5 stars?! Yes!! This was fantastic! The "house brand" is called Yogurt Lab Tart. It is a truly a yogurt based treat, and delicious!!! We tried the fruity flavors (no dairy) which are more of a Sorbet! They were super creamy, and the mango was MY fav, bestie enjoyed the raspberry tart and blood orange! Just informed from owner, that fruit flavors are all sorbet with no dairy and no fat. Great toppings, but no nerds or sprinkles! AND.. you pay per cup... NOT by weight! Huge bonus!! read more

Small size was enough. Been filling my cup to the brim in the past but saw a kid go over board w a swirling motion like on cone.... I've been doing it all wrong! My fav. Flavors are coconut n berries. They didn't have too many flavors today. Cool place. read more

We used to love this when it was a yogurt lab franchise - their Margherita flavor was rare but exquisite. This location has gone through pricing changes almost every time we've visited, from going by size instead of weight to increasing the cup cost. The last time we visited, they seemed to be under new management and/or decided not to pay the franchise fee, so they were called "Froyo Factory" but serving ostensibly the same product, and with essentially the same interior decorations. The latest pricing change was to require purchasing an empty cup at the front of the store before you could fill with yogurt, which led to slow an unsatisfactory service. read more

Their name should be updated to Froyo Factory since Yogurt Lab was better managed by its former owner prior to the name change. It's no wonder Froyo hires only teens. It expects that employees keep their mouths shut. It finds excuses and lies for firing employees when they start questioning about not being paid. Turnover is too high. Unfair labor practices. Management is cheap with maintaining the place and keeping their employees. read more

*** Yogurt Lab is now under new management and has been rebranded as Froyo Factory. I wanted to share our recent experience with Froyo Factory Woodbury or anyone considering working there or supporting the business. My son worked at Froyo but was not paid his full wages. Despite multiple follow-ups and filing a formal case, the company has still not voluntarily released the wages owed. We feel it's important for potential employees and customers to be aware of this situation and exercise caution when dealing with the establishment. Everyone deserves to be paid for honest work. Posting this in the spirit of keeping our community informed. read more

Last night I took my kids to Froyo Factory and was so astonished that I had to sleep on it before writing this review. When we walked in, the place was so horribly messy: including a chair tipped over and a yogurt spilled on the floor. Employee was sitting and not doing anything about it. One of my kids even pointed out the mold under the yogurt spout. BLACK MOLD!! The whole place smelled like vinegar, I don't know what that's from but disgusting. My son had to use the bathroom and when I asked the employee where it was, the employee rudely told me it was closed for servicing, after I had just seen a customer walking out from behind the bathroom? I decided to go anyway and when walking I caught a glimpse of the back room where I saw an employee blowing out smoke from a vapor device. This employee was openly doing drug activity in front of my SON! I don't know how your managers could ever look at the cameras and see an employee blowing out smoke and be okay with it. So disgusting, just like the bathroom was! Please clean your bathrooms!! I had to make a yelp account for this because I am not a judgy person whatsoever, however this experience completely changed my view on the chain industry and I will be brining this to the authorities and health inspectors. read more

This is the most expensive frozen yogurt shop I've been to in all of MN. The small was $7 for a super small proportion. Half of the machines were turned off, and there wasn't all the toppings either. Overall, I would spend my money at another froyo shop read more

This is our favorite spot for frozen yogurt! There are ao many options. There were just one or two workers taking care of the cash registers. It was very clean and quite busy for a Monday night! We went after swim lessons so we thought it would be quiet on a Monday! read more

One of the few places in the Woodbury neighborhood that's worth visiting a second time. Creamy soft serve yogurt ice cream with tons of toppings to choose from . Leave alone kids, adults go nuts at this place with the variety of ice cream flavors to sample including sugar free and dairy free choices .The toppings galore from fruits, nuts and other kid favorite candy toppings gives you a high not necessarily a sugar high making this place a relatively healthier ice cream alternative . My favorites are Chocolate, Salted Carmel and Mango sorbet flavors. Must try if you are in Woodbury . If you happen to be just driving through the highway to Wisconsin make it a point to take a break and enjoy frozen yogurt at this spot. It's well worth the little detour ... read more

The station was really dirty with toppings all over, mixed with each other. Some of the frozen yogurt spouts had black mold on the under side. Was very grossed out. Employees were just standing around chatting with friends while most the tables were messy and not wiped down. I don't think I'll ever be back. read more

