I would not recommend EZ General Contractor based on our experience…read more We scheduled a consultation with EZ General Contractor five days in advance and provided details about the project we were looking to have completed. My husband took the morning off work specifically to be home for the scheduled consultation. EZ General Contractor canceled the appointment 20 minutes after the scheduled arrival time, explaining that the project was "too small" for them to take on. We completely understand that contractors need to take on projects that make business sense for them. What is difficult to understand is why this could not have been determined during the five days between scheduling and the appointment, particularly since we provided as many project details in advance as was allowed through their automated platform. The lack of communication and professionalism was equally disappointing. Our phone conversations ended abruptly with them hanging up on us rather than with even a basic professional courtesy. We will obviously be using another contractor for this project. More importantly, based on this experience with EZ General Contractor's communication, scheduling, and professionalism, we would not consider them for future projects, including larger ones.

I originally found Blue Flamingo through google, they were quick to respond and scheduled a time to…read moredo both an estimate and then the work. They responded quickly and were on time on the scheduled date (January 12). There are two things that earned them the lower rating: -After the work was done. I noticed a broken tile on the front of the house, to which the employee responded that it was like that and pulled out a "pre-inspection" form for me to sign that shows six broken tiles. It's very convenient to present that after the work is done for them. I don't doubt that there was a couple of broken tiles, but the one on the front was not broken. -After the work was done, he informed me that I need to water my plants for 20 minutes a day for the next 6 weeks, or they will die. If i had known this before hand, i would have looked for other options. Overall they cleaned the areas they were supposed to. But i think the additional cost that I will incur to fix the broken tiles and the communication at the end rather than up front, earns them the poor rating.

This company had it all planned from beginning to end. We signed the contract and the wheels…read morestarted turning. JP kept us up to date on all the progress. The materials showed up Monday, the tear down and placement of the 30lb. paper was Tuesday, inspected on Wednesday then the shingles were placed on Thursday and Friday. We were able to entertain Saturday morning. Less than a week they were done with a majority of the work. They cleaned up everything for us to have out party on Saturday, which was very nice of them. They returned Monday to finish with some touch up painting of the soffit. I was worried because the price was so good to be true, but I can honestly say they were true to their word. I needed 5 sheets of plywood and over a hundred feet of fascia board. I was pleasantly surprised how little all that extra wood cost me. I attached pictures. JP worked with my gas guy who had to replace my stack and he was very accommodating. Anyone can feel free to contact me for a reference. I have nothing negative to say about this roof experience. I only hope JO Is still working there in 30 years when I replace this one. Thank you AJF Roofing, Alejo and JP. I love you guys.
