Josh was great at educating me about the importance and necessity of spinal health. I had never visited a chiropractor before so I was worried but Josh made me feel completely safe. I am definitely going back. I definitely felt better after leaving, and I trust that Josh will make me feel even better with my next visits. I recommend Josh to anyone wondering about how a simple chiropractic visit can benefit their health. He'll make you feel welcomed and cared for. read more

Joshua Knowles is so knowledgeable and has completely transformed not only my body, but the way that I carry myself through the day. He helped me make small changes to posture and daily life that has made huge differences. His adjustments always leave me feeling like a new person. Not only has my shoulder/neck pain dissipated, but I have more energy and am sleeping better as well. Whenever I am in, he has diagrams, skeletons, and bones to help show me exactly what is going on in my body which is helpful for me to understand as a visual learner. The office itself is very clean and has a good energy about it. I always have fun conversations with Joshua and Dr. Jake. Very easy parking and convenient location as well. Just book it! You won't regret it. read more

I saw a different chiropractor for over six months and my lower back just kept getting worse and worse and worse. On a lark, I decided to try Dr Joshua Knowles. Best decision I made in a long long time. My pain doctor was suggesting nerve ablation, but I went to Dr. Knowles and one visit to him in my back was appreciatively better I see him on a regular basis now and I can do things I wasn't able to do for over a year. Now I can roll over in bed Walk for more than a block. Get my housework done without being an agony. I'm nearly pain-free within a month and a half a first coming to Dr. Knowles He's so devoted to helping people. He's an upbeat, fun and sweet personality and takes his patients health so seriously. I've been to other chiropractors where they don't even check you out, don't palpate your spine. Just do the same adjustment exactly the same way every time Dr. Knowles is very attentive. He keeps his price as affordable too I'm so grateful that I found him! read more

As a pickleball player, I deal with various leg issues, with my plantaris calf muscle giving me the most trouble. My regular chiropractor back home performs the exact same routine regardless of whether I complain about my back, wrist, or knee, spending five minutes tops before moving to the next patient. While visiting my fiancé in Santa Rosa, my calf became so inflamed that my mobility was significantly affected. I couldn't wait until I got home for treatment, and I was surprised to find a chiropractor available on a Saturday. Joshua saw me as a walk-in with no problem. He reached the same conclusion as my regular chiropractor but used a different treatment sequence. Throughout the session, he gave me a broader picture of my nervous system rather than just focusing on the injury site. Thanks to this new knowledge, I've changed my approach to my court movement and--knock on wood--have been 100% ever since. read more

No appointments necessary so they can fit any schedule. Great care and knowledgeable.

I have been seeing Dr. Josh for 3 years now. I have been a programmer working on computers for all of my adult life and he has helped me get my posture, back, and neck back to healthy conditions. Such great results that both of my adult kids are using him as well. All of our overall health has improved and set us on a path of caring more for our bodies. Highly recomend! read more

Being a Yoga and Alexander Technique teacher, I am selective about who I work with on body issues. Joshua is extremely knowledgeable and meticulous in his work with me. He asks the body what it needs (by palpating first), checks responses of the nervous system repeatedly BEFORE asking for change in the body. These are the qualities of an excellent, experienced, and well grounded guide. read more

Joshua has helped me so much in being able to do what I love most and what I do for a living. As a Pilates instructor I started experiencing back pain and soreness that would not go away and with Joshua's help and so much knowledge about what was happening and what I could do for myself I now feel better than ever! I am also a long time sufferer of migraines and severe headaches and since coming to see Josh on a consistent schedule I have had maybe one or two in a month when I was getting at least one every week. I am so grateful for the Chiropractic Center and especially Joshua! read more

I went to see Dr.Jake a handful of times when I had my carpal tunnel issues last year. I had very tight shoulders with neck and back pain. He relieved my pain and I left feeling like I could breathe better. The last time I was there was Dec 18, 2020. I had an appt at 1230 PM and when I arrived there was a sign on the door that said Closed and I didnt know why. I was not provided a call or email. I havent gone back since. Felt like they shouldve notified me before I went all the way there. read more

Why didn't I do this years ago! I admittedly did not believe in chiropractic care, but my friend from CrossFit was going after class and I figured why not give it a try since my lower back has been bothering and no amount of foam rolling, stretching, epson salt baths or massages seemed to help. Plus I felt like one leg was shorter than the other when I was jogging. I walked in with pain and walked out with none! Even if this is temporary and my body reverts back the temporary relief from back pain is worth it! Truly wish I saw a chiropractor years ago and this Dr. is great! Super friendly and clearly knows what he's doing. Just go! read more

Dr. Jake is a healer! Every time I have an adjustment, I feel immediate relief! It's so easy to book an appointment with him and his treatments are very affordable even without insurance. His team is so helpful and friendly. I'm so happy to have found The Chiropractic Center! read more

