The chocolate malt melted quickly, but was sweet and refreshing regardless. The veggie burger was also filling. The ambiance here is immediately welcoming. They finally got the salt-shaker under control. I just ate a burger here that was not super-salty. In fact, it was properly seasoned. In fact, it was so properly seasoned that I could taste what Culver's is trying to do with the Great American Burger-- they make it a little bland to suit Wisconsin taste buds and that's okay... I love their chicken strip basket. Always crunchy and delicious. The chocolate custard is also very good.

Their burgers and cheese curds are mediocre but their frozen custard is amazing, lots of mixings, lots of taste, lots of deliciousness. Not worth getting a meal here, there are much better cheese curds in the Midwest, but just get ice cream or frozen custard or whatever it is. There are so many delicious ways to customize it, I got peanut butter cups, fudge, and bananas and it was so so good. But whatever floats your boat. read more

They sometimes mess up and leave sauces out when you drive-thru, so check your order if you are a sauce fiend like me. The worst Culver's experience ever. So, I ordered one meal. We waited at our table for 30 minutes then I went up to ask where the food was. I wasn't the only one waiting for a half hour, most people got refunds and left. They lost my order in the back so they had no recollection of my order. So I gave them time to redeem themselves. I didn't get my food for another 25 minutes. I got my food and went on with my business just to find a hair half way through my burger. A BLACK HAIR. I couldn't even enjoy it. I waited 10 minutes for them to even help me. Just avoid this place, don't be patient with them. Just leave. Gets your money and leave. read more

Here's what makes this particular location stand out: the people. I don't know how or why, but the employees here are pretty much the nicest group of individuals you'll ever encounter. Seriously, you will want to invite them all over to your house for Thanksgiving dinner. The burgers are still really good and even the newest gimmick burgers deliver. But they are equally famous for the custard. We just went through drive through; however, the service was very fast, and the worker made some great recommendations to his favorite dishes. In addition, the person I went with is very picky regarding the ingredients that are put on her burger. She always has to customize what she orders, and a lot of time with fast food, it is done improperly. However, at this Culvers, the food was prepared well, in addition to the burger being prepared properly. A standard Culver's, frankly. I've never really thought their custard was all that great, and the flavor of the day always sounds spectacular, but doesn't turn out that way in the end. The Butter Burgers are good, and any place that offers cheese curds as a side gets an automatic star added to the review. Food is fantastic for fast food and the customer service is topnotch. We go here about 1time every two months and last week we purposely headed there after a day of errands because my daughter needed to use the bathroom desperately. When we arrived, both bathrooms had signs stating that they were unusable. While ordering, I asked Aaron ( behind the counter) if we truly couldn't use the bathrooms and he apologized profusely that they were not working. Then he looked at my daughter dancing around and said, " do you REALLY need to use the bathrooms?" We told him we really did. He then said, give me a minute and I'll show you the Employee bathrooms. This Culver's is horrible!! The frozen pints most of the time are not blended at all...half of it ends up being just plain vanilla custard.... Last time we decided to try it one more time....the custard wasn't mixed enough...the custard was grainy!!! We got 3 pints that were made right then because they didn't have the flavor we wanted (they only half packed those 3 pints)...and the other pint was made a different day and all 4 pints had the same grainy nasty texture for the custard that would just cover the spoon when trying to eat it...Nasty!!! Great service. Quality fresh food. I just hope they don't start charging for extra pickles and want tips for workers coming to take away the trays. Greeted when I come in and when I left. Culvers cost more than other well known fast food, but culvers fill you up compared to McD. Culvers also make fresh food especially the fish. McD downsized their food and charge more now. read more

I like Culvers. The burgers are good but that isn't all that's on the menu. You have a lot of choices from salads to fish and I don't have the money to try all of them. Today I had the Wisconsin Swiss Melt burger and a large basket of onion rings. They will substitute onion rings for the ubiquitous and carb rich french fry for a nominal additional charge. The Onion Rings are DELICIOUS. Best fast food rings I have ever had the pleasure to eat. And, I like the layout of the store. There is a front counter that is separated from the dining area by a soda and condiment wall area which greatly helps to muffle the screeching noises coming from the kitchen. One isn't plagued with beep beeps or loud chatter from the employees. Condiment cups are large sized instead of the itsy bitsy teeny ones used at McDonalds which is another story. And, food isn't the only fare at Culvers. The frozen treats and desserts are another option. Meals are brought to you, you don't have to stand for twenty minutes waiting for a french fry order that wasn't ready when you arrived. You can seat yourself immediately. Culvers has an awful lot going for it. I like their style and, if you don't go for anything else, go for the Onion Rings. You will not be disappointed. read more
