Butter Chicken Pizza (Large) with no red onions
    Carolen M.

I don't get pizza cravings often and when I do, we make sure to not ignore the craving! Since we were going to be doing some shopping nearby, it was our opportunity to satisfy this craving. L O C A T I O N Curry Pizza House is located off of Fremont and Mowry Blvd in the plaza with the Mega Mart. There's a few spaces in front of the place but there are a few more spots in the lot that's shared with all the businesses in this area. We easily found a spot right in front. M E N U Curry Pizza House has some appetizers, salads, wings, desserts and of course pizzas of both "normal" and curry inspired ones. We looked at their menu and decided butter chicken was going to be it. Prices seem to be on par with other pizza places which for me is shocking when you see the prices but you know what. Sometimes it's worth it to satisfy a craving you know? How was it? The crust reminds me of a crisp naan. The butter chicken tender and not dry. The pieces felt a bit tinier than I wanted but I guess it's bite sized and probably helps with a more even cook. The sauce was creamy and definitely well spiced. I ate four slices of the large pizza we ate. Yeah I was hungry...voracious really. S E R V I C E We called in our order and unfortunately my hubby's connection was not great, but they did try to call him back a couple times which was wonderful that they even tried. Luckily, my phone was better so he ordered through my phone and they got our order and they started our pizza. We easily paid by card and it was readily available within 20 min and actually it might've been less. O V E R A L L When we're wanting a little something different than a normal pizza, Curry Pizza House is definitely an option for us that we've taken up on more than one occasion. I will definitely be back when I have another pizza craving and maybe explore the menu a bit more.

Flourless chocolate cake with mold on the end. :(

Unfortunately I did get a moldy piece of the flourless chocolate cake. I did call the restaurant to help sort that out and they were nice about it which was very much appreciated. So I'm rating on the pizza and the service I received. I opted for half of the chicken tikka masala pizza and half of chicken bacon supreme pizza. It was a bit pricey but it made sense since it consisted of a lot of ingredients on it. I really enjoyed, would come back to try other pizzas especially since it's in Fremont too. The service that was provided when ordering and trying to fix the issue with the cake was probably the nicest I've received at a pizza location in a while.

    Chicken tikka and chilli paneer
    Roshan R.

I've ordered from here a couple of times via DoorDash and tried their half-and-half pizzas both times. So far, I've had: * Shahi Paneer - 4/5 * Chilli Paneer - 3.5/5 * Tandoori Chicken - 3/5 * Chicken Tikka - 4/5 What I liked: Each pizza had distinct flavors and the portions were generous. Super filling--one large pizza can easily serve four people. What could be better: They tend to go a little light on the salt, and the pizzas are on the greasier side. But honestly, nothing a quick dab with a napkin can't fix.

Chicken wings 5 pc a chair wings and 5 pc curry masala

The food was okay - not particularly amazing but not bad either. I shared 5 pc achari wings/5 pc curry masala wings and a large half curry masala/half tandoori chicken pizza with a friend & the bill came out to $60, which I'm not sure was completely worth it. I've never had Indian pizza or wings, so don't have any expectations or know what is average and what's good. I liked the wings more than the pizza since you could taste more spices. Both wings and pizza were significantly different than American wings/pizza. But compared to traditional Indian food, both wings and pizza pales in term of flavor and spices. The silver lining (and why I'm giving this place a 4 and not a 3) was that they don't skimp out on protein for the pizzas - each slice was packed with chicken. The service was also okay. The cashier seemed a bit passive aggressive when my friend and I, who've never tried Indian pizza or Indian wings, were asking questions. The person who served my friend and me food seemed nice. The ambiance was fast casual & there was nothing particularly striking about the restaurant--actually the front had a broken buzzing neon sign of the restaurant's name. I wouldn't be opposed to coming here again if someone wanted to try this place, but I also wouldn't go out of my way to visit or suggest this place to others.

We always do take out or delivery but decided to dine in since we were nearby. Its a entitely different experience. Fresh curry pizza and cold beer on a hot day? Sign me up. Cool hand painted walls and clean front, exceptional service, (manager lady took CAREEEEE of us), we will come to dine in more often. 12/10 would recommend.

We got take out from this place and the pizza was pretty good. There was seating inside, but it was late and we wanted to go home. The pizza was made quickly. We put in our to go order 10 minutes before we got there and it was ready after another 5 min. We got the chicken tiki masala pizza. I thought this pizza was going to be really heavy, but it wasn't more than the average pizza. The pizza had a lot of toppings and I really liked the cilantro and green onions on top.

