I honestly broke down crying. I refused to go ahead with my highlighting service when nothing was being done to correct this mistake. I also had to literally plead with my stylist to give me a proper haircut when she decided to just trim my hair, slap some curling conditioner on my hair and call it a "curly cut." She kept spraying water to make it look more manageable although admitted curly haircuts are usually done dry. My hair has fully dried now and my curls are so uneven and they look terrible. The front desk staff are also incredibly rude and unprofessional on the phone and in person. The front desk attendant threw my receipt at me after I was done there. Highly do not recommend this salon for anyone wanting to go from black to a lighter color with 3C above curly hair. If you want to leave a hair salon feeling like you actually got what they paid for, this place is NOT it. Completely unprofessional and make dark haired girls feel very gaslighted that I had to tell my stylist up front that she was not listening to what I wanted. Paid $215 for this absolute mess. Why would I want to go to a hair salon to achieve this base color result when a CVS box dye could easily achieve the same??

I honestly don't consider my hair is thick it's just curly from the roots... I didn't have the heart to argue so I accepted it. An older lady washed my hair and then started to just dry my hair with an old blowdryer (barely any heat) then was going to use a straighter to straighten my hair. I was shocked, I never had experienced a salon that would used an iron straightener when requesting a blowout. The lady was not doing a great job and I requested to just pay for the wash and leave if this is not what expected. When I sad I don't want an iron straightening process because it oils my hair quick I just what a blowout the response was "how fast?". Eventually someone else started to air dry my hair without user a roller brush and just basically applying heat. I was so disappointed because I could have done this at home with my own Dyson. Total waste of my time and unprofessional with curly hair roots (not even full hair). I did end up paying $45. The smells of the place was so strong. Such a waste of self care day, I felt I was getting more dissatisfaction with everything.

Like I said in the email, if a customer asks you for a hair color you should be aiming to deliver that. If a customers hair is too damaged according to you, you can't just decide to do your own color without telling the customer. I'm not sure why you are claiming this was discussed during my consultation with Jade, you were not even present during that time. Again she showed me blonde hair and if she was honest with the color SHE (not me) decided looked best she should have showed me photos of the dark brown hair she was planning. I would have said no and left the salon. If you see her phone history for December 31, 2025 at 4:20pm you will see for yourself what I was shown, and it is nowhere near what she did to my hair. I hope your salon does not continue to do the same for new customers like I was and practices honesty. It seems someone else also had a similar experience to me in the reviews here...
