Greenstar previously had done good work for me which is reflected in an earlier review…read more Unfortunately I can't figure out how to delete or edit that review. My most recent interaction has been a disaster. After several weeks of trying to set up an appointment, they finally showed up. Peter Masi, the owner, gives me a price for a "perfect" (his word) system. The price is pretty steep but I gave the okay to proceed. Then Masi comes back and wants more money than previously quoted. The money was said to be to repair an obvious defect that Masi saw, or should have seen, before the original quote and included in it. I told him I would honor his original commitment for a "perfect" system but not for additional repairs. He then sends me a bill for what little work had been done - and not done well - and hounds me for payment. When someone gets you in the door of the business by promising you something certain for a price certain and then comes back and demands more to complete what was originally promised that's very wrong. Buyer beware!

Day of work, they were on time, early morning actually, and had my home's exterior paint project done in 3 days. Workers were friendly, attentive and eager to please. Left no messes behind, took their time to prepare home for painting, pressure cleaning roof and walls first. Next day, made sure to tape windows and floors to prevent overspray or paint, caulked and repaired cracks, then went for it and finished the project fast and done right!!! I'm pleased and appreciate their nice work. Hopefully time will also prove the quality of their work. I upgraded the paint to Sherwin Williams Super paint so i certainly hope so. They also installed new porch lights and entrance pendant. Much appreciated. Will call them back for other work when needed. Have already recommended them to my neighbors. That's how you grow a company. Nice work guys!!

A few weeks ago I noticed the glaze on my tub was chipping. I reached out to my landlord, but they…read morewere having trouble finding someone to come fix it. I offered to find someone on my own and used the Yelp Request a Quote feature to reach out to several professionals in my area at once. William from Glorified Handyman replied so quickly, and after sending him photos of the issue with my tub I had a quote to get approved by my landlord within an hour of my request. Frank from William's team showed up at his scheduled time and I was immediately impressed with how organized he was. I've lived in my apartment since 2022 and this issue happened in June of 2024. The handyman that came to fix it back then came with so much less equipment than Frank so I was confident this pro knew what he was doing. One of my least favorite things about when people come to fix things is the mess they typically leave. Not Frank - he was extremely thoughtful about moving everything out of my bathroom, and completely covered the work area with towels / work mats as to leave as little mess as possible. In about two and a half hours I had a brand new looking re-glazed tub. It looks amazing and I am thinking with the detail he put into the work that this will last much longer than last time. The project ran me about $450 which I think is reasonable based on my research. They followed up after the work with an invoice and they take both credit card or zelle which is great. For most of my adulthood I've done the very Miami thing of of finding a handyman through word of mouth and have been met with varied degrees of reliability and quality of work. Not with this project! Going forward I'll be using the Glorified handyman services when I need to get a project done around my place.
