I visited the restaurant on 3-2-23 at approximately 7:20pm and the night manager was very unprofessional. She was arguing with one of the cooks while customers waited about 15 minutes for food. The food was never being prepared because the other cook was also engaged with the situation that was going on in front of all of the customers. I finally asked the cashier that took my order, when was it going to be ready and she stated that she had no idea. I asked for a refund and the manager finally responded while still having her back turned and immediately became defensive and said "she can have her money back". The manager was extremely unprofessional, rude and for a lack of a better word ghetto. She should not be representing your store. I asked for a number to the corporate office and she said, "I don't have it". Then she said, " you can look it up". I will not be patronizing this store again. That manager should not be a manager at all and it's a disservice to your restaurant and customers to have her representing and being the face of Culvers. Customer service at this location is horrible. If I could this store would get ZERO stars, but I have to give 1 to be able to post my review. read more

The green beans were great, really they were. Everything else kind of scared me. By everything, I mean the cheeseburger I had. I'm just not enough of a burger fan to justify the grease factor. The fries were actually pretty good, especially considering they're crinkly fries, which are normally flavorless... Though they really tasted like they'd been fried in lard. Again, the "scaring me" part. Don't think I'd try Culver's again, at least not willingly, but this will always be etched in my mind as the place where my daughter had her first bit of french fry. read more

I enjoy this place immensely and it's a frequent respite whenever I visit my in-laws. The staff is always very gracious and efficient, especially by fast-food standards. This is fast-food at it's best: quick, tasty, yummy and greasy. And their milkshakes/malts are to die for. I got a small butter burger, small fries, and a small vanilla malt with chocolate syrup and it was truly fabulous. I love the buttery crusty bun and the snappy sour pickles. Little details matter. I'd probably never throw down 5 stars for a burger joint, but if I did it's this one. Easy 4 stars+. read more

Went to Culver's and ordered one value basket and cheese curds. The line was so long it curved around the whole building, and it took about 10 minutes for us to even reach the menu. Once we did order and eventually got to the window we sat at the window for another five minutes without being acknowledged by anyone. Once we finally paid, we were asked to park and I am not exaggerating when I say we were parked for 45 minutes. When we finally did get our food it was just tossed in a bag and was cold. I don't understand why they don't staff appropriate for their busy times. I was just here on a Friday nite at 6 and the drive-thru was way backed up and long lines in store. 1/2 of the staff was new plus just did a shift change.(staff and mgmt is generally unfriendly), The customers were mad, staff was stressed. They charged me 25 cents for chocolate sauce in concrete mixer. It was 1 of the 2 toppings. I asked the worker and she said she has no idea. Chick-Fil-A is super busy at all times, but they have a friendly staff and are apologetic about the wait. Culvers has a good product, but I'm done spending money and time here. Its a fast food restaurant that hires and goes through high school kids like its nothing. That being said service leaves little to be desired. Last night I watched a kid start rubbing his eyes vigorously and a co worker told him to stop and wash his hands. His response was "Hold on! Let me finish!" Naturally that guy was the one who brought me my ice cream. I just looked at him like really??? The only reason I go there is for the $4 snack back but honestly Ive seen so many gross people at restaurants I will start cooking more from home. read more

I lived in Milwaukee for 2 years while I was attending grad school at Marquette, so I'm quite familiar with Culver's and the whole frozen custard thing in general. I loved going to Chipotle for dinner after a long week of school and then crushing a custard at the Culver's next door for dessert. However, when my girlfriend (now wife!) would come visit me from California, we would go to this Culver's for lunch as well. Their food was pretty good, and the employees were always so friendly and down to earth. We also enjoyed the family atmosphere of this restaurant. I moved back home in 2006 so it has been awhile, but I'm pretty sure this Culver's is still the same. I was happy to move after being alone for 2 years, but this is one of the places that I miss the most in Milwaukee and my Wisconsin experience. read more

Great foods! My favorite menu is fish cod filet. Burgers are great too. They have variety food menu and their ice creams are great too.

Far superior to other fast food. Yesterday I ate at McDonald's and decided to sell my MCD stock. The white stuff inside the chicken McNuggets doesn't taste or resemble chicken. The hamburger looked like it was over ground in a blender. Today I ate at Culvers. A little bit more expensive but the food was excellent. My son and I ate lunch at this Culver's location on Saturday September 29, 2912 and I just had to write a POSITIVE review. Our cashier-Felicia was extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. She was engaging and made appropriate suggestions. I asked if I could try the flavor of the day and of course she gave me a small sample. I said I'd probably get a scoop after lunch. I didn't have room for the scoop after lunch but Felicia was so nice that I almost felt guilty for not buying it. The food was good enough. The burger was over cooked but tasty. The onion rings were cooked crisp but the onion was still there and soft. Good job. Where it falls apart... I went to a custard joint so of course I have to get some. It was ok. My beef is with the service... Seven people behind the counter and an additional four at the drive through. Over half were standing around doing nothing more than talking and it takes 10 minutes to get my Oreo concrete. Custard and butter burgers are your cornerstone. I am all about waiting for quality but let be honest the custard is from a machine that is always running. There should never be a wait for ice cream aka custard, and certainly not 10 minutes. How hard is it to put an order of onion rings in a paper bag? Those new plastic containers they use for onion rings and French fries makes the soggy and terrible to eat. I'm not paying for soggy food. We have asked if they could put them in a bag and they say they can't but don't offer a reason. Went today and ordered a family size onion ring and two double bacon cheeseburgers. Requested they put the rings in a bag. Got the order and the rings were in the soggy making container. Asked again for them to be in a bag. We don't do that was the answer. Open the lid to let the steam out so the would be edible. Got home and we didn't get the two double bacon cheeseburgers as ordered. We got a single cheeseburger and one double bacon cheeseburger. They put a large order in a bag!!!! The cost of one plastic container is much more than a paper bag. Not going back to this location. They are unwilling to work with their customers. read more

Over priced for horrible service. Went here today and ordered a concrete mixer with cookie dough. Nothing too complicated. Well when it got handed to me there were no visible chunks of cookie dough even after stirring around. Well I said something to the young boy in the window and he went and asked whoever made it if they put cookie dough in it. Why didn't you just take it and add more. Well then upon stirring it I found a red piece of something that wasn't fruit. Kind of concerning considering I have a food allergy. Wouldn't go back to this location. read more
