I love these little roadside stands that are quickly fading remnants of the past. And I am a root beer connoisseur so of course this place warranted a stop for a root beer float. This is a place where they come out and take your order, apparently--but I didn't know that so I went up to the booth. They were busy chatting so maybe wouldn't have come out very quickly anyway. They are generous with the soft serve and it was a great float. I've already recommended them to a friend who also loves these little drive-ins. I don't know if I'll ever be this far up in the Northwoods again, but I will stop at Dogs N Suds for a root beer float if I am.
