I really should have read the reviews before eating here. And I certainly should have looked at the condition of the dining room before ordering. I've been to multiple Culver's and had great, or at least good experiences, so I never expected this. We were literally the only two people in the entire restaurant, on a Saturday afternoon, except for one elderly couple. The place was EMPTY, and yet there were several dirty tables and none of the ketchup or Mayo dispensers had been filled enough to get more than half a condiment cup's worth. The food, when it came out, was so cold that the cheese on the burger wasn't even melted. Usually at Culver's, the person bringing out the food is very friendly. Not here. While the dining room is in disarray and condiments needing to be filled, with food apparently sitting around to the point of being cold, the entire crew was standing behind the counter, turned the opposite direction, all chatting. The manager needs to either take his job seriously, or the place should be shut down. They're giving Culver's a bad name. The health department really needs to show up here. read more

We stopped by this Culver's after a long day in the sun for a good burger (or so I thought). After a couple bites I looked at my burger to see that the piece of cheese was thicker than the burger!!! I've never seen a patty this thin... I was so disappointed and I ended up having to throw the burger away and had to eat elsewhere. We have visited this location numerous times. The burgers are always dried out and not hot despite waiting a long time. This visit the burgers were dried out, cold, and greasy. The ice cream is consistently tasty. Would not recommend visiting for food or timely service. read more

Came here after OG dinner in celebration of my daughter getting Citizen of the Month at school. Have never had a Culver's ice cream treat before so since this location is new, we stopped in since it was conveniently located in the same plaza as OG. This location is actually where the old DQ used to be....so brand spankin' new location. We entered and walked right up to the counter to place our order. I think the cashier was in training but they were very friendly. Placed order w/ease and supplied the table number and found a table to sit down. They delivered the ice cream out to us promptly, mine was a bit melted but that's only because I had hot fudge topping which of course will make the ice cream a bit melty which I'm perfectly ok with. Just explaining that for the sake of the picture that I posted. I will say, however that they need to have staff go around and clean tables after guests leave as it was hard for us to find one that was actually clean -- we passed a few and ended up sitting at the first one we passed since it was less dirty than the rest. Horrible, horrible service and management. Friday, August 27th. 9:15 pm. Ordered 2 butterburgers, 2 concrete, fish basket. Waited and waited inside for our number to be called. Never called the number. We asked and the found the bag put to the side. Tried to hand the now cold food to us. We refused and the manager offered no apology just refunded the order. I asked why I had waited so long for order and he mumbled it was busy. No one else was in line. Too many people running around and having no clear idea how to get the food to the customer. I'm from Wisconsin originally and Have gone to Culver's in Kenosha. I love the one's in up north. This one in Citrus park is the worst. Poor management horrible service and ice cold food. I went thru the drive They on a Monday night, placed my Order and was told to pull forward. The idiot in front barely pulled up so I Stuck behind her and the drive thru Window. I beeped my horn for her to Move up but she wouldn't budge. When I received my food, the girl who Brought it out had to tell the person to move all the way up to the line. They Caused such a back up. This Culver's has many wrinkles to iron out. The first time I went through the drive-thru to grab some custard. It was midweek and wasn't busy, so I was so excited for this location. I was shocked that every time after that night the wait has been ridiculous and it has been nothing but a hectic mess. I ate in on a Friday night with my son and it was packed. I get how things can get a bit out of hand when it's busy, but you could clearly see the issues. This location has teens working here that aren't trained properly. The customer service and friendliness is missing. My son and I ordered burgers, cheese curds and 2 concrete mixers. They ask every time if you want your receipt and they really shouldn't because they don't know how to keep food orders together enough to go receipt-less. I love the fact that you get a number and have your freshly made items brought to you, but this system doesn't work as well as it seems. I watched workers searching for numbers in the busy restaurant with trays of food getting coughed on by patrons as they walked by...there's no designated space for the numbers so these poor kids were running around looking up and down isles and all around tables. When we were finally brought our food the kid took our number without giving us our concrete mixers. After I realized what had happened I had to get up and look for our desserts. There would have been no way someone would have found us when the kid took our number prematurely. The last issue I had with our eat in experience is that the teens that were bussing the tables really weren't bussing the tables. Patrons had to ask if their dirty table could be wiped down. Thankfully the food was hot and delicious. So, lets talk about this location's cluster of a drive thru situation. What the hell are they thinking? This used to be a dairy queen. This was not built to be a Culver's with the "pull up and wait" system. If they want to do this they need to have designated parking spots for this...numbers would be great too. Instead they have people pull up to the left, right and middle. What happens is 6 cars end up blocking the entire drive-thru. People in the back get their food and have to wait until the people in front get their food. This happened to me tonight when we ordered 2 concrete mixers to go. After ordering the girl in the window gives me a number and tells me to move up...to where? She closes the window and I sit there not able to move with a line of cars piling up behind me for 10 minutes. Never did she come back to the window to explain. Finally the 2 cars in the middle column move (since the guy in the back already had his food they both left at the same time) and I move up. I waited another 8 minutes before a manager comes to tell me that the chocolate custard machine broke down, he was called in to fix it, and that fresh custard is being made...please move up to an actual parking spot...something that should already be part of the system. I wait another 5 minutes before a girl comes out with our custard in a drink carrier and hands us 2 coupons for our trouble. I look at the custard and wonder why, if it was "fresh" it was already melting. What's even worse I had my son hand me my custard as we were driving home and it was completely wet with chocolate custard on the outside of the cup. So I had to drive one handed home with the other hand sticky with chocolate. We were given no napkins and sloppy cups. Ugh. This location needs to get tips from the location in Town and Country on Hillsborough. The Hillsborough location hired people, including teens that understand customer service. All the workers including the teens are very friendly. The restaurant is clean and tables are bussed reasonably. The drive thru system makes sense with designated waiting spots. They have a system. A working system that makes me want to skip Citrus Park and go to Hillsborough instead. 3 stars because I'm a new fan of the Culver's chain and the food is still good. I hope to come back in a few months to find all the wrinkles ironed out. read more

