I have very fair skin and very thick coarse hair so this process is hard for me on the pain scale. She gave me a stress ball and when she could see I was reaching my limit she would move to an easier section to give me a break. No bleeding! No bruising! I didn't have any of the scabbing that most people described after their sessions, and the redness went away within 30 minutes! I looked completely normal and was able to go out with my friends without makeup on the same day. Did I also mention that I didn't need any numbing cream? With my previous electrologist, numbing cream was an absolute must for me because I'd tear up from the pain. I definitely did not need it here. The business is run out of the owner's home, so a lot of those extra factors that result in higher costs at larger businesses are avoided, resulting in a very reasonable price. It's $20 for each 15 minutes (not sure if the price changes as you increase the amount of time per session). Other places in the area can be up to $45 per 15 minute treatment. My upper lip and chin were done in 15 minutes, and between my eyebrows was another 15 minutes because I have a lot of hair there. The process was very quick. Highly recommended! The manager who sold me the package said that these would be removed when she sold me the package. Who is right? I certainly don't know, but probably the person who had no financial incentive to lie to me. Third one, nurse is lovely. She asks me if I get the laser between my eyebrows. I say yes. Now, I'm from the 90s. I have spent years attempting to regrow my over plucked brows. When the nurse leaves after the third appointment, I look in the mirror and the middle of my right eyebrow is gone. The nurse told me to leave a review, so here it is.
