I was looking for something different since I'm from Pa and we don't have Culver's. I have to say this local burger joint is pretty good. The reason for the 4 stars is because the Pattie's are smashed/slim but overall the mushroom Swiss burger was really good. I also had the crinkle fries which were perfectly crispy and golden without the excess amount of grease. read more

Staff was very nice but food was not. Probably the worst hamburger I've had at a Culver's. The cheese on my Deluxe was not not melted and cold to the touch. Burger was hot either. The pickles on it were very sour as well. My wife had a salad that had some shredded cheese on it that had a strange coating on it that she called wood dust. Yuck. The lettuce and the rest of salad was fresh and good. She just avoided the cheese like stuff. Not a good experience. read more

Culver's is famous for their butter burgers and for good reason, they are dam good! They have great burgers, hot dogs, crinkle cut fries, onion rings and delicious shakes. The burgers are always juicy, hot and fresh. The onion rings and shakes are also tops too. This location has a drive through and although they usually give you a number and ask you to pull ahead, the wait has always been very short despite being very busy. They do have outdoor seating so for 8 months of the year you can eat outside and enjoy the weather. Unless you desire to visit an expensive steak house, you will be hard pressed to find a better burger. Enjoy! read more

Culvers fast food is about as good as any other fast food place I guess and I usually prefer to order one of their dinners, but every time I go there I end up paying about $16 (BEFORE inflation) with a drink or a dessert but never both, and shoved at me through a metal window by a snotty person who can't smile or say hello or thank you, and darn it all, that just offends me. For sixteen bucks I can sit in a restaurant instead of having food in a plastic bag shoved at me through a metal window. I haven't been there in a long time for that reason. It's just too expensive for fast food. read more

Most fast food, chain restaurants are pretty pathetic especially the burger places, but Culver's does it right. Their butterburgers are cooked to order and they use good quality ingredients in all they do. I especially love their Pork Tenderloin Sandwich-which is my "go-to meal here, although I haven't had a sandwich I didn't like here. It's a small, regional chain, but they are growing rapidly and if they can continue to maintain their quality they will find an audience from coast to coast. All that being said, it is an inexpensive, fast food chain so don't set your expectations too high. But judging them against their competition and against what they are trying to achieve rhey knock it out of the park. read more

I'm very thankful that Culver's wasn't around Fond du Lac when I went to college, or played basketball, and even more thankful there isnt one in the city of Chicago, or I'd probably be in some cheese-filled casket by now. Some people fall in love with fancy pants places with wine and expensive vodka-soaked meals, well I love Culver's! And it really doesn't matter which Culver's you go to its all the same...the usually friendly service and amazing food. I think they clear out the high schools to fill their staff, while hitting up all the other friendly old ladies of the world who don't work at Wrigley Field. The free refills aren't helping anyone because when I hit Culver's I have every intent to pig out. It's so rare that my friends and i get to go to Culver's so we usually make every trip count! Culver's is famous for its butter burgers and frozen custard....which means nothing to me, besides the burgers and ice cream tasting really good. I dont generally eat fish but they do an amazing fish fry, while their other baskets are also just as good...usually good sized meals with fries. I often go for the burgers, which are big, tasty, and generally for me involve bacon and cheese at some point. Again, all the meals kick ass. My crew and i usually grab the double bacon butter burgers delux which are amazing, although the fries lack. Generally I like my fries to have a distinct taste, but these are just...fries. Oh well. Then comes the family-size cheese curds....yes I have a thing for cheese, look at me, i'm huge! Its a natural resource for guys like me. nevertheless a meal like this generally keeps you full and satisfied for much of the day. And for some reason you're able to stuff some frozen custard down your already full tummy, the turtle sundae is excellent! I nominate Culver's as one of my happiest places on earth! read more

This place is wonderful. I have a dietary restriction and didn't realize that their was bleu cheese before I could say a word, I was asked if everything was ok and when I explained my situation, I was given a brand new salad. Just ordered two Atlantic Cod Fish sandwiches, Terrible, Terrible, What happened these sandwiches used to be so good. The bun is three times larger than the filet, will not be going there again for Fish sandwiches. However, The waffle cones are still very good. read more