The service was really nice but there was SO MUCH room for improvement. They had limited toppings, much of them were out of stock, they claimed to have vegan options but that was out of stock, the place was dirty and underwhelming decoration-wise. Honestly go anywhere else. They were better before they changed hands read more

Closers close before posted closing time, toppings are locked away, no longer yogurt lab, workers aren't always there, hours aren't accurate on the door, bathrooms aren't ever open, very little flavors read more

Hello The last two times to this location I felt like it was dirty. The front of the open air condiment bar is all dripped on and looking rusty. The chalk board wallpaper is coming apart at the seems. The windows, stainless steel all needs cleaning. Good place but needs TLC please! Oh, one other thing! The broom and dust pan behind the counter and sanitizer bucket sitting out visible is pretty ugly too. I hope it gets cleaner. Thanks read more

When I walked in I was greeted and helped. They have a good range of different flavors and a lot of toppings ( toppings are free and you can put as much as you want). They also charge by the size and not weight which was very good. Great atmosphere as well. read more

Basically like every standard yogurt lab. Clean and lots of places to sit (including big tables so come with friends!). The best part, however, is they have PUMPKIN SPICE! It's spring and my inner white girl has been craving pumpkin for months now and seeing the sign that they carried such a delicious flavor was just the greatest day of my life... probably. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place! read more

Nice decor and topping selections, but allergen-conscious buyers need to beware. I had a friend who is vegan who got dairy-free yogurt and it clearly was made with milk. The employee admitted they used the wrong base. The owner called to apologize, which was very nice, but it was still pretty discouraging. Someone could really get hurt! read more

I love this place a lot. Their are many different flavors, and your originals of course. ( Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry.) Unfortunately not many of the flavors are good with mixing though. But they have pretty good toppings, gummy bears, strawberries, sour patch kids, omg thinking about it makes me hungry right now! They also have boba as a topping. Ugh my heart! So delicious! I do kinda wish they had more flavors though, and some times their isn't anything telling what the flavor is. Other than that, pretty good place! Could be a bit cleaner too. read more

Yogurt Lab is my favorite quick fix for a sweet craving. Their yogurt is DELICIOUS. Never too creamy or too chalky, it's always spot on. My favorite flavors are toasted marshmallow and salted caramel. If you have food allergies, all the yogurts are very well labeled. There are TONS of toppings and you can customize to your liking. The best part is that you pay by size, not weight like other places. Perfect dessert spot- will keep coming back! read more

This place used to be very good but since new ownership it has gone down hill. About 1/2 of the machines are shut down so they offer about 1/2 the flavors. The Lids don't fit cups. Less toppings. Not even bags to help carry out the frozen yogurts. I'm not trying to bash the cheap owner but come on man, you need to spend money to make money. I spent over $500 there last year but will be taking my business elsewhere....unless something changes. Please keep me posted if you do. read more

place used to be great now only has a poor selection of flavors and is not what the website selection is.

Stopped for an after school treat with grandkids. Only 3 choices of yogurt, and one was sour tasting. Mentioned this but no refund. Yogurt was also grainy and icy, no creamy. The entire place smelled like Lysol cleaning stuff. This was once our favorite but has gone down hill the last 2 years. read more

Many non dairy options available which is awesome and delicious. The fruit did look really bad and we didn't we didn't get greeted by the 3 employees working also we never got told that it doesn't get weighed so we spent a lot for the fro yo we got. But it was delicious and nice and soft. read more

Finally, a decent Yogurt place in the east metro. I used to drive to Hopkins and Edina to get my Yogurt Lab fix, and I didn't regret it one bit, either. Skip Freeziac, Cherry Berry, all those other ones-- they pale in comparison to this place, and that's no lie. They have an ever changing lineup of flavors (granted I'm a horrible creature of habit and love my Yogurt Lab Tart) and an even more extensive lineup of toppings. The best part is how meticulously clean they keep this place and how fresh the fruit is. Never have to pick around a strawberry because it didn't look right. Just be careful how much toppings you add, I've had $7.00 bowls of Frozen Yogurt before... But seriously. Go Here. read more