Love Doctor Jake. My chiropractic treatment is totally essential to my health. Thank you for being there and all the care you take to keep us all safe. So important! Cannot function without it. read more

I can't say enough about Jake. I've been going to the same chiropractor for 10 years and then he relocated out of the state. I was worried about finding someone who would take the time to work on my back like my previous chiropractor. Well, I called on a Saturday morning, Jake told me to come on in. As I sat in the lobby I started talking to the woman sitting next to me. She told me she drives from Reno to have him work on her neck pain. Once Jake completed treatment on my back I could see why one would drive a great distance for his service, this guy is incredible at his profession, a easy going, and incredible pricing for the service. I highly recommend Jake, you won't be disappointed! Do your back a favor and give him a shot! read more

Jake is one of the only people I trust with my spine, and he's occasionally funny to boot.

Dr Jake is the BOMB. I am a nurse and my ribs get misplaced fairly too often. To the point that I am in terrible pain and can barely breathe. I recently had an injury and being that I was out of town I went to a chiropractor elsewhere. Although this other chiropractor helped, I still had this nagging tightness, discomfort and limited range of motion. I made an apt. as soon as I got back home, and he worked his magic again. I am now pain free. Highly recommend him. He is super fun to talk to as well. read more

I have been in search for a new chiropractor for a while. Since my last chiropractor used to twist my head like I was an owl, I was apprehensive and some what fearful to get adjusted. I walked into several chiropractic offices today for meet and greets. When I walked into Jake's office, I noticed friendly, welcoming and warm faces. The open flowing atmosphere was pleasant. Dr. Jake came highly recommend by a client of mine, fb-ers and other yelpers. Jake spent about 40 minutes with me. Going over my history, asking me plenty of questions, addressing my concerns and needs. I can honestly say, compared to my last chiropractor, this is the most I have ever felt relaxed. Making me feel totally at ease. I trusted someone I had just met. He let me relax (for up to 10 minutes) and got to know my spine as I layed there face down. We went through the whole process very slowly. And he walked me through every step we took. When we got to my fear of the neck, he was so gentle. That all of my fear just let go and went out the window. He is a different style my last chiropractor was. He is definitely the style that I was looking for. read more

Dr Jake has been my staple, go, to chiropractor since 2005. Not only is he well educated, he is a stand up person, talented and an amazing doctor. He is always upbeat and positive and has a great attitude towards life. His patients love him because of his honesty, care, humor and follow through. His office is always clean and presentable. The open office concept, makes going to a chiropractic office a community experience, rather than a closed-door, overly private one. Dr Jake is always talking to people in the office, as a way to connect and make everyone feel seen and cared for! read more

Dr. Jake Quihuis is a remarkable individual and chiropractor. Very down to earth, compassionate, and caring. I have seen several chiropractors over my lifetime, and Dr. Jake is by far the most intuitive, patient centric, healthcare professional I have met. He spends a generous amount of time with each patient and strives to learn, understand, and treat each patient as an individual with unique needs. I have been amazed at his ability to assess patient healthcare needs by watching them walk through the door. Before I could state what my chiropractic concerns were, he verbalized them based on my body movement. His ability to palpate and feel where the body is out of alignment is uncanny, and reflects profound interest in his work, his patients, and his many years of chiropractic experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jake and his clinic. read more

Just got back from a great apt with Dr. Jake. He found the problems in my mid back and neck and adjusted them carefully but thoroughly. I like his upbeat attitude, and the flat rate and open office set-up. I left feeling really well cared for. The flat rate really works for me, as I've had chiropractors in the past add on little treatments that would add on to the bill....and I was never sure if they were really needed...and never sure what my bill would be. I had a few unpleasant shocks that way. With Dr. Jake I feel I'm getting just what I need, no more and no less. Also, he's a super nice guy! read more

Jake is awesome. He makes his personality , style and and every man quality uncommon in his profession. Maintains a personal relationship with clients and gives you a relaxing environment to relieve pain, stress and tension. I have been going to Dr.Jake for years, and every time I leave his office I feel like a new person! I waited far too long this time and was beginning to think the low back and hip pain I was living with was my new normal. I went in on Monday (love that he is walk-in as I hate waiting and hate making appts). I was seen right away. I explained my issues. He assessed me, adjusted me and I skipped out feeling amazing! Anyone who is skeptical about Chiropractors should see Dr. Jake. He listens to your fears and explains everything! read more

Been going to Dr Jake for a long time... this is well overdue. You got an authentic stand up guy here who knows his stuff. Always leave feeling better then when I arrived and he has always worked with me even when times have been tough. They even gave me a gift certificate for 5 visits recently when my house burned down. Thanks Jake! read more

