All tools look dirty or used even if they come out of a "plastic bag" making them look like they were sterilized - but there is no way they were. Ladies are rude and rough. Had a full set of nails done and they look terrible. They are all odd shapes and lengths. Some nails are slim and some are to wide for the nail. Very bad job - after pointing out this to the lady several times, she kept doing her thing and wouldn't listen. Then eventually she gave me the file for me to try fix them myself and she proceeded to sit there with her arms crossed while I tried to fix them. Don't go to this place. Rude employees, dirty, unhygienic, bad service and bad technique!!

I booked with Mai for the first time in hopes to get my nails done for my birthday this weekend…read more She sent me an email the day before my appointment asking me to confirm and change my phone number on my profile, so I confirmed and didn't know how to change my number through her website -- which I thought I could get her help with once I got to my appointment (because I confirmed my appointment through email). The next day I showed up for my appointment and we started my nails, 15 minutes later another client walked in stating she had an appointment. So, Mai checked her schedule and the booking was for the client that had just walked in. Mai began to yell at me about not changing my number and said that I didn't confirm my appointment so she cancelled it. I showed her my email and told her that I did confirm but she continued yelling about me not confirming. She stated that she thought I was fake or a scam because I didn't text her beforehand. I told her again that I confirmed through email. I apologized for the misunderstanding between us but she was still upset. She told me to move out of the chair and wait until she was done her client so I moved -- but, I was in shock about how she had just handled everything and how badly she treated me as a first time client. I've never been yelled at by any nail tech, lash tech, or hair stylist up until then. I told her I would pay her for work on my one hand and would leave but she told me just to wait and not to pay because she wasn't done. By that point I was holding back tears and just wanted to go home, so I told her I would leave and go back in 30 minutes but I never did end up returning because of how hurt I was by her behaviour. She was persistent on getting me to stay so I felt that I had to lie in order to leave. I myself am an eyelash technician and couldn't imagine ever treating any of my own clients that way, let alone first time clients. She lacks in professionalism. Moral of the story, if you are going to book with her for the first time make sure she texts you instead of emailing you. To her, you're not a confirmed client if you aren't texting. Do your best not to upset her either because she will yell and argue with you. I cried all the way to a salon where I got the work removed!
