I have never felt more appreciated as a patient, more concern for my well being, more attentiveness to my comfort, more eagerness to help me achieve my goal of feeling better about my dental health and my goal of feeling proud of the appearance of my smile than I felt immediately when I entered Aspen Dental in Coeur d'Alene! I was immediately put at ease (I was very nervous) and I walked out with a plan to achieve my goal of Dental health beginning just a few days from now. Everything was made perfectly clear to me as to the plan to get me to where I wanted to be and things got started right away to help me achieve my goal. My Dental Assistant Ashlee was made for this job. I don't feel she even looks at it as a job but a way to help folks know they are welcomed and appreciated and feel they can achieve their goals because she was a delight from the very beginning making me feel like I'd known her for years. Talking with me and reassuring me all along the way as we progressed into the things that needed to be done to get me to my ultimate goal. We laughed a lot! Then I had the pleasure of speaking with my Dentist, Dr Mahmood, and she as well explained everything and answered all the questions I had with a reassurance I was going to meet every goal I wanted to for myself. I was then shown a video of exactly what my care would involve and I was ready to go! I then spoke with another member of the Team, Chris, who helped me achieve excellent financing so I could attain my dream reasonably. All in all, it was one of the most pleasurable experiences I've ever had in my 73 years dealing with something that isn't always something you like to do and that is dental work. A few weeks later they called me and said I had a few hundred dollars credit and wanted to know if I wanted something else done so i went back in and a few weeks later i get a call saying the same thing. So they are overcharging my care credit initially in order to get me to come back so they can charge more. I also got 18 months 0% but it starts the say of the first visit...so even if i went on 3 months later on the "credit" they claimed I had that 0% would hve been from the initial appointment and charge date. Seriously shady dealings in my opinion. I would not recommend Loftus.

I decided to go back to my other dentist because this practice felt like an assembly line for dental care - not at all to my liking. In March (2018), the crown virtually dissolved in my mouth. Loftus agreed to take a look. The office attendant tried to charge me $116 when I checked in - I refused. Anyway, despite the fact that the crown failed (shattered) after only 5 years, Loftus informed me that I would have to pay full price to replace his inferior work. I left and made an appointment with my regular dentist. He told me he has replaced failed Loftus crowns for other patients. Find another dentist!

For all the rest of the work needing to be done he gave me a referral to an oral surgeon and another referral to a Denture Clinic. I did some research on the places i was referred to and I did not feel comfortable going to the oral surgeon based on the negative reviews about that business. So when I contacted Dr mosby's office again to let them know that I was going to be seeing a different oral surgeon but I would like to still see Dr Mosby for the part that he said he was going to do, the office lady told me i couldn't be seen there because they didn't have time for me now. She told me they hadn't had a vacation for years and they all wanted to go on vacation. So I guess if you want to make your own decisions and find a different person that you didn't get referred to then they will make up excuses and just drop you and leave you hanging. My Appointment was scheduled for Wed Feb 11, 2026 at 12p PST. Ogdan calls me at 10am (Waking me up because I have medical insomnia since My Military Service) and states "Hello, this is Jennifer at Orban Dental. I am reaching out to you because you are scheduled today at 12pm to discuss veneers. Our front office put you with a provider that does not regularly do veneers, but we do have an opening a little earlier at 10:40am with the doctor that does cosmetic cases. Would that earlier time work for you? -Orban Family Dental -Orban Family Dental" My Thoughts: The Receptionist / Scheduler 100% knew I needed to see someone SPECIFICALLY for Veneers AND I double-checked w/this front desk lady, and yet this office is contradicting themselves & claiming the OPPOSITE (This is a RED FLAG!). I asked if they could get me in with another specialist (Since they got it totally wrong even though I DOUBLE-CHECKED after they initially scheduled me with a specialist), and she said not until the 17th, which is nearly a week from now. Again, 1) The office lady ORIGINALLY scheduled me a veneer specialist AND 2) I specifically DOUBLE-CHECKED that the individual they scheduled me with was a veneer specialist. THEN, to make matters, worse they send me a random *LAST-MINUTE* text to cancel My Appointment without My Authorization! SAME-DAY they wrote: "We have been unable to reach you, so we are canceling your appt for now. -Orban Family Dental" So because I had not immediately responded to their text, they are randomly canceling My Appointment?! I had cleared My Calendar to be able to MAKE it to their Appointment! I had it scheduled for over a week / well in-ADVANCE! I explained all of this to them and she suggested that I come in in 30 minutes at "10:40am" (Note: I was in bed (Due to insomnia from the Military Service) when she wrote me all of this sleeping - her message actually woke me up), and when I agreed to, she unrealistically said, "Prior to your appointment, Please complete your new patient forms here: https://mdnt.io/e/qntWX55yE0 If you would rather complete your forms in the office, arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. -Orban Family Dental" I said, "Canceling my appointment and then offering a last-minute appointment and expecting me to fill out all this paperwork at the very last minute?? Totally unrealistic. God bless you guys good luck." You cannot POSSIBLY expect someone to get this done when you cancel / change all of this last minute and are giving them literally only 30 minutes to get from their home to your appointment while they are still in BED! I hadn't even brushed My Teeth yet. She just cancelled & rescheduled last minute and then unrealistically expected me to fill out all of this paperwork, as well?! It physically can NOT be done!
