Feels a bit strange to review a Culver's, but if you go to school in Northfield you know there aren't many options. If you find yourself dying for a salad when the caf has nothing but canned vegetables, Culver's is the place to go. Haven't had a bad salad yet and it's an easy way to correct my vitamin deficiency from college food. The strawberry field salad and the cranberry bleu are the best I've had in MN other than Panera. Thank you Culver's for staving off my anemia -- I wish you were on DoorDash when I'm desperate and it's -20°. This culvers sucks. We waited 11 minutes for two ice creams tonight, had all three of the cars behind us served before us, and then when they brought the ice creams the guy had an attitude and was pissed when we sent the ice cream back because it was so melted it was 90% liquid... what the heck? Why can't they get some customer service training? When they brought out the remade ice cream there were minimal toppings, it wasn't mixed to the bottom of the cup, and the topping were so blended that they did have they were no longer concrete mixers... needless to say we won't be coming back to this location ever again. read more

I normally don't leave reviews, and normally have a pleasant experience, so this was disappointing and worth sharing. I went to Culver's about a week ago, ordered ahead and did the curb side service. I realized when I got there, I put in the wrong vehicle (we have 2) when it asked the description, so the employee knew who to give it to. luckily, I was the only one parked at curb-side, so I was hoping it wouldn't be a huge issue. The guy (looked like a manager) finally came out with my food, I instantly rolled down my window taking full responsibly for the vehicle. He shook his head and said to me, "boy you make it very difficult to do things like this" dead serious, and I said, "I know I'm sorry, I totally screwed up and put my other car for the description, I'm so sorry" he then says "yeah, but other people park here, next time that happens, you NEED to call" which is totally true, and now I know, but he was SO RUDE about it. I thought to myself, boy, if you're going to get that upset over that, when I took full responsibility right away, everything in my bag better be in here and perfect. 1 star for poor service. I love culvers and i go to several different locations south of the cities. The one in Northfield has by far the worst service of any ive been to. They dont remove any ingredients (at-least for me) so if you are allergic from anything they serve: STAY AWAY! I submitted a complaint the same day about receiving the wrong order, and have not heard back from them. It has been a little over 2 months, so i will just not be returning there again. read more

Beware, orders placed for DoorDash delivery cannot be altered nor canceled. I've been disputing a charge (for months) with this Culver's. I moved out of State 4 years ago, I haven't ordered from Culver's since. I placed a DoorDash order, I immediately realized my former address was listed and notified the DoorDash driver. She canceled the order through her dispatcher and offered to contact the restaurant to cancel for me. DoorDash credited me for the delivery fees. Food is generally good here, it's a big dining room and as all Culver's they cook to order so it takes a little time. Most of the time the crew is very young and a lot of the time it looks like a lot of people are just standing around. This one is ALWAYS busy, so it's doing something right. read more

All around rude. I don't know what's going on but this is the second time I've been mistreated going here. No one says have a good day/night. Everytime I say thank you they ignore it or roll there eyes. Update they didn't even bother listening to make the right order. I love Culver's but this location and how it runs makes zero sense. They have a person in a box yet no menu to look at and when we asked to go look at the menu she said she could read it off or have us go look at it then go all the way around and get back in line to order. When asked why, they said they don't have enough people inside to work the intercom. You don't have enough people yet you have somebody to work outside in the box and take orders? I'm sure everybody would rather be able to see a menu. I'm sure it's not the girls fault and most likely management, but that is plain stupid. read more

I wanted to try a Butterburger..I really did. But after six days in the land of weiners, steaks, burgers, brats, and other food which shocked my body, I had to get a Culver's Deluxe. It was quite tasty and reminded me of a local chain in KC, Winstead's. It was a steakburger...meaning is was a thin patty of tasty meat well cooked and loaded with fresh and tasty toppings. This chain-hating dude was quite impressed. The restaurant experience overall was a bit surreal. There may have been a patron inside who doesn't often leave their place of residence...and my 88 year-old grandmother was also with me. It was a nice place to get a decent meal (salad was a salad as one might expect in Northfield, MN on a hot day in July) but there food was tasty, hot, well-prepared, and the staff was friendly and concerned with our enjoyment. :) read more

I. LOVE. CULVERS. Honestly, maybe it's bc I'm from the south and we don't have them, but I'm full blown obsessed. Anytime I'm in the midwest, I visit at least twice- once when I land and then again on my way to the airport. Culver's is consistently clean, quick, and most importantly- allergy friendly! It's rare to find a fast-food place you can drive through with a gluten allergy and trust the food is prepared in a gluten-friendly environment- the gluten free bun even comes in its own package. The service is great, most of the food is local and the restaurants are consistently clean... an exceedingly rare combination when it comes to fast food! Needless to say, McDonald's, Wendy's & the rest would definitely benefit with a lesson from Culver's. read more

Always love Culver's! Wish I knew how many carbs in a Malt though! Everything is fresh! Had to wait for their recycle truck to move today. This is literally the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in and you can tell the kids working there have been raised right! They are so polite and friendly, the owners are lucky to have such great employees. The food is pretty darned good too; made only when you order and brought out to you hot. I've only ever had the deluxe burger and fries but that's why I go back. Oh! And they sponsor Red Cross blood drives so the coupon for free frozen custard is an added bonus. read more
