I wish they were more honest with the THC percentages. They usually have quite a bit on the menu that is over 34% THC which is theoretical impossible. The highest recent % was Godfather OG at 34.?%
Everything they have over 34% is an outright lie, it just is. And it's there to grab your attention and to make the purchase based the solely off a high THC %
I stopped looking at percentages when I learned about terpenes..... that's not to say I don't look at them but it influences my purchase a lot less nowadays
Also. What's the deal with these strains you sell that have the same name as another menu item, but looks edited....for example there is a JAH CHEESECAKE strain and a JAH CHEE CK strain as well. You got to help me understand why this is being gone. Because there's only a few possibilities one is that it's a joke, but that wouldn't work because they didn't let anybody in on it..
2, they think nobody would notice or care
3. They are putting garbage flower scraps in misleading jars so as to get rid of unwanted stock. The reason the strains are intentionally misspelled are so that they can deny trying to trick customers because the burden would fall on us to tell the difference between the two titles and see that there is a clear difference.
There has to be a reason why there are strains available for sale are intentionally misspelled or had half the letters missing I really think it's reliability purposes so that they can sell you back stock. As far as the percentages on the back they can just put whatever that's what they have been doing. No one is going to know the difference if they get sold something with 18% thc but we label it 31% .... and they are doing this because they are clearly lying about current THC levels and have been caught and fined in other states doing it..... I want to know about these misspelled strains because I can hear some douche lawyer say oh you thought you were buying a "biscotti cookie" strain but the label clearly said "biscotti CK", from the "ck premium bud" line of products. There's a reason this is being done whatever you answer I can think I would be given just doesn't hold up and makes no sense
Also they paid the zero attention to the website comment the filters do not work in the searches and every single and I mean every single strain is labeled the same in the "specifications" window.
All sativas "Energetic, Happy, Creative, Focused, Inspired"
All hybrids "Calm, Happy, Relaxed,
Energetic"
All indicas "Relaxed, Sleepy, Happy"
Go look at another dispensaries website and see how seriously they take the information they put on there and that is updated, running smoothly, and providing the customer experience they want their customers to have. They will have pictures of each bud that you look at , correct concentrate consistency for each product.. (sauce, diamonds, sugar, etc) on this website I have repeatedly seen pictures of dab rosin labeled as sand or sugar labeled as crumble. The other sites will have the terpenes information front and center, not hidden underneath drop boxes.
This whole practice screams of "screw those potheads they won't notice" but I have wanted to know the real reason behind this the first time I saw it..... nobody knows of a straight answer about it.... here's the thing I have ADHD too .... its all I can think about.... every time I use that goddamn website....
Here's the thing though that keeps me going. . . . The city ave location has the most wonderful staff ive ever had the pleasure of shopping with. Always holding a little bit of conversation without being annoying about it, very knowledgeable.
Smoking devices are practically nonexistent at this location they have 8$ 510 threaded batteries and $299 volcano dab vaporizers. Nothing in between. you bought some extract in this place? Sucks........ you're going to have a hell of a time smoking it anytime soon.... cuz now you got to go to a separate store to find a suitable dab rig. the store doesn't sell them so the staff can't help anybody out when it comes to learning how to smoke Dabs properly.
At the end of the day Ive made the decision that I won't be going to this store anymore ....and will walk thr extra half mile to go to Sunnyside from here on out, it's not the closest but it has a far better point system and offers a tire discount for veterans ......Curaleafs menus seem to roll back to the strains sold 3 weeks ago like on a restaurants First In/First out inventory management plan......sunny side has devices, cleaning kits, storage bags, humidity packs, info on the website is accurate up to date and has every bit of information I could possibly want .....especially clear, individual, reviews for everything they sell. That's a lot of information to stay on top of and I appreciate that. read more
