjoy many snacks such as Ahi jerky, Dried ahi, Boiled peanuts, and smoked marlin dip (with crackers or chips)! That's the menu for a Hot New Business named: DA PUPU BROS This small local business is run by three brothers: Preston, Grayson, and Weston. They are home schooled children, learning about economics, marketing, public relations, etc. in the real world! Isn't this a cool concept that you want to support? I found them by strolling through the Farmer's Market at Windward Mall. Hours of operation are: Wednesdays from 2pm to 6pm and Sundays from 10am to 2pm. Service was excellent. The brothers are able to answer the questions about their products and business while their father stands by. I got a bag of boiled peanuts and a Smoked marlin dip which came with a sleeve of Ritz crackers! They were super delicious and very fresh! Come check them out! They're in the Target wing, right outside of the Windward Mall Food Court!

That's…read moreone thing I love about Sunshine People Market is that the showcase the kids and these kids makes some awesome products and yes I definitely get them for myself and to share...it's just so hard to resist it's like they just know what we like or look for. Today at the Barn in SALT Kaka'ako was filled with various wonderful crafters all unique in their own way and loved that many have items you can make it your own. Matcha is also found here as well which is very nice as that alone makes my shopping experience extra bougie ;) as I couldn't resist both Green Times (Earl Gray Matcha) and Yonsei Matcha (Banana Cream Matcha and Hojicha) but the stickers from Mini Girl Studios is just so adorable and at 1 for $2 or 3 for $5 I got 15 of them for $25 :) Parking in SALT is free for the first hour and entrance is free so feel free to give them a peek which I'm sure you'll find something that perfect and support these wonderful local small biz. This little area has so many great eateries to offer. . There's a Starbucks on the corner to hang…read moreout at. Then there's Just Tacos and a Kozo Sushi. Right next to that is a Quiznos, and L&L and a Panda Express. There's even Wendy's across the street. There is a good variety to choose from if you are in the area. Parking lot at lunchtime is bit crowded, but manageable. I always stop here along the way to Walmart! ^_^*~

If you feel like kontasu rice bowls, sushi, ramen, plate lunch or Chinese food...it's all there. There's also other shops besides eating those don't fill my stomach with food.

I just think it's cool that the "Like Like Drive Inn" nostalgic sign is kept as Ke'eaumoku Street has transformed to a much more modern and no stranger to luxury high rise condominium this little shopping area is a piece of gem and is home to quite a few places that we all do enjoy whether it's some snacks at Wholesale Unlimited to bites at Kyochon Chicken, YogurStory, or to just grab a drink at Teapresso Bar the parking here is all free and nothing beats that. I've even gotten my pedicure at Gradient Nails there's so much here than what you can see with lots of various services available here is a small spot. Parking entrance is on Ke'eaumoku Street while you exit on Kanunu Street and is quite tight especially at the corner area so it can be challenging for larger vehicles though with various great local biz they have here it can get filled though I think it's worth the visit. Banchan House is in N Cat's place. YogurStory replaced Like Like Drive Inn. Welcome to all of the new businesses and wishing continued success to current and new tenants! I appreciate the free parking, variety of shopping and dining opportunities, and clean environment!