    Lemon pepper wings
    DrDuru A.

I've become a huge lemon pepper wings fan and the Indian pizza places really know how to get it right. Curry Pizza House did not disappoint. The flavor was perfect with all the right level of spices and seasoning. I also had the desi garlic sticks (with cheese). A new experience for me. Definitely a fresh take on garlic bread that is quite tasty. I washed things down with a mango lassi. I prefer a little thicker, but it still did the trick. This is also a good spot to spread out and get some work done or hang out with a group. Plenty of TVs for watching sports and good music.

    The order

LOCATION, PARKING great location right near target, with ample parking right in front. It's near several other food places that also do various Asian fast foods like boba. SERVICE, FOOD I did takeout and the online ordering process was very straightforward. We ordered three pizzas: two large (tandoori chicken, curry chicken masala) and one medium gluten free (half curry chicken with pineapple, red onion, pepper, and red sauce, half gobhi with olives, red onion, tomato and white sauce). Because the online ordering only lets you choose one sauce for the custom gf pizza, I chose red sauce and made a note asking to make the gobhi half with white sauce if possible. And they did!!! The order totaled about $100 after tax. This was actually more than enough for five fully grown adults-- you get pretty full after 2-3 slices, which are large and loaded with toppings. We have a significant amount of leftovers. The service was amazing. I ordered at about 4:45p and it was ready by 5:10. The place was pretty empty since it was early, but super clean. The guy helped me with the door and offered to help me out the three pizzas in the car as well. So friendly!! The pizzas are GENEROUSLY topped. Like yes they're almost $30 each but for good reason. You can't even see the sauce underneath all that topping. The slices are heavy with toppings. It's amazing. The taste was great. Very rich in flavor, mildly spicy (3/10 spicy), filling. I would DEFINITELY go again. The cherry on top is I was NOT glutened! Keep in mind, if you're celiac, that this place doesn't use a separate oven. I do react to cross contamination if it's enough (like 30ppm) and did not react here, but if you're very sensitive then it may be prudent to take a glutenease with the meal. I also want to add that my parents both reported that the pizzas "didn't agree with them" the next day. They are both lactose intolerant, so that may have played a role. I have a pretty sensitive stomach and didn't get a tummy ache from these, but I think it you're sensitive to dairy or spicy foods or spices, you may benefit from just taking a pepto bismol before the meal.

Ask the Community - Curry Pizza House Fremont Blvd

Does you Shahi panner, malai paneer & achari gobhi pizza contain egg?

If concerned about things containing egg, they do offer several of the paneer pizzas in vegan form.

Do the pizza cheeses you use have vegetarian rennet (microbial or vegetable) or animal rennet? Do you fry meat and vegetarian items in the same oil? For example samosas and chicken?

There's no animal rennet. But they do not keep a kosher kitchen. However, I am celiac and got a gluten free pizza from here and did not have a reaction, which suggests they have good cleaning protocols in place between cooking different pizzas.

Do you have cauliflower crust pizza?

Yes we do have cauliflower crust pizza in only available in medium size. Thank you

    Is your cheese completely vegetarian?

Yes, our cheese is completely vegetarian friendly and contains "no animal rennet".

Do they have gluten free crust?

    Do they have vegan cheese?

    Yes we do

Hi, do you offer any Halal option?

Hey, we do not have halal options.

How many people does a large pizza serve?

    3-4 Adults

Is your pizza and meat halal?

Hi our meat is not halal. Thanks

How can I order two different halves for my pizza when ordering online? I couldn't find the option anywhere.

yes you can, when you choose the build your own. choose the size of the pizza and the next screen you pick your toppings. theres 3 sections, whole, 1st half and 2nd half. You would just skip the Whole section and go to the next 2. But the very top… Read more

