My seven year old pup does not like change, but this was a good one. She comes back to me looking great and feeling happy. Can't ask for better!

Henry was comfortable and did well with Amanda and wasn't running for the hills to get out of there upon pick up, which says a lot! The prices are reasonable as doodles are high maintenance dogs and doodle owners know this. Henry looked great and was fresh and clean. We are happy we found Shanti Canine Spa and we will be brining Henry here from now on!

If the employee or pet isn't doing well in this kind of environment, then they simply suggest new places for them to try out. Seems weird that I'd be saying this, right? Not really. You see, I'm a dog walker and have worked at two different companies. The first place I worked at, one if my fellow dog walkers was recommended to us by this place as they felt he'd do much better in a one-on-one situation rather than in a group environment. The place I currently walk for have gotten clients recommended to us from this place, as they felt group environment wasn't in the best interest for the dog(s) and that they're better off having one-on-one time while relaxing in the comfort of their own home! The next time you're looking for a place to walk your dog, be sure to ask Paws in Pinegree for any and all suggestions!

It was a little expensive…read morefor me, but let's face it, grooming is just expensive -- and Erin provided some services that I usually pay separately for at the vet. My little Havanese hates sitting in a cage waiting for us when we take him to the groomer, and I wanted to try having him groomed at home. This is what Rafi (my dog) and I have to say about the experience: fantastic! Rafi is usually slow to warm up to strangers and does NOT like it when I leave him anywhere. When Erin arrived, she came in and sat down with us for awhile. Rafi was staying very close to me acting a little anxious. I carried him out to the grooming truck. When I got ready to leave him, he looked alarmed. By the time Erin brought him back to the house, he was totally attached to her! He looked just as alarmed when she got ready to leave as he looked when I left him in the grooming truck. Haha! He ran to the door after her. Not to mention, his cut was adorable. He knew he was lookin' good and had a little swagger to his walk for days.

There is only one person at that place that I feel comfortable taking my dog to. I have watched the other groomers roughly handle dogs, right in front of me! Literally yanking them, like rag dolls. One time I was in, I watched as a dog yelped a few times, and the groomer just kept doing what they were doing, while expressing their displeasure for the dog's reaction. It made me uncomfortable to watch, but I really still trusted (and still do) the one lady who worked on my dog. Recently, the groomer that I trust left on maternity leave. And let's just say, there was no way I was going to use a different person there! After dragging my feet way too long, I ended up taking my dog to Clips 'n Wiggles. The wonderful woman that works there, immediately gave off a warm and friendly vibe, picking my dog up and showing her love when I asked how long it would take she said an hour to an hour and a half. It was hard for me to believe my ears! The other place would hold my dog for 4 to 6 hours. My husband had said that all along he thought my dog was probably just held in a cage, but I didn't know any better. Cut to an hour and fifteen minutes later, and my dog was ready for pick up. What was the total for her haircut, teeth brushing and nail trim?? $45!!! I thought I heard wrong. My dog looked and smelled great, and was not going crazy when I picked her up. Unlike every time I picked her up from the other place. This is clearly my new place! them