I've been to a number of different chiropractors over the past 12 years throughout the north and south bay areas, and am most happy with Dr. Jake. I'm a larger than average person, and am happy that Dr. Jake is strong enough to be able to adjust me, while without being too forceful (I've had a number of chiros adjust me too hard and to the point where I was injured). My girlfriend and her family (including several children) also go to Dr. Jake, and have found his treatment very effective. I also appreciate that he actually listens when I come in instead of giving me a cookie cutter treatment that I may or may not still need. Also helpful is his use of different treatment modalities: while I don't know the names of everything, he uses different stretching, pulling, cold laser, massage, and chiropractic techniques. He's a laid back, humorous, friendly and approachable guy, too. read more

Our daughter is a level6 gymnast and is coming regularly to Dr. Jake. He is very knowledgable. We love that we don't need an appointment and can walk in. He is a big help if you are active in sports without paying a fortune. read more

Brought my 16 year old son in for a back injury. I was hesitant at first, since I've never been to a chiropractor, but soooo happy Jake worked on him. He said he works on many teens with injuries related to sports. My son felt great within 2 days and was ready to participate in track. Love the fact that it is a walk-in clinic. read more

The Chiropractic Center is everything I look for when getting treatment. Injuries, tightness, etc don't happen on a schedule. That is why it is so important that you can drop-in whenever you need treatment. No waiting days or weeks for treatment you need NOW. Dr. Jake also knows how to take care of active people; people who use their body on a daily basis playing sports, running, etc. Athletes and active people take a special touch to work on as our bodies go through more than the average person. Dr. Jake is an athlete himself so he understands and knows how to treat athletes so we can spend less time I hired/hurt and more time training and competing. The Chiropractic Center has a warm, inviting atmosphere that you would expect from a local business run by a local guy. However, the Chiropractic Center is also extremely professional and works hard to earn your business, keep your business, and make you healthy. I highly recommend the Chiropractic Center and Dem Jake's services. read more

I have been to about 1/2 a dozen chiropractors in the last 12 years. Dr Jake is certainly as good at his craft as any I have been to. His initial exam was more thorough. He is strong enough that he can manipulate any sized person fairly easily. He also does work on a bunch of fairly serious athletes and it shows in how he manipulates you. I left the first session feeling great. Not only was the service top notch, the *exceptionally* low BS factor at the office makes the visit painless and efficient. Many (most) chiropractors require an appointment and then make you wait 10-20 minutes anyway. Here you drop in, get done and get on your way. Very nice. I highly recommend this business. read more

I used to visit another chiropractor locally for years and finally got tired of always waiting in his office and not getting any easy appointments that met my schedule. I started to float between chiropractors for about a year and finally found Dr. Jake. He's awesome. Really good and really professional... with a little home town home grown character. His drop in clinic has great hours and I never have to call for an appointment! Give this guy a chance. read more

I've been to see Dr. Jake several times. He's always friendly, has a great memory for people, and is a great chiropractor. I came in after getting rear ended, and he checked me out, and made sure that everything was looking ok. I felt a lot better after just a few sessions with him, and the billing process was totally simple, and the services are very reasonably priced. read more

Jake gets it done! Considerate and thorough just what I need when I am in pain or just need a tuneup! Love being able to just drop in!!!!

Dr. Jake is a really nice guy. I've been going to him for adjustments for about 2 years now. I go in about once every 3-4 weeks. He takes walk-ins, so it's really convenient for me. Their waiting room is comfortable, but even though he has a lot of patients, the wait time is never long. The office has a very laid back atmosphere, and his staff is really nice. I would definitely recommend. read more

I have been seeing Jake for about 5 years, and he is keeping me and my back in great shape. When I busted my ankle, he came to do Cold Lazer on it and it healed in record time (3 weeks!). Busted coxycc, no problem, went straight from the hospital ER to Jakes office. He adjusted it and it healed well. Many people have life-long pain from that type of injury. Glad I saw Jake. Upbeat doesn't begin to describe the office atmosphere, no stodgy waiting rooms and uptight staff. No matter what your mood when you arrive, you are sure to be happier when you leave! Jake gets all my stars. Oh, and I didn't even mention that he has free core exercise classes for his patients, so that we can stay strong and well for a lifetime! read more

WOW! Dr. Jake is awesome. I've been trying to find a chiropractor that is easy to get into see and one that actually works for about 5 years now. I've tried 3 chiropractors in Petaluma and 1 in Santa Rosa before finding Dr. Jake. I live in Rohnert Park and am willing to drive 15 minutes to see a chiropractor that works! Everytime I go to see him I feel better! I never have to make an appointment which is a huge bonus and he always goes out of his way to provide good customer service. It's the first time I've ever left a chiropractic office feeling like I've made a friend who actually cares about me and one that actually made me feel better. I've got my wife going now and refer everyone I know to him. He's super affordable, works with insurance and is really knowledgable. AND NO, he didn't pay me to write this testimonial! It's totally authentic. You should check out his website for more information. www.ChiropracticCenterSantaRosa.com read more
