However the dental assist, Wendy who took the X-rays was very fast to get them done. She also had a friendly joking personality that helped me to calm down. when it came time to the shot it didn't even hurt! It took a while to give but I guess that's dr jasmines technique and it worked. I could feel a little pressure during the injection but that was all. Now I just need to go see the hygienist that is there Tuesday's and Thursday's. Her name is Jacqui and I've been told she's real easy to talk to and her cleanings are very thorough but also gentle which really is the perfect balance. Thank you dr jasmine and staff!

I was unaware that they had sold their practice until my appointment last week. The front staff were the same (and I love them!), but there were new hygienists and Dr. Bautista is the new doctor. This was the second worst experience I have had at the dentist. I was in the chair for nearly an hour for just a routine cleaning. The hygienist was relentless during my cleaning and I felt like I was choking on the water and suction tool. I told her that about 5 minutes into the prophy, but she continued and ignored my cues that I needed to swallow or spit out the water. Finally, I asked her to stop. Dr. Bautista's exam was hurried and rough. He tried to sell me on getting braces, essentially to make the cleaning process easier. I have never had a dentist tell me I needed braces. I asked him about teeth whitening. He said it was more of an issue of pigmentation. That because I was pale skinned, my teeth look darker and "that is why Black people's teeth always pop". I could not believe he actually said that. I will be finding a new dentist.

The Dr did a good job, but my confidence in how they run the office was ruined when they mixed up the times of our appointments twice, then insisted on billing for the remainder of a procedure that had been done a year before under the previous dentist. That dentist had closed out the books, saying the bill was covered by what we'd already paid plus insurance. To collect from a different dentist, a year afterwards seemed very sketchy.

Now realizing if i had come in, he might have have given me time for the numbing cream to kick-in or when he gave me four shots. Later he shots wore off. Most dentists offices let the pain shots kick in too. He barely said hello. and when it was over he said "got to go?" Regardless his assistant should have given me the the numbing cream while i was outside waiting to be called in. Here comes the bad part. I wished they gave me a Valium or lorazepam or something. He works with a chisel, a hammer, and a plier. I was yelping pretty loud because nothing had kicked in. A couple of time s he asked "why are you feeling pain and or you shouldn't be feeling pain"? If my mouth did not have a sponge device to keep my mouth open i would have said something horrible or i might have slapped him. No compassion at all. Someone should have explained to me that coming in t 1130 i would not benefit from the pain shots or numbing. These new millennium doctors like to inflict pain in the worse way without any compassion. What is wrong with today's doctors and the. new millenium kids? Now irt is 7:20 and my ears hurts from the bannging of the hammer he used. I felt during the whole 50 minute ordeal maybe 20 tops was overly excruciating pain. The worst part is there is no bedside manners. I prefer doctors in their late 40s early 50s because they know how to take care of patients.. if he thinks he's gonna make it on his good luck, forget it. I don't judge people by the judge people about their talents, especially when you're paying money for it. I'm not sure if I even wanna have my dental implants done there. That was a bad experience for me. If I can give him a zero I would give him a dessert based on today.

They are honest professionals…read more Be very weary of orthodontists that explain the need for procedures for your growing child so that they may not need further procedures in the future. Came to Szymanowski for a second opinion. Was told by first opinion we needed two stages of bracing. The Syzmanowski group said her jaw is young and will developmentally grow to allow for the teeth coming in. Sure enough X-rays 14 months later ended up exactly how they described. Now we are en route to only one stage of orthodontics in the future. This saved our child 1 full stage of hardware and associated pain. Saved us, the parents, a great big deal of money and appointments. They are doing the right thing. Hard to come by in today's world. They might not make as much as the orthodontist offering multistage interventions, but I bet they sleep with a sound mind.
