The dress may have been worth that amount but this was also for a high school dance. I should have said no and walked oit. I think they getnyou to commit by doing all the measuring and pinning before they tell you the price. Reminder: this was a gifted dress but we were hoping to keep costs low. Ive told my daughter that she has to use this for at least 5 more occassions! Dont't be afraid to walk out after they do all the measuring, pinning and chalking for lengrh. Dispute the price if you can. But I recommend going somewhere else or finding a friend to help.

They're pretty upfront with prices and you can opt-in/out of stuff. Service: So sweet and friendly. I came in with a large bridesmaid dress and they were truthful about telling me to get a new one as even with alterations, it wouldn't look as good. Value: Standard pricing as far as alteration places go. They do guarantee a 1 week turn around basically no matter what which is nice. Overall, would use again.

The biggest secret is the tailor behind the scenes. She is from Mongolia and worked in San Francisco for most of her career and has been a tailor for some major fashion brands.
