T-Mania is a custom T-shirt shop located right outside of Macy's in Lynnhaven Mall. After looking through the T-shirts that were displayed on the table, I didn't see the size that I needed so I asked if they had other sizes, and he quickly went to the back to grab it for me. He asked if he could see the graphic and gave me the email address to send it to. He then pulled it up on the computer, adjusted it to my liking and told us to return in about 20 minutes. As soon as we returned, he actually had two graphics printed out. He color corrected the graphic that I sent and asked which I preferred. I appreciated him doing that and I chose the graphic that looked the best. The T-shirt turned out great!!! If you're looking for any type of custom T-shirts, definitely stop in to T-Mania to get one created. We've come quite a few times and they always do great work!

It's on a very busy commercial side road and you will definitely pass it if you're not looking. The building is very old and they don't even have a sign out front. All the employees were very pleasant to work with and talk to. I started corresponding to order our next batch of Tshirts through email with Kathryn. We were given a quote, so I proceeded with the order. When the shirts came in we were given the invoice and couldn't believe the amount was $1000 over the quoted price. They did not account for half the shirts during the quote process and they were very apologetic. To be fair, they tried their best to rectify the situation, and actually took it down a bit, but we still paid over $1000 and above what we were wanting to pay. I'm not happy this happened, but customer service was on and for that I can overlook this, as long as it doesn't happen again.

I have trusted them with framing projects in the past and have always been satisfied, which makes this experience even more disappointing because the level of service appears to have declined significantly. At the time I dropped off my awards, I was told they were a little backed up and that the work would take approximately three weeks to complete. I also paid a $180 deposit to begin the work. After about a month without any communication, I went to the shop to check on the status of my order. I was told that they had received emergency or rush orders that took priority over mine. That explanation was frustrating because I had already paid a substantial deposit and expected my order to be completed in the timeframe I was given. By mid-June, I returned to check on my order again, and it was still not finished. During my next visit in the first week of July, I was given a different explanation. I was told that the frames had been on backorder, that they had recently arrived, and that my order would be completed by the end of the following week. After waiting nearly three more weeks, I returned to the shop today, only to be told that my frames were still not ready. It has now been almost three months since I entrusted this business with my awards, despite originally being quoted a three-week turnaround. What is most disappointing is not simply the delay, but the repeated changes in the explanation and the lack of proactive communication. Throughout this process, I have had to repeatedly visit the shop just to get updates. Being told that "it's just me behind the counter taking orders" does not justify a delay of nearly three months or excuse the failure to keep customers informed. If the original estimate was unrealistic, I should have been given an honest timeframe from the beginning. If unexpected issues arose, a simple phone call or email would have gone a long way. Instead, I have received multiple explanations, repeated promises that the work would be completed "next week," and still have not received the finished product. As a returning customer, this experience has been extremely disappointing. I chose this frame shop because of the quality of service I received in the past, but it seems that things have gone downhill. At this point, I expect a clear completion date and for the business to honor the commitment it made when it accepted my order and my deposit.

When the paddle was received, the plaque and pins were off center (see photos below). I contaced Mr. Orama for some information about how the paddle was assembled to try to find a vendor up here to correct. He told me to not contact him after 1530, even though he had texted me the previous evening for payment information. As no vendor would do the re-work, I had to ship the paddle back at my expense. When I received the re-done pannel, it had been sloppily packaged in re-used shipping material and a twice opened box. One of the warfare pins had detached during shipment, and had left scrapes all over the paddle (see below). Even when it was put back in place, the scratches were still visible and the spacing was still off. When I reached out to Mr. Orama about a refund, he refused to discuss it and told me to never call him again. It was very strange to have to explain to the owner of a military-themed gift shop that things like off-center alignment and scratches in the wood were a significant issue that needed to be addressed. Again, would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
