Truck breakdowns every other week. No warning, nothing. Not a good srevice. Atleast tell me when you can't pickup trash that day.

Very expensive and they don't pick up all the time. Don't take boxes the price is very high.

Thee absolute WORST. A class action lawsuit needs to be brought against these jokers. They randomly stopped collecting our trash and were unreachable & unresponsive over the course of FOUR WEEKS... they cited "system issues" but ironically the system issues didn't affect their ability to collect fees. Automatic payment came out like clockwork. I called the city & county to complain - found out it wasn't just us. They randomly stopped collecting for businesses & government offices in the area as well. In the end we had to rent a trailer and haul the trash to the recycle center ourselves & pay those fees - an extra $50 bucks and half a day lost - even though our bill was paid!! Got a warning from our HOA because the bin was overflowing trying to resolve the issue. Humiliating to know our neighbors probably think we didn't pay our bill! Of course, bin was full of maggots & we had to clean that up. I was soo angry and frustrated trying to resolve getting our trash picked up. I drove to 4 different locations to try and talk to someone in person, to no avail and ultimately I wanted nothing more than to use that trailer to deliver all our trash - and anyone else's that they left hanging - to the front door of the closest location. Curbside is so ignorant that now, after we finally found a different provider, we STILL can't reach Curbside to take their bin back! No communication. No apologies. No refund. If I could give them a 0, i would. Service is terrible! The trash dates have changed and the trash pick up times are so inconsistent. Sometimes they come at 2pm, 3pm, 5pm or not even at all. We recently complained to management because they didn't pick up our trash. Management stated that the driver's notes read they came by at 5pm and the trash wasn't ready for pick up. This is all false. They never came by, and trash had been at the curbside since the day before. Oscar the Grouch would not recommend this service, and he lives in a trash can!!! read more

Had great service until they changed pick up day on us. Now the guys that come rip open our trash bags and throw it on our lawn (I've been there in person for it and caught on security camera). As I picked it up they smiled and waved at me. Not sure what we ever did to them but this is the most disrespectful garbage men. read more

I've been with the company for over 4 years since I moved in my home in Newton County. They have changed to GFL and I believe since then, the service has been terrible. The trash times are very inconsistent, they typically don't pick up on the scheduled days, it's been times where I've had my can full and waiting for pick up for over 3 weeks! The contact numbers might as well not be in service because it took me 2 days to get a live person on the phone. Here it is probably the 4th time that my trash has been sitting for a week waiting and they keep notifying me that the bill is due. I will not be paying, cancelling my service ASAP. If anyone has any better trash companies that service the Newton County Ga area, please let us know. This is ridiculous, I don't enjoy cleaning maggots. read more

I had this trash service a few years ago and stopped their service because of rising rates and they didn't pick my trash up every week. I had another trash service that gave their account to them so I was forced to use them again. Here we are years later same issue. My bill was paid up to 3 months and my trash hasn't been picked up 3 times. When you call the office all you get is questions no solutions. "Was your trash at the curb"? "Was it at the curb on time"? Yes & Yes. Me doing my part isn't the problem because I'm paying for the service. This is totally RIDICULOUS and whomever the owner or manager is needs to take a look at this lack of service. read more

They are terrible. They have switched companies or management whatever they did it has been awful service every since. They no longer pick flattened boxes or additional bags outside of the receptacle. They never answer the phone . I am cancelling my service as of today after 3 years. read more

