Sometimes the unexpected catches you by surprise with delight. It's definitely the case here, at curry cafe, which despite the simplistic name, is anything but. It loks a bit dodgy from the outside, but inside, It's a cute little spot and hangout. The staff are excellent; attentive and friendly, and very welcoming. The food is also fantastic value. For $10 in the breads range, I ordered a Masala Kulcha and a Aloo Paratha, both vegetarian and both very tasty. Well balance spice and flavours, with fluffy well cooked breads. You even get a very generous serving of papadums when dining in, which are excellent. It might not stand out in the street down this end of high street northcote, but your dine in experience most certainly will. read more