I absolutely love yogurt lab! They have the best froyo in my opinion. But the service here is terrible. And the way you treat your customers matter! I went in yesterday with my siblings, and we got our froyo which tasted great. After eating awhile, my sister got another cup to go, and when she went up to pay the employee told her that they only had flat lids so my sister would have to squish her froyo. My sister paid, and went back to sit down and I went up to get a lid for my little brothers froyo. There was a white mom and her son ahead of us with 3 froyos to go, and the employee at first told her that they would have to squish their froyo BUT THEN she offered the white woman and her son dome lids to go. I stood there astonished at the fact that she offered them the dome lids because she knew the mother would be rude about it, but she did not offer it to my sister. I'm not sure why, and I don't wanna place the race card, but PLEASE treat all your customers the same. I am disappointed and I am never coming here again. read more

I absolutely love yogurt lab! Their flavors are so unique and the topping are delightful! But, why did they have to change the prices? Before I could just put as much yogurt in as I wanted as well as toppings and it would go by weight. Now I feel pressured because it goes by cup price, and now I cram as much yogurt in as possible with the toppings overflowing so that I can get my money's worth. Also why does the cashier have a tip jar by them? What am I tipping them for? The nasty glares as I put mochi on my yogurt? The stares as I put more boba on my yogurt? None of the cashiers ever have a smile on their face. So I ask again, what am I tipping them for? read more

My sister tried to deter us from going here. "It's super expensive" she said. Well, that was when they charged you by the weight of your cup - not anymore! Each size cup has a fixed price, so you are free to pile on the toppings - and I did just that. They have a variety of flavors, but some explanation on the lesser known ones would be nice. For instance, my mom wanted vanilla, but it was out. She was wandering around like a lost puppy until an employee told her that the Fior di Latte flavor was like a "Dairy Queen Vanilla." Problem solved. Some of the yogurt comes out painfully slow. However, it's delish and I would definitely come back again if in the area. read more

Yogurt Lab - Tart froyo with blackberries and blueberries, and a mix of different flavors with lots of crazy toppings - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Woodbury, Minnesota

Yogurt Lab is by far the best frozen yogurt I have ever had! It is so throughly made and tastes super good. I love the different sizes in cups, all the flavors, all the toppings, and all the different ingredients in the yogurt that are specific to someones diet or allergy. Also the costumer service at Yogurt Lab excellent! I 100% recommended! read more

I like this place. We tried it after our sister told us it was way better than the other local yogurt joints. The yogurt had a nice firm consistency and there were lots of different items to "experiment" with. Something new for me in yogurt was the "Mochi" and it was surprisingly good. We're definitely gonna come back if we're out this way. read more

Delicious frozen yogurt flavors and fixings. Pricing based on size, instead of weight of product. (Pricing was previously based on weight).

I was really excited to try this place bc so many people have said they love it. However it was nothing spectacular in my opinion. Yogurt & topping selection seemed to be the same as any other yogurt place. Place was clean and trendy but nothing makes this stand out for me. read more

We missed our old favorite Yogurtland in Southern California and decided to check this place out. The lab decor was cute and the seating was spacious. Bathrooms were very clean. There was plenty of room to wander. I like tart yogurt and use it as the flavor to compare different shops to. Their tart yogurt flavor was not bad although not exactly like the original tart Asian yogurt. They claim to make all their yogurts in house using organic yogurt and hormone free milk. This is good to know with all the pesticides used in feed these days. Selection: There were 16 flavors with enough variety to satisfy most palates. Along another wall were about 2 dozen various dry toppings (cereals, candies, nuts). In the center were refrigerators toppings ( fruits, fruit flavored balls, whipped cream, cookies, chocolates) and syrups. Overall: three kids and I give it a thumbs up. We'll be back even if it's $.55/oz. read more

I was very excited to see that yogurt lab was coming so close to our home! I visited today for the first time and tasted a couple of flavors and was very disappointed. The yogurt was runny and the flavors were not that great, no enticing flavors! They did not even have regular vanilla with regular sugar only the one with Splenda. (I understand having the option, but don't put it as your first option and make it very clear that it's a diet option!!) ! I just tasted a tad of 2 flavors and asked the employee why they were so runny...he said, well I just checked them and well it's yogurt so it's going to be. When in fact other yogurt shops, like Cherry Berry and Freeziac, have much thicker consistency and much better flavors. Instead of troubleshooting and asking for my feedback as a new customer, the server didn't even say goodbye. I chose not to waste my money and did not feel obligated to buy anything. I would highly recommend for a new business to get feedback and have much better service! And maybe visit their competitors to get a baseline of what's already available minutes away. I would drive the extra 5 minutes to get a much better product and service any day! read more