So Culver's is one of my favorite burger places that isn't In N Out. I have a few of those places, but Culver's really kills it with an extensive variety of menu offerings, frozen treats and full meals. The cheese curds are by far my favorite. So why three stars? Because. Season your meat, Culver's, for the love of God, season your meat. My Wisconsin melt is amazing after I douse that baby in salt and pepper and add some condiments. All I ever get at any Culver's is a Wisconsin melt and cheese curds instead of fries. Sometimes I get a concrete, which is like a customizable mcflurry or Blizzard from DQ. I generally stick to my old trusty, chocolate with Reese's. They also sell pints and sundaes. Get the cheese curds and be prepared to season your own meat! read more

You don't come here if you want to eat healthy! But it is good! Except for the burgers which are run of the mill meat patties, all the sides are very good. Cheese curds deep fried are decadent. After waiting ten minutes I got cold fries and fish that wasn't completely battered and was barely hot and a piece of bread that was stale and crumbling, didn't even look like it was a full piece. Culver's is usually known for friendly staff who make recommendations and good food but tonight the girl who took our order seemed not interested in being at work, she kept yawning and looking around as we put our order in. Tonight, like every other time, I call the store, ask for the manager, and am made to wait so long, I end up hanging up. The wife is fed up! Bad enough you place your order at the drive thru and are made to wait with 8 other cars in an area that should fit 4, but then your order comes out cold! The bathrooms were absolutely filthy, a outside interstate bathroom would have been cleaner. I just witness the worst service to a senior citizen tonight. This gentleman has been waiting for his order even before my brother got his order (and my brother came wayyyy after him)... the older gentleman even asked an employee that was passing by to see what was happening to his order. The employee kept on doing other things than go check the man's order!!! The wait was to the point that we went up to the counter for the gentleman to ask what happened to order (he was order number 90). The girl found his ticket still waiting to be served. The girl stated they will bring it right to him. We waited again that it was to the point the older gentleman had to come up (keep in mind he was walking with a cane) and ask for his order. To add on their very slow service, I had the experience at the drive thru about 3 weeks ago where they forgot to bring me the order that i needed to come in to get my order. Been there several times. The food is ok. The service is typically slow. Not because of the fresh food, because whenever a line, they have two registers open at the most. The reason for this review is the chicken soup I ordered tonight. If I could give it negative stars, I would. Hopefully, it was a bad batch and not what they typically sell.
