There is seating at the bar. The server turned on some Indian music and it really transformed the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We felt very welcomed. I would never agree to go to an Indian restaurant but I was out numbered , and I'm so glad we went. We ordered the bison (I'm calling them pot stickers ) steamed as an appetizer with this wonderful dipping sauce. My son ordered the Indian style ramen. My other son ordered the chefs special chicken wings. And I ordered shrimp dish medium spicy The shrimp dish was delicious and had a generous amount / at least dozen plump juicy shrimp. Service was quick and food was fresh. We could hear our server singing along with the music at times and it truly made our dining experience feel fun and happy. My son that had the Indian style ramen finished maybe half of it. He told me it was okay but he's qualified it because he wasn't use to anything other than Japanese ramen and felt he couldn't give it a fair opinion. Over all I highly recommend this restaurant. I wish I took pics of my shrimp dish and the bison pot stickers.

While we were inside, we noticed a kitchen in the back that looked surprisingly legit authentic big pots, real equipment, and what looked like a family running the whole operation. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We got to chatting and learned the place was run by a Sikh family. The kitchen smelled amazing, and after seeing how authentic everything looked, we figured we'd give it a shot. Normally, Indian food from a truck stop in rural Wyoming isn't something I'd experiment with knowing I still had 6-7 hours of travel ahead of me to get home, but this place completely blew us away. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan, and my buddy got the butter chicken with plain naan. Both came out piping hot in about 10 minutes. The flavors were incredible, rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. Honestly better than a lot of places I've had in bigger cities. I ended up scarfing mine down while driving to the airport because it smelled too good to wait. I'm pretty particular about Indian food and usually don't eat it much outside of places like London, but this was fantastic. If I'm ever passing through that area again, I'll absolutely stop back and probably grab multiple plates. One of those unexpected road-trip food wins you don't forget.

The naan was a bit off, but acceptable. The one primary issue we had was that we asked for their spiciest level, and it was definitely 'Wyoming' spicy... we were looking for a 5/5 spice level and it was about a 3 to 3+. So not as spicy as desired, so definitely ask for spicier than what you would normally, as it is a spicy scale tailored to the market in question. Service was acceptable, except for the fact that the server's English was poor enough that we were not sure he got our order correct until he brought it back and it was correct. There was a lot of confusion with placing the order. He was pleasant enough, but I think to take orders you have to understand the language well enough to take the order. For some items we could just point to the picture in the menu, but that did not work for everything. Prices were reasonable. Probably the best Indian in the area, would definitely go again, but we'd probably get more insistent about dialing up the spice level.

If you're looking for incredible Indian food in Cheyenne, Spice Zone is the answer…read more The food: The butter chicken is the star -- creamy, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. My family orders it every single time. The garlic naan is equally essential: fresh from the oven, soft with just the right char, and absolutely loaded with garlic. It's the kind of naan you keep ordering more of because you can't stop eating it. The service: This is where Spice Zone really shines. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely seems to care that you're having a great experience. They check in without hovering, refill drinks before you ask, and make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The spice: They have a genuine range of spice levels, which is rare. A lot of places say "mild to hot" but everything comes out medium. Not here. They'll make it genuinely mild for those who want it, and they'll bring real heat for those who ask. Everyone gets what they want. Bottom line: Great food, amazing service, and they nail the basics. Five stars because it's the kind of place you find yourself recommending to everyone. Already planning our next visit.

We had the eggrolls, lamb biriyani and the Mango Curry chicken and all were so well made we kept talking about it through the meal. We chose medium plus heat and it was perfect for the mango but could have gone higher on the biriyani. The heat of the mango dish was slow and warming in the most pleasant way, not the burn your mouth off style that can overpower a dish. The venue was immaculate and the people working there were polite and attentive. It's not fancy, but it was pleasant to be there. We'll go again soon. I didn't take photos, fail.

My lunch buddy and I both decided to get curry combos, where you get to choose an appetizer, a dal, your curry, naan, and dessert. Oh, and it comes with papadum and rice. It was so much food! We could have shared one combo and both been very satisfied, but at least this way we were able to taste more things. In my combo I had: chicken momos, desi dal, a chicken curry (I forget which one - it was the one the server recommended when I said I preferred mild/medium spice), rosemary naan, and gulab jamun. My friend started and ended with the same appetizer and dessert, but otherwise chose the dal makhani, chicken vindaloo, and garlic naan. We both had chai to drink. Everything was so good! I have to say that I was glad to have asked for mild/medium spice - it was right at the edge but not over my tolerance level. If there was a reason not to share combos it would be because we'd fight over the momos - it was a good thing we had 2 orders. Both dals were tasty, but I think I will stick with dal makhani in the future. I wish I could remember which curry I had because it was unlike anything I've tried before and delicious. I had a taste of the vindaloo, too - I enjoyed the bite I had, but with the spice level I couldn't have eaten a whole serving. The gulab jamun was the best I've ever had - completely soaked through with the syrup giving it the most delightful texture. My lunch buddy likened it to homemade. The service was helpful but not overbearing - offering opinions on the menu when asked, checking in to make sure we were happy, explaining a little bit about regional Indian food (eg the inclusion of Indo-Chinese on the menu), etc. It was nice that the owner stopped by to thank us for coming in, and that our server kept the chai flowing. I could have happily sat there drinking chai and enjoying the calming ambiance (on point with beautiful blue walls and light fixtures) all afternoon if there weren't the small matter of having to go back to work.

She ate the butter chicken, rice and mango lassi. And has been ill all night. As a celiac it's clear when food contamination makes her sick rather than simply not feeling well. I hope that you will do better by your patrons - you would never mix veg and vegan. Take that same consideration into keeping gluten free items truly gluten free, or simply pull them off your menu.
