haven't ate there for years , i did enjoy it though the last time i ate there. high quality food and a good selection too read more

I have never been to a Culver's as I'm from the west coast. The menu is overwhelming. I'd suggest looking at their menu before walking in as my jaw must have dropped as the cashier was kindly asking me if I was ready to order. I ended up getting a combo burger meal, some cheese curds, and cookies and cream custard. The burger was delicious. The thing that took me by surprise was the breaded, deep-fried cheese curds. These were so flavorful. Imagine the best deep fried cheese stick you've ever had and multiply that by four as there is four times as much surface area to coat with that delicious breading. The custard was also fantastic. It's like a McDonalds blizzard, but creamier and more flavorful. read more

Culver's - Burgers Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

All the staff people were lined up in the front of the store and their light blue outfits ready to greet you. It was almost intimidating. I wasn't sure if I was a fast food restaurant or a police stop but the custard was pretty darn good. We had the turtle cream cheesecake flavor of the day And had a lot of pecans in it. The store was super clean and the service was efficient. read more

Culver's - Turtle cheese cake custard - Burgers Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

Food and ice cream is always spot on at any of the 7 restaurants myself and wife has eaten at!

Quick friendly service with consistent food. Nothing special but just what you expect. It was very clean and there were employees around to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for fast food if that's your thing. read more

Culver's - Fish sandwich basket - Burgers Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

Great service and polite staff, would eat here again! I am interested to try some of their ice creams as well!

This location, like the vast majority of Culver's I've visited, is extremely consistent. We usually order via the app and do curbside pickup. The app makes it very easy to customize your order, which I appreciate. Every single employee I've ever dealt with has ranged from nice to incredibly nice. The food quality is consistent and my orders are delivered accurately. If you like Culver's, you will certainly enjoy this location. read more

A Midwest staple that always delivers on good burgers, cheese curds and custard! Service was friendly and efficient. Ambiance is country and homey. read more

Culver's - the front of the building - Burgers Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

Always hot and fresh. Burgers are great. Tried chili and it's good. Custard is a bit spendy. Chocolate malt was perfect. read more

Why you gotta ruin the damn ice cream by constantly putting nuts in it... that's disgusting!

the service was absolutely terrible. kayla the drive through told me my card "should be tap" after trying to tap my card and it wasn't a tap card. i find that comment extremely disrespectful and WILL NEVER be visiting this culver's location ever again. please teach your drive through workers to be more respectful and smarter. on top of the bad service they put chocolate in with my banana sundae that was spoused to be a banana sundae, not chocolate in it. what if i had a chocolate allergy? read more

Omg so good!! I only had the custard but wow it was so dreamy and almost buttery delicious. We did drive-thru and my bf ordered the fried pork sandwich and i got the frozen custard. Our waiter even took care of our custard since it was our first time! Is Culver's highly profitable? If so, I'll bet that type of customer service and employee autonomy is part of that success. You have GOT to get frozen custard here. Prob best frozen dessert I had in Rochester. 1000x better than DQ and Flappadoodles. read more

My burger was good except pretty cold going through the drive up, I think next time I'll just go in.

Great job with adapting to the pandemic! You guys figured it out when others couldn't. Great idea with the two lines at the drive up. You have not compromised on quality and service. Thank you! (I can't believe how busy you are on a Wednesday night at 7:30.). Awesome!!! read more

For fast food, it is really good. Butter burgers are masterful. Fries...ok. I don't go there for the fries. Cod sandwich - so good. Like so much better than a fast food fish sandwich. House root beer - good - a lot like an A&W. Custard and ice cream options galore. If you don't have a Culver's in your area - try one here! read more

The employees are very kind and friendly, the food was fresh and delicious. And the ambiance is nice. Perfect 5 star experience

Wasn't bad just a little pricey for fast food . I remember the fries tasting so much better on previous visits.

