He contradicted himself from one visit to another, seemed not to remember his initial diagnosis and advice and made several comments that bordered on inappropriate. Over the years I've seen all kinds of chiropractors, and Curtis is the best. He isn't a bone cruncher, but he is able to gently align bones when needed. He prescribes exercises and does all he can to discharge patients asap instead of getting you hooked into a regular "maintenance" adjustments that you may not need. He can innately find problems that I did not even realize were there and are root cause of long lingering issues. My first experience was several years ago when first was introduced. Had been to many modalities for numb fingers on my left hand and pain in my left arm. After a short time of doing some basic body checks Dr. Turchin gave me the diagnosis of a disc issue in my neck, soft touch adjustments and exercise/remedy for the issues, two years later I am much better. I never would have gone to a chiropractor, but I had some nagging joint problems that were limiting my activities and some friends highly recommended Dr. Turchin. They said that he wasn't a bone cruncher, but used subtle pressure to help balance the body. On my first visit, he eliminated pain in one joint and gave me exercises to do at home that restored full range of movement over the next couple of weeks - it felt like magic, but the results have lasted months and I've had no pain or stiffness. I've seen him a couple times since for help with other joints - each time he uses gentle pressure and gives me home exercises.
