The plaza itself has my favorite bagel place (Manhattan Bagel and Bistro) so bonus for me. It's old school here so all machines operate on quarters but no worries they have a change machine. For ppl with small bladders like myself there is a clean restroom. Their hours are pretty much all day everyday so no excuse to clean all your dirty laundry.

I like it here, fair pricing clean machines and building. Sometimes the coin machines are all out.read more

The sign says same-day service, but that's not necessarily true. My husband dropped off our laundry when they opened at 8am and it was not ready until the next day. Their folding skills are okay but they couldn't be bothered to pair socks up. Perhaps I am spoiled from all the options in Brooklyn where I used to live. (They would not only pair up your socks but pack up your finished clothes by CATEGORY [all underwear together, all sheets, towels, shirts together, etc.].)

Dry cleaning services are convenient and good quality. I usually take big loads including clothing, blankets, bedsheets, socks/undergarments and they are washed, folded and then also delivered to me in a timely manner. They will pick up and drop off your loads if needed for a little bit more. It's very convenient.

The Owner, Mike, is frequently there to maintain, clean and supervise his business. Everything is clean, operational and people aren't allowed to just leave their clothes in machines and walk away. The facility is clean, brightly lit, the soap dispensers are full, there are several change machines that change $1, $5, $10 & $20 bills. The soda/candy machine is fairly priced and always stocked. The floors are clean and there are numerous carts to move your wet wash to the dryers. Large machines cost $5.50, medium machines $4.50 and small load machines are $2.75; Dryers are 6 minutes for 25 cents. A bargain.

Whether it is the owner or one of their younger employees, I have always been treated with respect. In fact, I once asked the owner about how the process worked and he invited me back to wander around and he gave me a tour of the place! Their service was fast, my clothes always came back clean, and I thought that their prices were reasonable. Getting into and out of the tiny plaza during rush hour isn't always easy, but beyond that I have no complaints.

Weird cause they didn't send it out somewhere they cleaned it on premises. Anyways....so when the guy gave it to me it was all wrinkly and had a funny smell and the inside filling was lumpy. I complained and he kept it another week and he said he could fix it.... A week later still the same! I had to get rid of the 100 dollar quilt that was less than a year old. But this Cudney's certainly impressed me. It was brightly lit and warm, and for a self-service laundromat, it was also very clean and well maintained. My mom has been to other laundromats in the area (beyond the Cudney's cleaners), and she likes this site much better - very few machines out of order (and when they are, they're marked), and she's never had a problem with close smelling off after being washed here (she has at others). It does seem to me that for a laundromat of this size, there weren't enough chairs for customers to sit. Also, I was not aware of a bathroom on site. I guess you have to walk next door to Stewart's?
