I have never had a single negative experience while under his care, and have not once caught him in a bad mood. He is genuinely concerned about his patients, and I've seen him handle the crankiest of kids with a smile (I hope I was not one of them). When I was looking for an oral surgeon to take my wisdom teeth out, or an orthodontist to potentially get braces, Dr. Keilson would make recommendations based on my convenience and never to make some sort of referral bonus. He always has his patients' interests at heart, lays out the pros/cons of performing a procedure, and never forces anything upon anyone. In my mind, he exemplifies everything that a health care professional should strive to be. Apart from that, the office is nice and has toys to keep the kids occupied. The staff is warm, receptive, and very professional. And the appointment schedule is very flexible and open on Saturdays as well. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Keilson to any parent who wants their children to have proper dental hygiene.

They used to bake cookies and send you home with a bag of goodies. Now they have replaced those cookies with healthy fruits like bananas and hey its not cookies, but they're really good for you. Came to Szymanowski for a second opinion. Was told by first opinion we needed two stages of bracing. The Syzmanowski group said her jaw is young and will developmentally grow to allow for the teeth coming in. Sure enough X-rays 14 months later ended up exactly how they described. Now we are en route to only one stage of orthodontics in the future. This saved our child 1 full stage of hardware and associated pain. Saved us, the parents, a great big deal of money and appointments. They are doing the right thing. Hard to come by in today's world. They might not make as much as the orthodontist offering multistage interventions, but I bet they sleep with a sound mind.

He also had a staff that was quite thorough and careful throughout record taking. I ended up needing 2 phases due to my severe class 3 jaw. So I saw them for 1-2 yrs at 8-10 and 2-3 yrs from 16-18. I needed an expander and reverse pull headgear as a child and then braces as a teenager and surgery at the tail end of braces. This seems like such a huge commitment but they made it feel like a breeze, so glad my parents found them. Years later and I ended up becoming an orthodontic assistant - I now work at Alexander and Martin Orthodontics. I lost the qr code that had all their info. I think her name was Jennifer. I might be wrong. The assistant that got me set up was Melisa ( one S) she was very nice. The personification of customer service. She really helped put me at ease. The doctor was great, he was reassuring and nice. I didn't think he was pushy. I think it's his job to educate people and there have been a lot of connections with poor oral hygiene and health issues. I hadn't been to the dentist in 8 years because I have very very very bad anxiety and ocd. That being said the hygienist Amanda was great. Full disclosure i had a terrible panic attack. Nothing to do with her, she did amazing. She was reassuring, gentle and very professional. Just my own brain rebeling against me.
