I have seen awnings made by another company, and they sag on the side, and just don't have the good, tight fit that Nicewonger's do. Their service is excellent, and they come within a couple weeks after your request, to hang them. Other companies sometimes make you wait six weeks to put them up. Nicewonger gives top priority to the customers who have had their awnings made by them. You may pay a little more, but if you want awnings that look great, last for many years, and like good service, this is the place to call!

When I had a complicated job another company came up with a large canvas funnel that was unsightly, but Waugaman figure it out quickly and came up with a great proposal. Today, March 26, 2020, I had my new awning placed. And, I couldn't be happier. I went through the process with Mike, the owner. He came to the house a few times to speak to me and show me the book of fabrics. Mike was just great. He understood what I needed and that the awning needed to be adjusted for my very tall husband. When the crew came today to do the work, I was pleasantly surprised with their professionalism! They spoke kindly and worked tidy. I wasn't uncomfortable being home with only my kids while strange men installed my awning. We've purchased several awnings for our deck over the past 27 years from other companies and this is our 4th Awning that we purchased from Neilly Canvas Goods Company. The owner, Les Neilly, came out to our home during the peak of his busy season and patiently sat down with us as we looked through several sample books to find the perfect awning for our home. He had more choices than any other awning company we worked with in the past. And Les truly knows his trade!! He listened patiently to what we wanted and guided us on choosing the perfect awning fabric and trim... While he was at our home, he noticed that the pitch of our awning was too flat and it caused our old awning to sag a bit in the middle ~ so he also made the necessary adjustments to the frame which made the new awning pitch and fit perfect!!! (...no other company we've worked with ever mentioned that they could adjust the existing frame the way Les did ~ we were always told we would have to invest in a whole new frame!) Les personally came out to our home several times to measure and make sure the adjustments were done correctly ~ he really takes great pride in his work! We were in a hurry to get the awning installed because we were having a party in our home the following month. It was their busy season and although they were jammed with orders, Les promised he would do his best to meet the deadline. Well, he not only was helping to install our BEAUTIFUL awning ~ he made sure it was installed before our party‼ AND ~ they called us when the season was over to schedule to remove and store our awning for the winter!!!
