As soon as we walked in for our appointment, I knew we were in the right place. Gowns in every style were hanging in various stages of completion. The couple who ARE Pyramid are warm and patient and man, they are pros. Beyond pros, though, they are artisans. My gown is beaded w a keyhole back and I wanted it perfectly tailored so it lay totally flat against me. The work they put in between the back and the multilayered hem that needed shortening...I was speechless and amazed. It. Is. Perfection. I am taking everything in my closet to Pyramid. Unbelievable. Best tailor in Bergen County!…read more I work in NYC and have been looking for a great tailor for a while. I brought my suit in and Tony tailored it like it was meant to be on the cover of GQ. This guy knows what's he's doing and comes from a long history of Italian tailoring. I have had every bridesmaid dress I've worn altered here, but when I was getting married didn't go with my gut to come here. I was thinking I needed to go to a bridal salon. I was wrong!!! The bridal salon I went to did not do what I wanted. I ended up taking the dress home and after looking at it more, realized they changed the whole dress and it's not the same, not the look I wanted when I bought the dress. I went to Belma 3 days before I was leaving for my wedding. She was able to fix it along with some other features the other place said they could not fix. I love my dress again and I'm so happy! I wish I went there from the beginning.

Terrible attitude, unhelpful, and won't fix what she screws up…read more I never write reviews, but don't come here for mens jackets. I've been to this shop a couple times for pants, but this time I brought a Military Dress Uniform Jacket to get taken in for a more tailored look. After I was fitted and pinned, I said I need the jacket in two weeks. 2 days later I called to ask if the jacket could be done in one week so that I could come in and make sure no adjustments needed to be made. I was told this was not possible and that two weeks is what she said, so two weeks is what I would get. At two weeks I went in and as I feared, it was too tight in the upper back and shoulder area, and when asked if she could let it out a bit she said "theres nothing I can do for this." The material has nowhere to go, so it folds up at the bottom of the collar and forms a lip, and it is extremely tight if I bring my arms up from my side at all. So now I have a very formal military even to attend with a jacket that is too tight and uncomfortable, even when I brought the jacket in 3 weeks early in case of any issues. She knew my timeline and that this needed to look perfect, and then when something wasn't right, she wanted no business in fixing the screw up. Very bad at taking criticism in an industry where it is all about criticism until the costumer feels comfortable in THEIR expensive clothing, and fits how THEY need it to. Never coming back here, a huge waste of $85 and a $200 military coat ruined.

1 star This was my…read morefirst time using Englewood Green Cleaners, and the customer service left a bad impression. On the 22nd I got a receipt showing an invoice number, the amount, and "paid." When I picked up my items, I paid with my card and got a second receipt for the same amount, this time with a reference number instead of an invoice number. Two receipts for the same amount, both showing payment, looked to me like I'd been charged twice. So about half an hour after leaving the store, I called to ask. The cashier, David, couldn't explain how their receipts work. Instead, he suggested I shouldn't be calling him at all and should have checked my bank account first, as if asking the business about its own receipts was out of line. He checked with what I assume is their main office, but his answers stayed unclear and left me more confused. Eventually he called back to say this is standard and I was only charged once. I'm glad I wasn't double charged. But there was no apology for the confusion and no acknowledgment that two "paid" receipts would confuse anyone. When I told him I wasn't happy with how he'd handled it, his response was that he hadn't cursed at me, so what was my problem? That says it all. Not cursing at a customer is not the standard for good service. A simple "sorry for the confusion, here's how our receipts work" would have been enough. As a first-time customer I didn't feel valued, and I won't be back.
