Two years + of excuses, no-shows, zero resolution, and a lot of wasted water and increased costs…read morefor our family! If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Nearly two years ago, I hired Greenfield Furnace and Air to replace a high-end tankless water heater in my home. I had clearly explained I needed a model with instant hot water access (as my previous unit had a recirculation pump). They recommended a cheaper unit, assuring me it would perform just as well--even citing that they used the same one in their own 4,000 sq. ft. home. It didn't. From day one, it took 25-30 seconds to get hot water to any tap. That means wasted water before every shower, bath, and dishwashing cycle for our family of four--something I raised with them a week after installation. Chris promised that if it didn't meet our needs, they'd replace it (as I had informed them prior to install, that if it didn't meet our needs based on their recommendation, I would expect them to take care of it, and they agreed!) He's repeated that promise multiple times over the past two years, even offering to swap it for a fee (which I agreed to). Still no replacement. I've had: * Multiple no-shows for scheduled service calls (with no explanation, communications or apology) * Months of ignored texts, calls, and emails * Chris only replying when I called from unknown phone numbers * A 33% spike in water bills (year-over-year) due to the delay in hot water delivery * A promise of furnace servicing (as part of an extension to the manufacturer warranty) that they never honored the service. * A claim that they contacted the manufacturer for support--Navien later confirmed they didn't. After all this time, I still don't have a solution, and they've gone silent yet again. What started as a trusting relationship turned into an exhausting, unprofessional runaround. If you're considering using Greenfield, ask yourself this: Are you prepared to chase them for 2 years just to get what you paid for? Their initial installation work was fine--but customer service, product recommendations, and follow-through have been nothing short of appalling. This is after their owner Chris stood in my house even as recent as April 2025, stated that they dropped the ball and that they wanted to "rest the relationship and move forward", to which we agreed! As someone who trusted this local business, I'm deeply disappointed and feel compelled to warn others: They do not stand by their word! Happy to provide supporting documentation to anyone Don't believe me? Happy to provide EVERY TEXT Message, Call records, emails, and even most recently a recorded call, which again highlights their promise to follow up in a few days, and it's now been 2 months! To Chris and his team: I've left you once last message today, June 12th ,2024 (4 months after you had initially promised to get me a replacement water heater within a week, and you didn't, and 2 months since you talked to me on a recorded call and stated that you had a different solution and you'll email me it and get it ordered and installed, and you didn't) and you have until the end of July to resolve this, which is VERY generous time wise. You have left me no choice but to share our experience publicly. And one last quick note, you kept telling me how busy you are during our last call... If you're too busy to help your customers, you're doing some wrong! Especially when all they are asking you to do is keep your promise! Chris: If you're too busy to honour your word, you're too busy to be in this business.

Our hot water tanks was leaking and within three hours of a phone call, it had been replaced and…read moreeverything was back to normal. The problem was analyzed quickly via photos over text messages and the crew was friendly, courteous and efficient. We have dealt with this company for several years and have always been happy with the service and pricing. We would highly recommend them.