Now they have 2 other tap rooms, so no restaurant at those, just beer taps and maybe some cold snacks to munch on. This one in Fremont and another in San Rafael are both just taprooms. The Fremont one is in an industrial/business park so it looks like a storage unit with roll up doors. It took over another brewery Das Brew within the last couple of years. They did rearrange the space and decorated it to their specs. I do like the new look, it's clean and cohesive. I've seen about 8-10 taps being poured, all their own. Not sure how they are trying to be known now, but when I first visited their original location almost a decade ago, their beer model was to come close to English ales. These are more malty and not as heavily hopped/bitter as American craft brews. And this was in a time when Americans were going crazy for IPA types. So a bold move I thought imo. Traditional English ales also aren't as carbonated as American beers and usually served not as cold. I've actually come to respect those traits as I can taste more of the flavors when it isn't so icy cold. I've only tried 3 brews so far and in what I've experienced they are still a lot closer to that English mode of brews than American styles. Amber ($9/4*) Malty and soft, very English in taste and sensabilities. Surprisingly balanced, the more sips I took, the more I noticed it. Noticeable roasty malt notes blurring it with a brown ale. Kolsch (3.5*) This is a light German Ale. Meant for refreshment on warm days, much like a light lager. This was just a standard light beer to me, similar to golden and/or blonde ales. Nothing was wowing me, nor makes me crave it. But it is clean and drinkable. Goes good with the Mexican food from the food stand outside or bring in your own pizza. Guns of Brixton IPA (3.5*) This is a west coast style IPA so supposed to be pretty hoppy and dank. It is indeed hoppy and bitter but much lighter than most other west coast IPAs out there. Again it took about half a glass for me to appreciate this more. Even though not in-your-face boldness, after a glass or 2, you'll know you're drinking an IPA. And love their Clash references to some of their brew names, again very English and makes me feel like I'm in on a joke/secret. Lol Rounding up.

We ordered a variety of items including Egg Bhurji, scrambled eggs cooked with onions, chilies, and spices; as well as a traffic light array of curries: the deep red Butter Chicken, made of boneless chicken in a creamy tomato sauce; the yellow Lamb Korma, made of boneless lamb chunks in a creamy yogurt curry made with ground nuts; and the green Palak Paneer, a pureed spinach curry with chunks of paneer. Finally, the Hyderabad Goat Curry was made of bone-in goat cubes in a dark brown curry made of onion, tomato, ginger, and garlic. All of the curries went nicely with the Tandoori Naan and Onion Kulcha, freshly-made flatbreads that were highlights in and of themselves! Totally unique in location, ambiance and patronage (people from all walks of life come here - from bikers, blue collar workers, tech bros and long-time locals). You can see and feel the history the moment you walk in. It's part dive, part community hub, and part time capsule in the best way. Because the Flo holds a special place in my heart, I wanted to share a few supportive thoughts. I think the Flo has so much potential, and a few small tweaks could make a big difference. I know it would for me and other regulars who find ourselves stopping in less and less. Bartenders: Read the Room Afternoons often draw an older crowd that loves to chat and socialize. Keeping the music at a comfortable volume during those hours helps people enjoy the vibe without shouting over the jukebox. A little attention to the atmosphere goes a long way. Along those lines, consistent heat in the winter and AC in the summer would make the space more comfortable. It's amazing how much it influences whether people stay for one drink or settle in for the afternoon. Management: The Flo has a very loyal customer base. The folks who come here already know it, love it, and want to support it. Leaning into that core audience and maybe doing something simple like a basic SWOT analysis could spark some great ideas for keeping business strong. Keeping the door propped open might seem inviting, but the foot traffic in this area isn't really the bar's crowd. The magic of the Flo comes from the people who intentionally choose to be here. All of this comes from a place of appreciation. There are many of us who don't just want the Flo to stick around, we want it to thrive. With a few thoughtful updates, it can continue to be a beloved Fremont spot for years to come.

The drive over I kept thinking, "Where the heck am I going?" But once you turn down Niles Blvd. you are transported to a different era. It looks like a quaint little suburb of Fremont. Great set-up in the front. Large bar and tables with chairs. Pool table in the back. It's a bar. It's a bar you look forward to coming to because it's laid back. Had we not had dinner, the tacos looked good! Great pour on my Jameson! The bartender was very friendly! I'm not sure if it was Gracie or Jen the mermaid...LOL! They were going to do karaoke which was our cue to leave. Definitely worth checking out, even if you're not in the area. I will be back!

The middle has many tables for patrons to sit at. We parked (incorrectly) in some random parking garage, but you're supposed to park right across the street; Follow the signs for restaurant and shops parking (that we somehow missed). After a short wait on a Sunday afternoon, the bartender allowed us to taste a few beers on the menu that caught my eye. The cider (for you non beer drinking folk) was dangerously delicious and I really enjoyed their "fruited sours" line. Definitely would come back to relax at this location.

I love that they have a large focus on sours and now they even offer cider from a local cider house. You have to come check it out. Vibes are on point, such a chill spot. They also have pizza which is a major plus, especially because it is so delicious. Now I saved the best for last, the service is incredible. These people treat you like family. Such a warm and welcoming environment! S/O to Gabby, Cole, Rachel, and Matt! Thank you for being awesome. Very pet friendly!
