It has every Muay Thai tool available from long bags, short bags, speed bags, tires and much much more. The real kicker is the awesome ring. It really gives me a feel for what it would be like to prep for a promotion or an event. The whole atmosphere makes me feel at ease and ready to practice. Kenny is a very knowledgeable, educated, and experienced Athlete/Coach. I have never once felt not ready or rushed and he definitely knows how to spot a client's teachable moments. Working on speed is a hard thing for me but Kenny makes the classes and trainings flow. My training has been tailored to my needs and fitness level, with adjustments as skill and fitness increase. Everyone has been great, and I've interacted with several of the coaches and the owner Beau. I've experienced nothing but kindness and helpfulnes. I haven't taken the BJJ classes, but I am a BJJ purple belt and have observed the classes and instructor(s) there. It's solid, fundamental BJJ and the safety of the students is emphasized. I've seen a couple negative reviews, specifically commenting on people being rude or the environment being dangerous for beginners, and to me that's frankly ridiculous and makes me quite suspicious of the reviewers themselves. Especially the one by "Janice C." who claims she trained Muay Thai in Thailand and was somehow concerned by the practices at Fight Syndicate. That's a fairly laughable claim; the Thai's train brutally hard. Emphasis on "brutal". I am a recreational fighter, and the training has been well suited to my recreational intent. I'll work hard, but nothing like you'd see at a Thai camp and I've never once been hurt or put in a situation where I felt at risk of being hurt.

I can't say enough on how Dan Henderson's gym improved my boys life. My boys went from timid,…read moreuncoordinated, scared of everything even a ball, very soft boys to Confident, motivated and strong boys. The gym affected every area in their life. They can play dodgeball and kickball which they couldn't before. They don't get bullied anymore and still are able to keep their kind and gentle demeanor. It wasn't easy at first they hated the gym the 1st, 5 months but I told them, they had to give it a year. Now they love the gym and they are so happy have the skills set. They are still white belts and will probably never be fighters but they are no longer cowards. The atmosphere is a close group who all are very kind, and patient, yet the best of the best fighters who are tough but humble. Love the coaches Joe, Sam, Trevor, Louie all of these guys do a great job encouraging these kids. If you have a kid who is weak, scared of a ball, completely uncoordinated, take them to Dan's give it a year make them go faithfully at least 2x a week to jujitsu or wrestling and they will make your child have confidence and courage. It will improve their future. Don't worry your kid won't become a jerk they stay humble. I can't thank the Dan's gym enough on how my boys improved.

They have some great instructors, but unfortunately the members create an atmosphere of insecurity and fear. If you show up with any experience, confidence, or heaven forbid are good looking, in shape, and not religious, then you will be hated like you're a Globo Gym member. Not only will they hate you, they will begin to spread lies and rumors about you and give you dirty glances. We witnessed them allow a member to continuously cause trouble, disobey the rules of the mat, and disrespect other members of the gym and the instructors and manager never did anything until after 9 months of not paying his dues they finally kicked him out. This guy was over 6' tall, 270 pounds, tattoos on his face... he was intimidating. He was also a very poor sport, no sportsmanship and no regard for etiquette. He threw tantrums when he didn't get submissions in jiu jitsu, he was always challenging the upper ranked belts to prove himself, he tried to start physical altercations with professional fighters at fight night, he tried to start fights with my husband threatening him through text, and they even allowed this member's young son to accost little girls in jiu jitsu, making creepy comments to them, and bullying other members of all ages, much like his father. There is a heavy Christian influence pervading the place, which seems to encourage the negative behavior. They forgive the bully over and over which punishes the victims. That member was just one example of the culture at large. Be aware of the groups of women who are there every day who act like they own the place and bully around doing what they want without consequences, acting like their membership doesn't cost the same as yours. If you want to go back to high school but pay for it, then this is your spot.

There's 8 heavy bags of different sizes and shapes to perform an array of punch and/or kicks on. 2 stations that time you on how many front kicks and punches you can do within a minute. And a tire flip station and a sled push station, then there's a rest minute in between stations that you will perform another exercise such as battle ropes, burpees, crunches, TRX band, deadlifts, box jumps etc...for 30 seconds and then rest for the remainder 30 seconds. Every week the workouts change so it's not boring at all! I have been going 6 days a week for the past 5 weeks! I can't get enough and the strength, stamina and weight loss I'm feeling is amazing! I have a 5 month old babygirl that I tend to so being able to get a hardcore workout in 30 minutes plus being able to take her with me to class is priceless!! I searched numerous websites, read reviews, and ultimately scheduled the initial 2 day private lessons with Master Chaney. I am a very over barring mom, I never leave or trust my kids with anyone, HOWEVER, upon meeting Master Chaney I seen the love and dedication she has for her students, and the studio. She is stern, but loving and gentle when need be. She treats every student with respect, and instills respect and manners with all students. Master Chaney knows every student on a personal level, and I was impressed with how fast she picked up on strengthens and weaknesses my kids had. We chose to put our kids in Martial arts one to build more confidence and for the other as a form release of built up aggression. We have two children who are polar opposites, and Master Chaney noticed right away and helps each student individually without catering. I'm not sure how she balances everything out, but she does. She is an amazing teacher, and I know how much she loves and cares of each student and those around her. I've seen my children grow in confidence, they are more dedicated to task they take on, they've learned more life lessons in self defense and being aware of surrounds.
