This is an awful cleaning service. I bought a livingsocial deal from this company where I got two…read morehousecleaners for 3 hours- so 6 total hours of cleaning... and so I was supposed to get a "general cleaning" on my 1300 square feet home. According to their website a general cleaning includes the following things- I've highlighted what wasn't done when they came to clean my house... BATHROOMS We clean the entire bathrooms in detail. A partial list of areas that we clean are: Scrub all showers and tubs, while eliminating mildew and soap scum. Clean toilets in detail, while eliminating circles that form in toilets, leaving them white and clean. Clean bathroom floors leaving them squeaky clean- NOT DONE IN OUR FULL BATH Mirrors and lights above mirrors. Dust all relevant items and furniture in bathrooms.- BACK OF TOILET TANK NOT DUSTED Clean and disinfect sinks. KITCHENS Stoves are cleaned in detail, lifting the burners out and cleaning beneath them. The filter is cleaned as well, eliminating greasy residue. BURNERS NOT CLEANED. Microwaves are cleaned inside and out. INSIDE OF MICROWAVE NOT CLEANED Refrigerators are cleaned in detail on the outside, including the top of. All appliances are cleaned, including toasters, coffee makers, blenders, etc. Cabinet doors are cleaned- CABINETS NOT CLEANED. Countertops are cleaned Floors are cleaned in detail,leaving them squeaky clean. We eliminate cobwebs. COBWEBS NOT CLEANED. DUSTING & VACUUMING- NOTHING WAS VACUUMED IN MY HOUSE We dust in detail with furniture polish and glass cleaner, picking up items, pictures, etc. and dusting beneath them (unless instructed not to do so).SIDE TABLES IN LIVING ROOM AND TOPS OF BOOKSHELVES IN BEDROOM NOT DUSTED We dust pictures frames on walls.- NO PICTURES DUSTED We change beds: When you would like any beds changed, please leave clean linens out so they can be changed We eliminate cobwebs in each room. BEDROOMS AND LIVING ROOM STILL HAVE COBWEBS We clean all ceiling fans. NO FANS WERE CLEANED We clean window sills and windows (upon request). NO WINDOW SILLS WERE CLEANED IN MY HOUSE. Aside from all this, they didn't clean one of our three bedrooms, or our hallway, mudroom or our entryway... they didn't bring a vacuum so they didn't vacuum any of our rugs, they didn't do any baseboards or doors, they didn't even clean the floor under our couch in the living room! It was awful. I have no idea what the two women who were in our house for 3 hours did with themselves, but it wasn't cleaning anything. I've posted pictures of some of the areas they didn't clean... I did call the owner Dana to ask that she correct this situation, but I haven't heard from her. I'll never use this service again, and I strongly discourage anyone else from using them.

As the time for the voucher to expire came closer (expired on September 28, 2011), I called the phone number on the voucher (which has changed) and got a machine. I left a voice mail requesting them to call me to advise of some particulars. The machine also directed you to their website to make an appointment for housecleaning. This was around September 21, 2011. My wife also called and left a message. No one called. Around September 26, I used their online calendar to make an appointment for January 10, adding this comment: "I have left messages, but no one has returned my call. The expiration date for my voucher is September 28, but I cannot confirm if you will honor it for this date, but I am assuming so, since the links in your calendar point to the Living Social 2 hour voucher, which I believe was only offered once since I purchased it. Please call to verify." Their website lets you pick an appointment time based on availability. They had certain dates and times available for those of us with vouchers. The earliest at that point in time was January 9, 2012. (3 months out!) No call back. I did however receive an auto email a couple days later indicating my appointment had been canceled with no explanation. Rags 2 Riches at best does not communicate, and at worst looks to steal from potential clients by selling vouchers and then not honoring them.

Our family recently moved from Raleigh, NC to Williamsburg VA. Moving, in itself, is stressful and…read moreoverwhelming so we knew it was going to be a long process before we were unpacked and settled. The hardest part for me is knowing where to start!! There's a million boxes, kids are running everywhere, we still need to eat and a place to sleep......it's like being given a million puzzle pieces without the picture. I researched and looked into finding someone to help take this chaos and make it simple and smooth. I had a friend who highly recommend Milissa and LOVED everything about her company! So I reached out and was able to talk to her prior to the big move-in date. I was thoroughly impressed because after booking her she sent emails several days prior with tidbits and advice on how to mentally prepare for each room. I felt with that help as though we were taking those million puzzle pieces and now grouping them (edges, same color, etc) Though it seems small, it took this huge stressful event and made it seem manageable. She was extremely professional and when she came in that day she had my whole kitchen set up so it was functional and clean. If it wasn't for her, it would of easily taken several days (plus extra stress, screaming, crying and who else know!?!) I always weigh out what is most important in every situation, because moving is and will always be STRESSFUL, so if you can find someone who will make that event less stressful and manageable (and even learn new tips!) then why not!!! I highly recommend M I organized, Milissa will not only organize anything and everything but she will also leave you feeling so accomplished....and that in itself is priceless.
