ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE…read more
Yes, whoever reads this, I know it is WGS who reads all your reviews, including the bad ones. These reviews are what helps your services to improve.
Service Requested: I was receiving 2 pieces of furniture from my sister, who was moving. I also, in return was giving away to WGS 4 pieces of items - 2 furniture, a floor lamp, and a 5-panel set of shutters.
The service that my sister requested on my end - i.e., at my condo, was completed. So, I have addressed that. The quality was awful, and any other adjectives to go with it.
The value: I cannot answer that, because my sister was the person who paid for their services.
COMPLAINTS (2)
FYI: The service was completed on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from about 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM ET.
1. Although the service itself was good, the lack of communication, of which I received absolutely none prior to their arriving here. And when they did arrive, it was right in front of me inside the lobby, as I talked to the building manager. I was going to tell him that my sister had called to say that they had left her condo about 5 minutes prior to my call. Well, I went downstairs. There they were, parked outside with 2 trucks in the front of the building. Had they actually called me - my sister "said" she had given them both my landline tel. # and my cell phone #, and maybe even my email address. Well, the woman who I think who was a coordinator of work for the men who would being the heavy lifting - I think here name is Dulcey - told me that she or someone (maybe one of the drivers) had called me. Nope, what a lie! Here's the other complaint:
2. Right before I left, I had handed Dulcey a piece of notebook paper with my clearly defined instructions about something: I wanted to claim all I could monetarily for the 4 pieces of furniture (from above, so I'm lumping all of them together in "furniture") for tax purposes, since I essentially gave away these things. I think they would be donating what is usable to charities, or other organizations.
So, I first asked her verbally before the instructions and she said she would look into it, before they started their work. In the paper, I gave her my condo's name, my address with unit number; my 2 telephone numbers, and my email address. I asked her in the paper to ask her manager or whomever she needed to in order to find whether they provide either of these 2 options:
a) An actual WGS-created form with fields for the customer (me) to fill in at my leisure for TY 2026. OR:
b) Any actual IRS form that they can pull off of their own web site, that they may have customized for their customers' use.
Alternatively, they could just have told me that when it came time for me to file my TY2026 taxes, I could just make a guess and put those 4 pieces and their respective values into the proper fields in my tax software. Nope, nothing.
So, what actions have I taken since they left? I gave them ten (10) days to respond to my paper from Dulcey, sort of unintentionally. So, at 11:39 PM ET, on August 30, 2026, I filled out their online form, at this URL: https://whiteglovesolution.com/pages/contact. It was very detailed. They have about 3 detailed text boxes at the bottom, of which I filled in 2 of them, after answering the basic questions. Since then, I have not heard back anything from anyone at the company. I had written in the form that yesterday (it is now 1:02 AM Tuesday, 9/1) I had an early appointment, and would be not at home, for at least 5 hours. They could, if they decided to actually call me, to do so and leave me a message. They haven't called me, nor has anyone contacted me through my email address. I am livid. This is awful service, yet they seem to think that everyone loves it. Please take note, WGS, that when you came into my condo unit to do a "deep clean" in late May of 2025, I was not asked if I wanted the service. My father owns the unit, and there was a water leak in my kitchen, and something else. I should have been asked, as I am the resident!! Shame on you. You should always have the residents' permission to enter. Background: I am only 5'5" short. So when they left after doing what I had *NOT* requested they do, all of my kitchen cabinets' contents were messed up, and those things I kept in a 2nd-lower cabinet shelf, were now high up on the 3rd or 4th shelf up! You should always be told to leave the person's belongings where they were. So, Mr. owner, I expect a phone call from you today, Tuesday, 9/1/26 about you will have done about all of my concerns. You are a manager, but right now, your concern for your clients' satisfactions is not evident at all. Please prove yourself.
