There are no markings for Cash vs. Ctedit pricing anywhere. However, once the pump is in the tank, you find out that because you are using a credit card, you are now paying 10 cents more per gallon. It would have been cheaper to go to an honest place next door which advertised the true price. So ... suck it Circle K. Won't ever come here again.

I stopped here Monday afternoon because my work truck was nearly out of diesel fuel, and this place is right off I-295. With its huge parking lot and impressive number of Gulf-branded gasoline pumps (I counted a whopping 16), this place would fit in well in Texas. They also have four diesel pumps, two of which are high-speed pumps for filling trucks more quickly. Inside, the store is equally large, with a Honey Dew Donuts occupying the left side of the store. In addition to a drive-up, the Honey Dew has an indoor counter, as well as some tables for those customers who want to stay-and-sip. There is plenty of room between aisles of merchandise, and the store appeared to be well-stocked with good variety of drinks, snacks and convenience foods. And, it does have a bathroom (which is a requirement to earn a 4-star rating from me), although it is located in the right-front counter of the store, which was a bit counter-intuitive. It's not as fancy as Seasons Corner Market convenience stores (the white floor tiles at Circle K were boring and showed dirt easily), but it covered all the bases. The cashier at Circle K was clean-shaven, polite, and soft-spoken - quite the opposite of the large, rather rowdy group of blue-collar guys seated around a long table at Honey Dew.

This Trader Joe's has been such a great addition to Providence. That whole area really needed a…read moregood food market, and this place fits perfectly. Every time we go in, we end up finding something new to try. Half the fun of shopping there is walking around saying, "Alright, what weird snack are we leaving with this time?" The store is clean, organized, and surprisingly efficient considering how busy it gets. One thing I really appreciate is that they actually staff the registers properly. There always seem to be plenty of cashiers working, so even when the lines look long they move quickly. You're not standing there questioning your life choices while someone argues over coupons for 20 minutes. The parking setup is also a huge plus. Having the garage parking with the elevator right up to the main level makes things incredibly easy, especially on busy weekends or bad weather days. Way less stressful than circling around crowded lots hoping someone backs out. The employees have always been friendly too, which honestly makes a difference. The whole place has a good energy to it. Quick shopping trip or full grocery run, this location just works. Definitely one of the better additions to Providence in recent years.

I can't rate this location any higher than three stars, because the extremely heavy traffic at the…read moreintersection of routes 6 and 136 makes it difficult to pull in and out of here, unless you are pulling in and out in the same direction as traffic. When leaving here, I needed to take a left on GAR Highway (Rte. 6), but didn't want to cross four lanes of traffic (two lanes in each direction), so I took a right out of the parking lot, then turned left into another business farther down the road, so I could essentially make a safe U-turn. If it seems exhausting reading this, it's a pain doing it in actuality. It basically negates the whole concept of a convenience store. This location features 12 fuel pumps, two upscale bathrooms and a Dunkin' Donuts inside the store. Since the store is in Massachusetts, they sell beer and wine. The store was clean, but they were a bit stingy on the A/C. Cashier was polite. The parking lot seems undersized for the amount of gas pumps; worse yet, some of the parking spaces in front of the store are right over access covers to the underground gas tanks. Basically, it's a decent store, but only convenient if you're passing it on the right.

The Waterman store should take note, their buffet and salad bar are pathetic! There are a lot of tables to sit at and eat if you wanna grab something to eat before shopping at Garden City. They also have a really good fresh flower selection. You can also get nice holiday wreaths, mums and Christmas trees for reasonable prices. Don't get me started on the pastry case because everything looks amazing! I love the tiny sizes because you can try different desserts.

Its cheerful exterior is very inviting, and it features some unusual architecture (it was an old, yet futuristic-looking gas station at one time, apparently). In addition to a basic selection of drinks, snacks and groceries, it has a small deli counter, where you can purchase either deli meats, or made-to-order deli sandwiches, both very reasonably priced. I did see a very small selection of produce immediately to the left of the entrance. The section on the right presently appears to be used for storage (I'm not sure if it used to house a pizza operation mentioned in other reviews?). This market is diagonally across the street from the Modern Diner, another interesting piece of historical architecture. It's cool to see old buildings still around, whether they are being used for their original purpose, or re-purposed.
