It's a major brand tire sold under the Pep Boys name which adequate for daily use. We had an 815 o'clock appointment and we were taken in promptly. Our car was ready by 10:45. The front desk personnel were pleasant and very helpful especially Frank. We believe the price for the Pennsylvania state inspection and for the tire replacement were good. Despite my general distrust, I could not be more pleased! JC charged me $116 for a full inspection and an oil change. They didn't try to upsell me one bit. After about an hour or 2 Bill called me from Stirling and told me that they had to replace the tire because the damage was too severe. The next morning the new tire had arrived and they installed it. When I got home I could smell something burning under my car. I called the local Ford dealer (who has been servicing my vehicle for 10 years). They told me they were too busy and could schedule me the next Friday (a week away). They had inspected my vehicle in July and apparently didn't check the brakes!
