Price match is a lie. I could have just exchanged at the border but figured if they price match it would be the same. I called in advance to check the prices for american to peso and he quoted me they buy at around 17.5 which was about airport prices. He said through the phone just show me a picture of the exchange rate online and well match the better deal. I found right away Garitasreporte exchanged at 20.0 which i thought was a bit high but hey they said theyd match on the phone. When i got there they send a price match notification for verification to i dont know who but sure i get it. If i didnt get the 20.0 the board said it was around 18 and change. I left too fast after finding out it was a scam that i forgot to take a picture of the board sorry. Well after a wait he told me i was going to get 7800 for 499 american and i said that doesnt sound right what are you charging for a fee. He didnt say, instead he told me the exchange came back and your getting 15 with some change and i just said no picked up the money and left. I understand if they told me thats too high. Even i thought it was high but they didnt even give me the board price or what he told me on the phone. Waist of time and money. Dont let them scam you. Just exchange before you cross. read more