Gonna start out with 1*...and the bad thing is, I haven't even began to have their service! I mean, I've paid for it! I never had such a headache as I have dealing with these trash companies in Newton! August 3rd I set up to have our trash picked up by Curbside, since Peach State stopped service for Newton County. This was a Tuesday. They tell me it's going to be early the following week before I can get my can (7th or 8th). Issue...they pick up on Tuesday so I probably won't have ours picked up. So Wednesday (9th) I call and leave a message asking about our can. A lady calls back and tells me that it'll be Thursday or Friday that we'll get our can (10th or 11th). I explain to her that our trash is piling up and we can't leave it by the street (which they said we could do) without being in a can due to the fact that we live in a wooded area with lots of animals that could get into it. She tells me she will put me on the urgent list. Cool beans! I get another call a little later from another lady, this time I don't answer but she leaves a voicemail. The voicemail tells me the same thing...can delivery Thursday or Friday. So what happens when I get home at 0145 Saturday morning (12th)? STILL NO CAN! Oh, and I've already paid $45 for 3 months of service. Have already missed one week and looks as though I may miss a second week! So this rating and review will sit here until things change! Things eventually got better. We found out that they actually delivered our can to the wrong house. Had no issues until here recently. The latest issue was that they lost our payment and ended up taking our can. I had to end up printing our bank account details out and taking it up there to show them where we had paid. It's been a bumpy ride with this company so far. I plan to stick with them though. They've had their issues, but do fix them. They've worked they way from a 1* to a 3* to a 1* to a 3* again. This is a half a** company! They pick and choose what they will pick up and who they will pick up for. Paid my bill and was skipped because the in-house people never reported the payment. The same rules don't apply to everyone. Trifling a** drivers will leave some things as small as boxes and the in-house employees are very nonchalant and unprofessional. Speaking on the phone while eating and smacking. Not very customer service oriented. read more

Coustmer service is worse than awful. In consistent service if you can call it that. Theatened to stop service for non payment when the bill had been paid 6 months in advance but not posted. When I cancelled their "service" loosely worded they tried to charge me $25.00 dollars for picking up their can. Worst hauler I have ever used. read more

Fair warning, slow your truck down on Cronan Road in Covington, there will be a police report filed every Tuesday. Calling the company and complaining many times obviously does no good. Cronan Road is a 1/2 mile dead end, gravel, ONE LANE road with 10 houses. There are small children and pets here. We have a SPEED LIMIT of 10 mph. We have slow down signs everywhere. I started with them last November. Had good service until September. Had to call and ask why they hadn't picked up garbage 3 times. It's been 2 weeks since they've picked up my garbage. Say they're busy or they are done for the day. I live Bethany Rd and Highway 212 area. I am the only one in this subdivision (wonder why???!!!) so why don't they just say I'm out of their way and find another service? Owner was rude to my husband when he spoke with him on the phone about our garbage not being picked up. I'm changing services. They owe me 2 months pre-paid services back. Doubt I ever see that. I'm only giving 1 star because I have to give a star. This service is horrible. DO NOT use this company. After a month and a half of service they managed to only pick up 3 times-IF that. The pick up dates keep changing after they've missed the pick up. NO ONE answers the phone. They are horrible at returning calls. They did manage to approve a refund for their defunct service...I haven't received the check yet BUT trust me in 10 business days if I don't have it. I'll step this up. I wish I'd read all the horrible reviews before trusting them with my father's job! read more

Curbside Waste is just that...a WASTE of time. Although I've paid for service, I'm not receiving service. Grace & Rachel continue to provide excuses (ie. sorry, we're busy) but it still does not resolve the problem. read more

I have been a customer with Curbside Waste Services for over a year...Their rates are comparable to other waste services in the area, but the difference is they did NOT start me off with an introductory price and gradually increase my rate after the first year of service with them...Also on Friday 7/15/16 my son had forgotten to take the can to the curb the night before...I heard their truck on the side street and jumped out of the bed hoping to "beat" the truck and get the can to the curb... Unfortunately for me they were moving fast and got to my stop before I could even get dressed, my son shouted "Mama, they came up the driveway and got the can!!!" I hollered outside "Thank you" and almost scared the woman to death...That woman was Sherma Paris and she went above and beyond her job requirements to make sure that my can was emptied...For that I'd like to say "Thank u Sherma, I appreciate your thoughtfulness and keep up the good work..."Curbside, Sherma is a keeper so show some appreciation to a great employee... read more
