I can't even say enough good things about this company. Several years we had our chimney cleaned and Jimmy did a terrific job. It looked brand new when he finished! We also used him for our air conditioning units...today. Last night I called, once I realized one unit wasn't cooling and it was freezing up outside-ice was forming. I called and the sweetest lady, Connie, was so understanding and did everything possible to get me on the schedule. Jimmy came out this morning and filled it with freon and cleaned both units. I wanted some education on the subject, so I hung out with him, which he didn't mind at all. So if you get the chance to hang out and talk, and actually see exactly what he does and how hard working and professional he is, do it. He takes his time, does a thorough job. 3 years ago when we first moved into our 22 year old house, our neighbors recommended Jimmy for the initial chimney inspection/sweep and we have used him ever since! You won't find anyone more honest or reliable! Most recently our heater went out. He came out to diagnose it the very same day I called (mind you he is BUSY this time of year) and made sure we were scheduled ASAP for the replacement (our heater was probably just as old as the house) He does whatever he can to service you as fast as he can so you are the least uncomfortable that you can be. Jimmy and Connie are excellent! Connie provided exceptional customer service during the set up of our appointment and assistance during the run up to the visit. Jimmy and his helper were terrific: professional, friendly, expert, focused on our needs. They left our fireplace and the area around it as clean (or cleaner!) than it was when they arrived. Our 16-year-old furnace and A/C were starting to go out so we decided to replace both. Custom Chimney Heating & Air was recommended by a friend. Jimmy quickly evaluated our house and it seems he finally got everything sized right. The old underpowered rigs never did the job - our big clerestory windows and old leaky window and door frames kept us too hot in summer and too chilly all winter. Jimmy's a super-nice person and a perfectionist in his work - he fixed the sloppy work of prior HVAC contractors. Incredibly good customer service after the sale. We have had Jimmy relocate our dryer vent for better efficiency. He sweeps out the dryer vent yearly. He installed gas logs in both our home and cabin. He installed two new air conditioning units and one heater in our son's home. He now services our cabin and our daughter and son-in-laws units. Jimmy has been our chimney cleaner for years so when it came time to get a new air/heat system he was the one I called. We had a plan in advanced since he serviced our air conditioner in the Spring. One day the compressor called it quits. Jimmy was there immediately, supplied us with 2 window units to keep house cool in 90 degree temps. He had our new heat & air system in with in a few days. Jimmy and Lance came out to fix what we thought was a key valve leak. Come to find out the original installer of the gas logs had not properly completed the install.
