What an amazing shop! A friend of mine fractured her heel and was in need of a pick me up. I walked in the door and I just couldn't decide what to do. I met a lovely woman, Debra, who works in the greenhouse and she gave me all sorts of options to choose from! She could tell I was still undecided and suggested I look at the orchids. That was it! That was my choice! She was amazing. Onto pay and schedule the delivery. Emily greeted me at the register. She had an amazing smile and was very pleasant and helpful with what I wanted to say in the card. I couldn't put into words what it is that I was thinking. My orchid is being packaged up along with a little bonus that they agreed to help me out with, because they had the time to do it. Several years back, I ordered a wonderful Christmas piece top of the line with the Thomas Kinkade house on top. My friend texted me a photo of it and I gasped. The roses were missing and it was bare. I was horrified. I know Christmas i s very busy but instead of me bringing a housewarming gift to the party, I wanted my friend to have a nice centerpiece in her foyer when guests arrived. I phoned them immediately, explained what was going on and told them I needed a new one to that address right away. They said they had no more Kinkaide houses left. So they went to her house, got the one delivered, added more flowers, and other fillers and it looked wonderful. I can't say enough great things about Curran's flowers! Gayle in particular helped my COVID backyard wedding transform in to an actual wedding! I am not much of a flower girl, let this be known, and had very little information to give Gayle besides saying "rustic vibes," to which she nailed! Due to my husband being immunosuppressed and COVID precautions we were unable to go out and shop for hanging baskets this year for our balcony. The Currans website stated that they offer no-contact service including curbside pick-up. I spoke with Erin when I called and she could not have been more gracious and helpful. They also have a nice variety of garden decor, a nursery of various plants and flowers, and the best selection of orchids I have ever seen. I called three area florists, all listed as family owned and operated... all had operators, one even said to just order online! Operators asking me which item number I'd like etc...This is for my Grandmother's funeral, and important. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Where do I start. Well I ordered a beautiful bouquet of flowers for someone's birthday. It was suppose to contain white roses and looked really pretty on their website. I called after I placed my order and specifically said do not leave this arrangement if no one is home. They assured me they wouldn't. They said they would take it back to their shop and keep it fresh until it was redelivered or someone picked it up. Well, they totally lied to me. Not only were the flowers abandoned on the door step, they were tipped over and left with no card or message. They also contained about two white roses. For the 100$ I spent this was quite upsetting. When I called to complain about this a young girl answered who was very nice. She said they would send out a complimentary arrangement with plenty of white roses, the card, and make sure someone was home. This never happened. Instead, they sent out a new arrangement that looked nothing like the one I ordered. There wasn't a single white rose in it. They were very ugly. If you think that's bad it gets worse. When they delivered the "complimentary" set they demanded back the original flowers. They literally took these flowers out of this woman's vase from her home and handed her some half ass bouquet worth about 25$. I cannot believe that even happened after the girl was so nice on the phone to me and accommodating. If I ever knew they would do this I would have said forget it. When I called again - this time in shock - a man answered. He knew exactly what delivery I was talking about before I even continued. All he said was "okay". Dead silence. Didn't offer to send white roses that I paid for. Didn't offer to send anything. Didn't offer a refund. And didn't - at the very least -say sorry. I will NEVER order from this place again. They absolutely suck. They are liars. What you pay for is not what you get. They almost made her cry when they took back the original flowers. Making me feel so bad for someone I was trying to make smile on her birthday. Never again. This place is an unprofessional nightmare who only cares about money and not their customer's satisfaction. read more
