I found out they dont have regular drivers to deliver which i aready know as they missed my deliveries several times each year still charging me. Their billing system hokey and if you get 6 pages after 6 yrs for only 2 yrs the years they stopped giving receipts even though i gave cash but not for the fu 6 yrs as i always paid cash and called before hand to segiving nevere how much) they charged me for days their delivery giving never came they stopped receipts giveing me receips a year and half ago but i still called to see how much always rounded my cash payments off to their benifit (i had heard from MANY others about their bills being over the amounts so did cash deliberately writing on the cash envelope how many returns for how many full and their amounts as per their sales agent totals as well.) Then they give me a bill for 84.73 wth i called she didnt even know what she was talking about couldnt comment on the amounts but saying the prices went up. I said your agent told me the amounts on the phone she said well they went up i said oh without telling your customer and how much at 84 i said you have deliveries on here where no one came to deliver as well she said no all delivered i said no not. I then i go to walmart to return the 5 empties at $10 each and they said no longer take their empties culligan gone and premo distilled water in...no wonder they did that they didnt want to deliver to midland as wal mart removed them probably for the same reason. MY FIRST SERVICE CALL: A couple years ago after much online…read moreinvestigation and multiple talks with Jack from Aquamart I decided to have them install a Kinetico water softener. I love the product and I would recommend it to anyone! Now anyone that has purchased anything we all know that the quality and professionalism is only truly tested when you have a problem and you need service or repair. Aquamart as a company was amazing! My first service call experience was exactly how customer service should be! Please continue reading as I go into details of what happened. From the first lady that answered the phone (sorry I didn't remember her name) on a Friday at 4:55pm and spent time helping troubleshoot my problem, all the way around to Jack that actually came to fix my problem! The first pleasant surprise was how much that wonderful lady knew as the first point of contact and that she was able to walk me through some tests and questions to make sure I needed a technician and couldn't fix it on my own. After we had determined I truly was in a pickle I couldn't get myself out of we scheduled a technician to come and fix it for me. Before that tech could come I got a call from Jack with more questions and an idea as to what my problem was. He asked if he could come instead of the tech because he was sure that the problem was with the salt I was using. He told me a couple things to do to prepare for his arrival which I gladly did. He arrived the next day exactly when he said he would and got to work. Turned out he was 100% correct about the salt issue however it had taken me a while to realize the problem and the issue snowballed into the entire head of the softener was all gummed up by calcium buildup because it wasn't working properly. Jack spent 1/2 a day cleaning and greasing to get my system back up and running. He was a wealth of information about the other filters I had running that were installed by other companies BEFORE I found Aquamart. I picked his brain while he worked and he was more than happy to help. He spent almost as much time explaining everything about my system then he did fixing it. I learned so much about how it operates, what to do if it isn't, what to look out for and best practices. Such a great experience I could not say enough good things about this company or the people that work there!

Great Service. There were a couple issues (post install) but they dealt with everything!read more

Having never owned a well water system before, I asked them to come and check out my system to make sure it was working correctly and help me understand how to maintain it. I expected that the very first step would be to test what was in our well water so they could determine what should be removed from it. Otherwise, how would they know what equipment we need or which settings to use?? They sent a guy named Dan or Stan--an older guy with glasses--who told me that the previous owners of our cottage had been very frugal (whatever that means); that I should add liquid chlorine to my chlorinator tank at 50% water + 50% x 12% liquid Cl; and that he had serviced our chlorinator in July of that year. Then he charged me $130 for this advice, several half answers, many shrugs, and 2 bags of salt. He told me that they can NOT test water at all, no matter what! A month later in November, our chlorinator backed up and flooded our basement with strong bleach from the chlorinator tank. I took it upon myself to service it this time as The Water Stop was clearly useless. My calculations based on recent water tests (see below), internet research and the specifications manual for my chlorinator pump tell me that I need to add 12% liCl to my tank at 1:100, so 700ml 12% liquid chlorine to 70 L water (not 1:1 !!), and to set my pump at 50% capacity, not full blast like Dan said. So, he was telling me (without testing my water) to use 200 times more chlorine than necessary. I have since been trying to get my softeners set properly (part of the reason for my initial service call). I emailed them but never got a response. I went in to get some advice and found this Dan guy again offering nothing more than shrugs, smiles and half answers. Talking to him feels like trying to get advice from a lawyer who is off the clock. He either doesn't care of doesn't understand what he's doing. Another time I visited the shop to buy more liquid chlorine (because Canadian Tire doesn't sell it) and there was a woman working at The Water Stop who's only answer to every question is "you'll have to talk to a technician", except for one useful piece of information: they DO test water after all! Facepalm. On my most recent visit I encountered a different employee for the first time, Don, who was the most helpful and courteous person I've encountered in a long time anywhere. He tested my water, answered my questions, gave me some excellent advice and made my day. Thanks again, Don! So, if you visit The Water Stop, deal with Don or never mind.

Two years + of excuses, no-shows, zero resolution, and a lot of wasted water and increased costs…read morefor our family! If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Nearly two years ago, I hired Greenfield Furnace and Air to replace a high-end tankless water heater in my home. I had clearly explained I needed a model with instant hot water access (as my previous unit had a recirculation pump). They recommended a cheaper unit, assuring me it would perform just as well--even citing that they used the same one in their own 4,000 sq. ft. home. It didn't. From day one, it took 25-30 seconds to get hot water to any tap. That means wasted water before every shower, bath, and dishwashing cycle for our family of four--something I raised with them a week after installation. Chris promised that if it didn't meet our needs, they'd replace it (as I had informed them prior to install, that if it didn't meet our needs based on their recommendation, I would expect them to take care of it, and they agreed!) He's repeated that promise multiple times over the past two years, even offering to swap it for a fee (which I agreed to). Still no replacement. I've had: * Multiple no-shows for scheduled service calls (with no explanation, communications or apology) * Months of ignored texts, calls, and emails * Chris only replying when I called from unknown phone numbers * A 33% spike in water bills (year-over-year) due to the delay in hot water delivery * A promise of furnace servicing (as part of an extension to the manufacturer warranty) that they never honored the service. * A claim that they contacted the manufacturer for support--Navien later confirmed they didn't. After all this time, I still don't have a solution, and they've gone silent yet again. What started as a trusting relationship turned into an exhausting, unprofessional runaround. If you're considering using Greenfield, ask yourself this: Are you prepared to chase them for 2 years just to get what you paid for? Their initial installation work was fine--but customer service, product recommendations, and follow-through have been nothing short of appalling. This is after their owner Chris stood in my house even as recent as April 2025, stated that they dropped the ball and that they wanted to "rest the relationship and move forward", to which we agreed! As someone who trusted this local business, I'm deeply disappointed and feel compelled to warn others: They do not stand by their word! Happy to provide supporting documentation to anyone Don't believe me? Happy to provide EVERY TEXT Message, Call records, emails, and even most recently a recorded call, which again highlights their promise to follow up in a few days, and it's now been 2 months! To Chris and his team: I've left you once last message today, June 12th ,2024 (4 months after you had initially promised to get me a replacement water heater within a week, and you didn't, and 2 months since you talked to me on a recorded call and stated that you had a different solution and you'll email me it and get it ordered and installed, and you didn't) and you have until the end of July to resolve this, which is VERY generous time wise. You have left me no choice but to share our experience publicly. And one last quick note, you kept telling me how busy you are during our last call... If you're too busy to help your customers, you're doing some wrong! Especially when all they are asking you to do is keep your promise! Chris: If you're too busy to honour your word, you're too busy to be in this business.