We've always gotten great service and fresh food from this location. Everything is made fresh! read more

Wow My husband and I stopped at Culvers South, Rochester MN and started to eat our food - I took a Fry and was going to dip it in my catsup -when I lifted to put in my mouth there was a brown hair hanging on it - and I am wearing my hair up - GROSS. Never going back there again !!! SO SAD !! (Also advised my friends on Facebook!!!) read more

This and subway are really the only drive throughs we will go to, other than coffee shops. For fast food you can't beat their burgers. I like the walleye sandwich and my husband likes the shrimp dinners. The chili is better than you'd expect from fast food too. The employees are excellent and always helpful. read more

They have the best Strawberry shakes around. Always like to get patty melts here. Had the atlantic cod once too and it was very tasty. Nice alternative to fast food places which I do a lot, probably more than I should. read more

Love the custard. Usually get a kids meal because that's plenty enough food. The place is usually busy. Which is a good sign read more

See all

This is one of the best kept secrets in the Midwest. The burgers are great and are actually better w/o cheese as the balance of flavor is better. You can tell the shakes are good quality dairy. The cheese curds are OK. I'm not a fan of that kind of breading. The service is friendly and there are many choices. A great alternative to the national chains. read more

Culver's has always been a favorite off mine. Me and my grandma make it a tradition to come with the dogs every chance we get

This culver's is the deadass best culver's, I've ever been too!! The service was unreal, so super speedy fast with my custard and cheese curds it was milliseconds I swear. The culver's man sprinted them to me. They 100% train for this. This culver's is what heaven is like. read more

Bought 3 Kid's meals in Rochester. Drive thru was fast and courteous. The food was good and hot. I can't remember the last time I was disappointed at a Culvers. Greta food on the run. read more

Great place for family style food. The best thing is their strawberry snakes. The butter burger is good but I usually prefer the grilled rueben. Plenty of seating and is clean and affordable. No problem parking, walking distance to menards or shopko, but usually after eating I'm too lazy to. read more

This is a family favorite of ours. The owner is always there and consistently asks us how we are enjoying our food. The food is always fresh and tasty. Get a kids meal. You get a nice burger, salad, and drink for a decent price and get a frozen custard thrown in for free. It's a nice meal. Very reasonably priced, a sit down dinner pace (not fast food) without the tipping and annoying waiters. read more

Service is always fast. I prefer frozen custard to ice cream so I come here every so often. It isn't my favorite frozen custard but it is the only option here in Rochester so it works. I prefer the gelato place in University Square, it is closer to real frozen custard than this place. Culver's is more like soft serve to me. Some people like that though so maybe you will love it. I have only tried the food once and it was good. Greasy and unhealthy, but good. No veggie options which is a no-go for me. I feel it is still better than regular ice cream joints, hence the 4 stars. :-) read more

As far as good fast food goes, I prefer this to the usual mcdonalds and so on. Good burgers, chicken tenders and shakes. Just don't abuse :) read more

I have a big gripe about this place-their french fries are lousy!! I like their flavor of the days and butterburgers-but the fries have no salt or flavor and are limp! The chicken tenders and walleye are very good-and the place is much cleaner than Wendy's or McDonald's at Apache Mall-go there if you want the next day off work=) read more

Had the regular cheese butter burger with fries. Needed some salt and flavor in a very bad way.

Just the best home made shakes in town. They have great sandwiches too. I love the butter burger but the chicken sandwich is awesome too. Handy location close to my favorite shoe store. Occasionally I use the drive up when I just want something quick. read more

Great family style fare. You leave very full. Servings are big and fairly priced. I recommend the butter burger ofcourse. Pretty fast service also. read more

Probably the best of the fast food options. Culver's has the best burgers and they are always well-staffed... Rarely had to wait.

Always clean, always fresh, and always friendly. Very good price for the size and quality of food. Easily one of the best fast food places

Fattening food and fast service. Employees can be a bit too friendly (engaging in unnecessary small talk), but that's classic Minnesota for you. Prices are higher than your standard fast food chain; however, this is reflected in the quality of the food. Butter burgers are a little heavy for me, but I do love the cheese curds and a good custard. Both are fresh - the curds hot and crispy, and the custard milky and creamy. Lots of seating is available both in the store and out on the patio. read more

My first visit to this location but as always I was pleased with the results. You just always know you're going to get hot, good tasting food no matter which franchise you go to. I took away one star because the floor was sticking to my shoes as soon as I walked in but as busy as they were I'm sure it would have to wait until the lunch rush was over. read more

The food at Culvers is always top notch, but the service from this store has been over the top. I was in a tough situation with a child that had been through some medical procedures and really wanted Culvers food as she was comfortable with quality tasting food. The managers and staff were over the top in helping us get an order for and to her. Unbelievable service and greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work. read more

This was the worst case of directions off the I90 freeway ever. Drove for 20 minutes with no clue on where to go. When I accidentally found it, the place was crowded, service slow, and with me driving away to find another place to eat. read more
