    Burned grilled cheese

If you wouldn't eat it yourself I don't think you should serve it. I'd rather wait longer and get something worth eating, just admit you messed up the first order. This isn't rocket science.

Well as far as fast food is concerned, this Culver's gets 5 stars!! Super friendly staff living the Culver's model. Each and every employee that saw us walk in said "welcome to Culver's" with a smile! They were playful and friendly when two employees asked to help me at the same time, and I jokingly danced between the two before choosing. They laughed and had a good time with it. They took my order which is sometimes difficult because I like their veggie burgers but I like it made like a mushroom Swiss burger but with the veggie patty. That seems easy enough but when it comes to how to put it in the computer, people are often confused. I really think it would be much easier for me as the customer if I could just order any burger with a veggie patty in substitution for the meat patty. I mean really. Anyway, they handled it beautifully. After we sat down, the gentleman that brought our food to us was a true angel!! Wish you guys were closer to me and I'm just hoping the Culver's opening in my area has half the customer service expertise as you guys!! Great job!

This is the "2 oz cheese sauce" and that's with the little container

The general manager Quan, was very argumentative. He wanted to make sure he got his point by raising his voice to tell us we "didn't get ripped off." "You did not get ripped off, it's only 2 oz for 80 cents. I packed it myself." He did not do a very good job for being a GM, he apparently needs to go back to, let me see, when did we learn how to use a scale? Oh yeah, SECOND GRADE. The cheese cup that was supposed to be 2 fl oz was only 1.5 fl oz and that's with the little cheap container it was in.

    2/3 of what I wanted.

I'd give this a experience 1, Based on my irritation level. But there were a couple of things that raised it. Placed an order online for three things. 3.. Got 2. This was after we checked in, and then had to call 10 minutes later, for the order that was supposed to be ready at 4, at 4:10 we called. We were literally the only curbside car. Ordered shrimp, it was tasty, however the extra 6 shrimp didn't make into the order. I mean, it's definitely hard to count to 3, but at least try. The girl who answered the call was nice enough, and based on my salad, it'd been sitting there a while, no one just brought it to us. So I've been here twice in my life, and both times I have had money stolen from me.. there won't be a third.

Today I was running really early for a meeting and realized I didn't eat breakfast so I might as well catch lunch! As I walked in the door was opened for me by staff with a smile and "Welcome to Culvers!" The staff at the counter was super friendly saying "Hello!" I placed my order and sat down. The place is nice and clean and there was a staff member cleaning the ketchup and mustard area really well. My food was brought out to me with a smile and the server said "thank you so much for coming in, I hope you enjoy your lunch!" That does add to the experience for sure! They were great! My fries were super crispy and my burger a little greasy just the way I like. I know this isn't health food! A manager had an issue with the way one of the staff was cleaning something as I was eating. She was so polite and I really like how she sounded talking to her staff.

    Melted custard 20+ minutes later.

Absolutely love this throwback to the 50s and 60s ... a real live drive-in restaurant that still…read morehas carhops working the drive up sections under the awning. Now while you can also dine in at the limited seating inside, it is more fun to do it the old-fashioned way. BTW the carhops who work the drive up also work the dine in seating, and they were excellent ... always showing up just about when you needed something. Great service. The only hard thing here is ordering outside because one can't always see every part of the menu boards tacked up under the awning ... lucky enough, the carhops bring you the full menu. Food wise: we shared an order of Fried Mozzarella Sticks (4 star good, and they only needed just a bit longer frying to make the cheese inside creamy) and we shared an order of what they bill as the largest/best serving of fries in the world (another 4 star offering that was good, but barely fed two ... let alone being the "largest"). For mains: two of us had the Cruiser Burgers (both 5 star burgers), and the last in our party had the Blue Top Burger (4 star excellent with grilled onions). Just for fun, we also tried a Chicken Taco (3 star stuff, and not really their specialty). Our group had two shakes (5 star stuff here). As a drive-in, Blue Top also knows how to have some fun: they have live music outside from time to time, and they offer "cruiser nights" when customers can drive in their muscle cars and park in the attached lot. You just have to pass by every day and read the marquee outside to know what's going on that evening or weekend. The ambiance inside is true to its 50s roots with nostalgic pictures of car drivers and their machines all over the walls. All in all, this drive-in is true to its classic car roots. Open all year. Recommended.

We ordered the Black Bullet party pack which comes with two pounds of brisket and two large sides. We went with fries and beans, and also added ribs, mac and cheese, and buns to the order. The brisket is still the star of the show. The spice rub on it is perfect, and it's so tender that it's unreal. The fries are exactly the kind of battered fries I like which was a pleasant surprise because I feel like not many places do them that way. The beans were okay... a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but they had huge chunks of pork in them that I definitely appreciated. We also added two slabs of ribs, and they fell right off the bone. I'm usually not a huge ribs person, but these were well cooked and flavorful. Mom loved them, and that's what really matters. We did have a few small issues with the order. We realized that our mac and cheese was unfortunately missing when we got home. They also ran out of pretzel buns midway through packing things up, so we ended up with a mix of pretzel and brioche buns instead. Honestly, we didn't mind that one too much because it gave us a chance to try both (I'd pick pretzel if I were you). When we picked up the order the place was absolutely packed, so it was hard to be upset over an honest mistake. They were clearly incredibly busy. I still don't really care for the sweeter sauce that tastes heavily like peppers to me, but their vinegar-based sauce (which I think is their original?) was much better than I remember. I'm glad to see this place is still around and still holds up after all this time. More importantly, the brisket is every bit as good as I remembered.
