The Seafarer has become the venue of choice for many of the volunteers, even those living close enough to get home for food. We have never had any problems in getting a table or two and the service is very good, as is the choice of meals. Having just spent part of the summer in Whitby, I was prepared for a slight disappointment this year, but it didn't happen - the cod tasted just as good as those I had become used to. There is a small, but viable choice of drinks; tea, beer, wine etc. and these are served very quickly. The food typically takes a while longer, but this is indicative of the fact that all is prepared as requested, rather than kept warm until needed. As stated by others, there is plenty of free parking around - the huge Memorial Hall parking area is still there even though the Hall has been demolished in readiness for a brand new one in the next few years.
